there was an earthquake up north from where i live rn and the university sent out an alert like hey. there was an earthquake. and my whole class was really like… okay and? n just went to our next classes. which was very californian of us
#alli says shit#this is why i said the 911 earthquake episodes had to happen at a hotel#real cali natives (like most of my class) are well acquintated with earthquakes#it was a high magnitude but like we probably did not get hit as bad#i did not really notice if we did#but i did avoid the elevators. just in case#i’ve watched too much 911 for that
