I hate whenever I talk about facism and someone goes "its not that deep" oh but it is! The way we talk about fiction, media, gender, sex, orientation, race, kink etc blaaah blaah buzzword is all deeply tied to how we've been normalized to facist ideas and have become the cops in our own communities. Monitoring when someone gets out of line and reporting them to the correct authorities via call out post, infighting, and labeling.

"It's not that deep" but it's the reason why you so heavily use concepts like morality— not for what it is or truly means but how close to the norm you are. How well you can squash this community or single person and get away with it because everyone in unison agrees that they should be punished for some bullshit crime.
