Started thinking about how much Kinn gets done dirty and I got so upset I blacked out
#kinnporsche#every criticism of Kinn I’ve put forth is out of love#I feel like. we extend a lot of grace to every other character but the. take Kinn’s actions at face value#and call him an asshole without examining WHY he does the things he does/acknowledging his circumstances#that’s why I kind of hate a post I made where I said he’s the worst thing that’s ever happened to Porsche#bc I think the circumstances SURROUNDING Kinn are the worst thing that’s happened to Porsche#but Kinn himself and the love he has for Porsche could never be a bad thing#I’m rambling but long story short I love him#on all levels except physical I am sheltering him from the rain and feeding him strawberries#this isn’t to say that Kinn has never done anything wrong in his life but#he’s certainly not the worst character you know?

Y'all are babying porsche so much, is it that hard to understand that he did fogave kinn and it was his choice, he wasn't forcing to, kinn is the one doing the most for this relationship, he is the one always opening to conversations and porsche is the one ghosting him, kinn brought up the kiss, the dubcon, going open with rl, explained why porsche shouldn't trust vegas and opened up about tawan. If anything it's kinn who needs all the groveling from porsche.
I don’t think I’m babying Porsche at all. I’m saying from how I personally understand his character is that he’s been forced to go, go, go all his life. He’s never had the luxury to stop and assess things that happen to him. That’s why yes he might have decided to forgive Kinn but I also think he never considered it that deeply. He just did what he always does and moves on, says it’s alright. because that’s how his life has been so far and it worked. I’m not saying Kinn forced him to do it, I’m just saying that’s how Porsche is — he’ll gloss over problems because he’s never had the time to examine them, it’s easier for his life to just move on from it. So a change from this behaviour, to actually stop for a second, assess and express other emotions, would be character growth. This isn’t babying, this is an essential part of how I view his character and history/how he’s grown up.
Also I’ve never said Kinn isn’t contributing to the relationship or doesn’t deserve any apologies either? I literally just acknowledged Kinn’s pain, that Porsche was also at fault, and said that I can understand why Kinn did what he did in my last post.
If this is in reference to that last post about Porsche telling Kinn to F off, I said that I want it to happen because it’ll be the most ideal starting point for resolution (that’s why I said necessary). Kinn seems incapable of telling Porsche to F off so any break has to come from Porsche. And yes, a break is necessary because they need to start fresh, from a healthier foundation.
They’ve both done some things right and some things wrong. Kinn needing to apologise to Porsche and Porsche needing to apologise to Kinn are two thoughts that can coexist. Porsche has been hurt by the situation and I think is owed an apology. Likewise, Porsche has hurt Kinn too so Kinn is also owed an apology. They’re not mutually exclusive and I never said they were.
I just focused on what I think the best catalyst for resolution and character growth would be. Conclusion: Porsche finally having a proper outburst of anger at Kinn and taking a temporary break from/end to their relationship.
I never said it would be morally correct or just. I just said it’s necessary.
[Edit: post in question x]
#anon#kinnporsche#kinnporsche the series#I kind of feel like I’m being asked about stuff I never said??#based on the timing of receiving this I can only assume it’s in reference to the last post
