Bad Batch Analysis prt2
Welcome back everyone to part 2 to my Bad Batch analysis trailers. The trailer just happened to be posted around midnight and my wifi went out in the morning so I couldn’t really do much until now. Since we got another AMAZING trailer for the Bad Batch series I believe it’s time to do another analysis. If you haven’t read my first analysis from the first trailer you can read it here
Without further ado let's get started.
The first scene we get from the trailer is a shot after that one shot we got from the first trailer. This could probably be around the time they landed on Kamino because if you look in the top right corner there is the Havoc Marauder.
Training Sequence
Next we see one of the many training grounds on Kamino. It’s strange seeing only one training ground and not multiple. It seems like this specific training ground might be underwater, as there is this long pole in the center with surrounding lights around it. Now that might be a reach, but honestly where could you see that training ground on the round houses above the ocean.
Along with that in the Legends there was a Kaminoan Jedi who lived under the sea to try to prevent the vision she had. (the vision was the clone army betraying the Jedi) So it could be possible when the Kamioan’s were building the floating city they builded the bottom levels to be used as training grounds or something.
In this scene we can see that Echo is using a vibroblade. Now is this Echo’s own vibroblade or does this belong to Hunter and Echo just picked it up to destroy one of the droids?
I feel like this shot can tell us a lot about the bad batch and how they interact with each other. Hunter and Crosshair are looking at the camera to which I can probably assume where Tarkin speaks to them. Echo lightly turns towards the direction of Tech, Hunter, and Crosshair. Tarkin probably said something that would make Echo turn to look at the three of them.
Also Tech although very subtle looks at the ground. Now this could be two things, if Tarkin said something then it might be tech looking at the ground like a Child does when their parents scolds them. Or it might be Tech is exhausted and is looking at the destroyed droids all around him.
Hunter is seen talking to someone (probably Omega) telling them that their squad (aka the Bad Batch) is nothing but trouble. We can see Crosshair and Tech walk to a door which I can assume to be their barracks for the time being (before they escape).
I really like this scene from Crosshair. This seemed to show how well the Bad Batch worked together. Hunter throws his knife in the air and Crosshair goes and shoots it in place. Which might make it even more sad if Crosshair betrays the Bad Batch. Imagine this, The bad batch is in this certain situation where a duo between Crosshair and Hunter would work. Hunter turns to where Crosshair would normally be.
“Cross lets-”
All he sees no one, and the feeling of betrayal and pain seeps through him.
“Right…”
Hunter Civilian Clothing
So we see Hunter in Civilian clothes which is like. UGH please let me hold your hand Hunter. The first time we see them is at 0:31 where Hunter steals a speeder, probably to catch up to Fennec as we can see in 1:39 who has a kid.
We get a better look at Hunter’s Civilian clothes, it really reminds me of Cut lawquane’s outfit from The Clone Wars Season 2 “The Deserters”. Maybe we might see Cut lawquane in the Bad Batch, if so I think that would be really great to see. Cut’s children with Omega might be the cutest thing we might get from Bad Batch, that’s if it happens.
Now in this scene we see Tech piloting the ship, but if you look at the corner there is Hunter on a control panel with bandages wrapped around him. So this might be either Hunter getting injured from a mission (maybe from Fennec Shand??)
This kid (not Omega) is dangling onto a cylindrical object. The Following scene with Hunter and the kid following a speeder that belongs to Fennec Shand.
The Final Part of the Clone Wars
At 0:37 we see the Batchers coming down from what seems to be like a hill destroying B1 battle droids. While the next shot is Tech and Echo shooting down said droids.
So in my previous analysis I mentioned how for one the explosions I was wondering if it was the Batchers or the Empire. Now with this new Trailer it seems to be leaning more towards the Batchers doing this.
We see Hunter putting away his knife with Wrecker carrying what seems like to be a destroyed droid.
Now I mentioned in my previous analysis that the snowy planet might be a Crosshair arc. But now with these new scenes with the snowy planet it might be a set up to Crosshair being something that most Bad Batch Stans don’t want.
Crosshair as the traitor
So I know I talked about this in my last trailer analysis and I said this was very unlikely. But uhhhh now with this trailer I'm 70% sure Crosshair will betray the Bad Batch. Now the reason why I said Crosshair wouldn’t betray the Bad Batch was because the Purge trooper and Crosshair just didn’t have things that lined up. But now with this new trailer I am pretty worried for our boy Crosshair.
This is the ONLY scene we get of Omega and Crosshair together. Any other scenes with Omega and the Bad Batch Crosshair is nowhere in sight.
I literally called this when I wrote about my predictions about the Bad Batch series. Where I wrote two paths. One where Crosshair was not the traitor and stays with the bad batch and one if Crosshair was the traitor (I censor the right since it had my actual name since I did the bad batch analysis during school)
And 1:19 seems to likely prove my Crosshair is the traitor snippet I did. All the batchers + omega are running through what seems to be like the late night halls of Kamino. Who knew Echo would be following his brother’s footsteps.
Again Crosshair isn’t here
… or maybe he might be hiding him behind Hunter to give us anxiety about what happened to Crosshair. But if Crosshair is gone then they need a new sniper to fill in his role...
Omega
We are first introduced to a new character who is called “omega”. Now who is Omega? Well we don’t know this is the first we EVER got to see them anywhere. Now when I first saw Omega I immediately thought of Satine’s Mandalore. We are not talking about the houses and clans (like house Wren). We’re talking about Satine’s Mandalorians (the pacifist) in which when we see her people in the clone wars they are normally pale with light colored eyes. Omega almost fits that but without the bright blue eyes. Another thing is that Omega kinda sounds like they have a Satine Mandalorian accent. As I was listening to Omega speak I was comparing it to Korkie and his friends and Omega lowkey sounds like Korkie’s friends but that’s probably a really big reach.
This is where I think if Crosshair betrays the Bad Batch this is where Omega would come in and take Crosshair’s role as sniper. We don’t know how good Omega is but with Hunter’s heightened sense his sight might be just as good to teach Omega to work with a bow and arrow
The Explosion
Now we have an explanation for the explosion we saw in the last trailer. It was definitely the bad batch and now we know it was part of the thrusters from a broken Venator Star Destroyer. Since now we got more context to that explosion, I believe that this will be on Bracca where maybe MAYBE we might see a young ginger Cal Kestis.
Rex
*breaths in*
REX I MISSED YOU SO MUCH
I’m so happy Rex and Echo are going to a reunion. I really hope Rex and Echo have a moment where Rex completely vents to Echo about everything that happened. Like Umbara, how much Five’s death took a toll on him, and when he left Jesse and his brothers during order 66. It would be really interesting to see if Rex has some sort of survivor's guilt. I know we see a little bit in Season 7 when he’s talking to Cody about the Domino squad but after order 66 I think it would be nice to dwell onto a little more.
Another thing I really hope we get to see how Rex meets up with Wolffe and Gregor.
AT-ET Walker
We get a couple of scenes here of the AT-ET but here look at this. The republic symbol and the red paint is completely removed, it’s completely bare (which is so boring). Another thing is that the AT-ET are completely cutting across a group of people, these could be protestors of something that we yet not know of.
It seems like Hunter and Tech snuck into and AT-ET, now the next scene we get is an AT-ET blowing up another AT-ET. There are two possibilities on who shot at the AT-ET, one could be the Bad Batch themselves shooting at the other AT-ET or two it could be the Empire shooting at the Bad Batch stolen AT-ET
Saw Gerra
It’s really nice to see Saw Gerra, we have seen him in 5 star wars projects (Clone wars, Rogue one, Rebels, Jedi Fallen Order, and now Bad Batch). Since this is the beginning of the Empire we get that small time between Clone wars and Jedi: Fallen Order to see what Saw was up to.
Fennec Shand
My wifey, I love her so much. But I did get something wrong and right with Fennec Shand in my last analysis.
First of all the explosion we see with Fennec Shand is NOT connected to the factory arc but instead connected to Hunter saving the kid.
But the thing I did get right was that one scene where Fennec was holding a gun out. That fog is from a fight and Fennec and her opponent are at a standstill.
One thing new about Fennec is that she had a Kid dangling off her speeder. First of all that’s not safe at all and 2 why does Fennec have a Kid with her and then why does Hunter have the child in the next scene?
Small theory but this kid might be just like Omega that escaped. Fennec is sent out to retrieve the kid but Hunter is like “not on my watch” and takes the kid. Fennec looks shocked that Hunter interferes with her job and looks ANGY.
Or this kid might be just some random kid that Fennec took.
Now a recurring segment called Cool things I saw on the Trailer
Just any scenes from the training scene with Wrecker is just cool and I’m like yes sir go off.
I swear every scene with Wrecker is a joy to see. He just brightens my day all the time
Bad Batch are taking notes from Waxer and Boil about adopting kids during war times.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This segment was short due to most of the trailer being analyzed and not much random spread out scenes.
And that’s that! Thank you all who read this far, I hope I was able to make this clear enough for you all to understand. If there’s anything else you saw in the Trailer that I miss I would love for you to comment about it! I think i’m going to do a countdown for Bad Batch, idk let’s see how I keep this up.

Battered and Bruised: Chapter I
(Un)friendly Encounters
Summary: It’s two years after the Clone Wars ended with the fall of the Jedi Order. As the First Sister, it is your duty to hunt down the Jedi that remain in the galaxy after The Purge. On what you believe is just another ordinary mission, you encounter your former best friend, Obi-Wan Kenobi and memories of your past come flooding back. After believing that he betrayed you and left you to die, will you kill him to get your revenge? Or will your feelings for him rekindle under unexpected circumstances?
Pairing: Inquisitor!Reader x Obi-Wan Kenobi
Word Count: 3,129
Warnings: some violence. decapitation. death. negative thoughts. (reader is v sad)
Note: Hi everyone! This is my first SW fic, so go easy on me! Feedback would be very helpful as I go on with this series! :) I’ve been wanting some more Obi content right after Order 66 lately, so I decided to make it come to life. Reader is an inquisitor, so beware of slow burn, untold feelings, and a bit of angst! Let me know what you think and if you would like to be tagged! Enjoy!
The heat from the twin suns of Tatooine radiates off your black attire as you hop out of the top of your TIE fighter. You jump off your ship and when you land, the sand around you dusts up towards your eyes, but your helmet protects your face.
You hate this planet. There is nothing about it to like. It’s barren, hot, and full of uncivilized scum who’d do anything for credits. The last time you were here, you came as a Jedi Master at the start of the Clone Wars to negotiate for safe passage for Republic ships through the Outer Rim Territories.
Sighing internally, you make a mental note to make this visit quick. With your cape flowing behind you, you make your way over to the entrance of Jabba’s Palace. This time, not as a Jedi Master, but as the First Sister instead.
One of Jabba’s droids waits for you at the entrance of the palace. You give it the password and it accepts it, making a high-pitched beep sound. Waiting patiently, you wait for the door to open, but it doesn’t quite yet.
“No weapons allowed in the throne room.” It says, voice monotone. “The door will not open and you will not be permitted to enter until your weapons are given to me.”
You grudgingly call both of your sabers to your gloved hands with the Force and place them in the tray that flaps out of the droid’s rusting torso. “If I so much as see a scratch on them by the time we’re done here, I’ll throw you in an incinerator myself.”
“No need for threats, Inquisitor. They will be right here the whole time.” The droid says, opening the door and wheeling away from you. “Follow me.”
The throne room has not changed since your last visit. It’s still as grimy and dreadful as you remember. You didn’t think it was possible for Jabba to look even more slimy and disgusting, but here he is, more than surpassing your expectations.
He couldn’t even bother to be awake for your arrival? Disgraceful.
“Jabba! Glad to see that you are excited to be in my presence.” You state, sarcasm oozing from your words. You move to stand in the center of the room and all eyes fall on you.
He awakens suddenly and stares at you with his big, grotesque eyes. He slurs out a jumble of words you don’t understand and you wait for his protocol droid to translate, but a man to the right of Jabba does instead.
“To what do we owe the pleasure, Inquisitor?” The man says smoothly, narrowing his eyes at you.
“I came here to speak with Jabba. Who are you?”
“I am Plin Fazabar, one of Jabba’s negotiators.” He says with a smirk. “It’s quite rude to have a conversation with a helmet on, don’t you think? Why don’t you take it off and let us see if the rumors of the First Sister’s beauty are true.”
“I don’t have time for this.” You say, struggling to hold back the annoyance in your tone. “You reached out to the Imperial Inquisition to make a trade for intel on the whereabouts of a Jedi survivor. I’ve come for that intel. Why don’t we make this trade swift, yeah?”
“Oh, don’t be hasty, Inquisitor. What’s the rush? You’re not enjoying this quality time together?” Jabba’s droid translates while the Hutt chuckles.
“Are you afraid of being alone in a room full of crime lords and bounty hunters?” Fazabar adds, outwardly mocking you. You exhibit restraint to kill him right then and there.
“Afraid of what I may do if you don’t give me what I want, yes. Slightly.”
Fazabar hums and crosses his arms. “And how much would you pay for this information?”
“We agreed on 8,000 credits. The Empire will pay you generously.”
The tattooed man looks at Jabba before he nods. “Yes, yes.” He sighs before continuing. “There have been whispers of a hooded man in a cloak that looks eerily familiar to one a Jedi would wear. He was last seen at a cantina in Mos Eisley, where there are rumors of… a bit of an incident with a blue-colored laser sword.
Your fists clench with anger and your jaw tenses before you speak up.
“You mean to tell me that I came all this way, to a planet full of nothing, for rumors?”
“You should be thankful we gave you the information before we received our payment. Perhaps we should charge you double if you are not going to be grateful for our offering.” Fazabar walks over to the droid who holds your weapons. Your eyes follow his every step.
“Now, I know you most likely did not come prepared with 16,000 credits, but I’ll tell you what. Jabba and I are going to cut you a deal, aren’t we Jabba?” The Hutt grunts in agreement and the creatures that surround him laugh. “Why don’t we keep your lightsabers as a fair bargain and call it a day. They would more than cover the cost: military grade, custom durite metal… These are unlike any other Inquisitor saber I’ve seen or heard of. I’m sure they are worth a fortune. Tell me, Inquisitor. How many Jedi have you killed with these blades?”
Fazabar picks up one of your sabers and runs his fingers over the hilt lightly. You feel your anger well up inside you.
You narrow your eyes and lick your lips, looking around the room before your piercing gaze settles on the man. “21.”
“Well, that is an incredible feat! Maybe the lightsabers are much too sentimental for you to trade. I’m sure we can work out a different type of payment. One that would involve a bed and the absence of your helmet.”
He can’t see your expression behind the mask of your helmet, but if looks could kill, he’d already be 10 feet under.
Plin sends you a dark, twisted smile but before he can get another word out, you use the Force to pull him towards you by his throat, choking him. Simultaneously, you call the lightsaber he holds to your right hand. Releasing your Force hold on his throat, you allow him to breathe again and roughly grab Fazabar’s shoulder to make him turn and face Jabba while you ignite your red blade and bring it up to his throat.
The room goes silent and the bounty hunters that were lurking around earlier raise their blasters and point them in your direction. At this point, Fazabar’s demeanor has completely changed. You can’t see his face, but you can feel the fear radiating off of him.
Not caring about the blasters trained on you, you lean forward to murmur in Fazabar’s ear. “You didn’t really mean any of that, did you?”
Suddenly, Jabba starts to laugh and your eyes snap over to him over the man’s shoulder.
“What’s so funny, Jabba?” You ask darkly. “Did I miss a joke?”
The protocol droid translates what he says. “Surely, you’re not stupid enough to kill him in a room full of bounty hunters.”
“Surely, you’re not ignorant enough to try and scam an Imperial Inquisitor.” You spit, glaring at him.
Without tearing your eyes from Jabba, you push Fazabar into the red blade of your lightsaber, decapitating the man in a smooth, swift motion.
Gasps can be heard around the room and the bounty hunters tense up, waiting for Jabba to make the call to shoot. Their fingers itch to pull their triggers, but the call doesn’t come.
You call your second saber to you, and clip it to your belt. Keeping the other saber ignited, you pull out a sack of credits and throw it to the translator droid.
“This is only half of the original amount!”
Keeping your attention around you, you make sure you’re able to defend yourself at any moment. You begin to walk out of the room. Before you exit, you state, “You’ll get the other half when I kill the Jedi.”
And with that, you take your leave.
Jabba yells in anger, garbling something.
The translator droid says, “Initiate protocol 757.”
The bounty hunters in the room nod. One of them presses a transmitter on his wrist.
__________________
You’ve got to give it to Fazabar. The intel he gave you is accurate. There is a Jedi in Mos Eisley… you could feel it. His presence in the Force is faint, but it’s there. Something about it feels familiar, but you can’t quite put your finger on it.
You’ve been tailing the Jedi through Mos Eisley, so when he gets in his rusty, run-down speeder and travels to a scrap yard on the edge of the port city, you follow at a distance. Silently, you watch the cloaked man hop out of his speeder from the top of a building nearby. As he walks towards the scrap yard, he takes a second to pause and check his surroundings.
The twin suns hang low in the sky as you wait for him to move on. You jump down from the building when he’s a good distance away and continue to tail him through the scrap yard as he looks for spare parts. You assume they are for his speeder since it looks like it’s about to break down at any moment.
As you get closer to the Jedi, his force signature grows stronger, but you can tell that he’s trying to conceal his presence as much as possible. He must have been a Jedi Knight or Master, judging from his ability to do this.
You patiently wait for the right moment to strike as you hide behind an old wrecked LAAT Gunship.
Suddenly, you feel a whoosh of emotions come over you as the concealed Force presence now intoxicates you. Your breath catches in your throat and you close your eyes as you struggle to push back your feelings as quickly as possible.
Flashbacks of your past flood your mind, overwhelming you. Feelings of pain, betrayal, laughter, sadness, and love all fill your senses at the same time, overwhelming you. Voices in your head begin to overlap.
“Master Y/L/N and I will be able to handle Grievous. We make a great team.”
“I see you decided to take a page out of Anakin’s book. That was reckless, Y/N! You could have gotten yourself killed.”
“You and me on a mission together again, Kenobi? I’m starting to think you’re swaying the council just to get a little more quality time with me.”
“Y/N! I’ve got you. Grab my other hand. No!”
Your eyes snap open and you take a deep breath.
“Obi-Wan.” You whisper to yourself.
You don’t let yourself dwell on your past for too long. Your fists clench when you’re reminded of what Obi-Wan and the Jedi Order did to get you to the point where you are today. They are traitors, the lot of them. And Obi-Wan is no different, as much as you once wanted to believe he was.
You hear boots hitting the dirt from a distance and a voice brings you back to reality.
The Jedi lowers his hood and shouts out, “Reveal yourself. I’m afraid you are not as stealthy as you think you are.”
You finally step out from the shadows and Obi-Wan’s eyes watch you, studying your every move.
He hasn’t changed a bit. Save for his slightly longer hair and beard, he looks exactly the same since you last saw him. When he let you fall to your presumed death. He’s still as handsome as you remember, but The Purge hadn’t done him any good. You can see the deep sadness in his eyes and you know by looking into them that he barely rests.
“Obi-Wan Kenobi.” You drawl, your helmet distorting your voice slightly. “You haven’t changed since our last encounter.”
He looks at you wearily before he cocks his head. “I’m quite embarrassed. I don’t seem to recall your name, how rude of me. Remind me of who you are again?”
So his wit surely is still intact.
He removes his cloak, revealing his robes and lightsaber hilt attached to his belt. You wonder when he used it last. You take a few steps closer to him, but keep your distance.
“They call me the First Sister. I’m the first of my kind, trained in the ways of the Dark Side by Lord Sidious and your fallen apprentice.” You state and you two circle around each other. “My Sisters and Brothers answer to me.”
Sadness flashes in Obi-Wan’s eyes at the mention of Anakin. “So, the rumors about the Imperial Jedi hunters are true, I presume.”
“They are indeed.” You chuckle darkly. “You had to have known you’d encounter one eventually, Master Kenobi. I sincerely hope, for your sake, that your lightsaber skills are still sharp.”
“I’m afraid you never answered my question. Who are you and why do you speak to me like you know me?”
You know the time to reveal yourself has come. Your hands reach up to take hold of your helmet and you pull it off slowly.
Obi-Wan watches with curiosity and as your face is revealed, inch by inch, his expression shifts to one of shock and heartbreak.
“Y/N…” He whispers and his body freezes, tensing up. “I thought you were dead.”
You smirk at him. “In a way, I am. Y/N Y/L/N, the Jedi Master who was loyal to the Order was weak and I replaced her with someone who is stronger and more powerful than she could ever be.”
He starts to shake his head slowly and the wind blows a tuft of his auburn hair to his forehead. “No… no, I watched you die on Utapau. You were shot and you fell to your death.”
“Believe what you want, Kenobi, but it’s not going to change the fact that you turned away your apprentice and your best friend. Nothing will change that!” Two years of pent up anger and hate flood through your system and fuel your every move.
Noticing your increasing aggression towards him, his eyes widen. “Let us talk about this. This is not who you are, Y/N.”
You laugh humorlessly. “Always the negotiator.”
You call your lightsabers to your hands and ignite them, the red light from the blades illuminating your face.
“Don’t do this, Y/N.” Obi-Wan begs, his blue eyes plead with yours. “Please. I do not wish to fight you.”
“Then this will be easy.”
You get into your fighting stance, your eyes not leaving his figure.
“You leave me no choice.” Obi-Wan says, broken and defeated. He unclips his saber from his belt and illuminates it.
You are the first to strike and both of your sabers strike against Kenobi’s. Blue and red clash together as you two move with grace and precision, an equal match for each other. You always were.
The power dynamic shifts back and forth, but you can tell that Obi-Wan is holding back.
“Why do you hold back, Kenobi? Are you afraid?” You spit out when your lightsabers are locked. “Don’t want to be responsible for my actual death?”
“You must know that I did everything I could to save you! I couldn’t stop Order 66 or you getting shot, but I still blame myself for it everyday!”
“You could have come back to see if I survived the fall, but you didn’t!” You push him back with the Force to create distance. “The Empire saved me instead!”
“I wanted to, but I couldn’t!” Obi-Wan yells, trying to plead his case. His beautiful blue eyes start to well up with tears. “I had to stop Anakin’s fall to the Dark Side. I did—”
You cut him off by reaching your hand out to Force choke him. His feet slightly lift off the ground as tears fill your eyes.
“Yeah? Well, how’d that work out for you?”
Obi-Wan is finally at your mercy after two years of wanting him to pay for what he did. After two years of resenting his existence and taking your anger out on killing other Jedi and force-sensitives. You were trained to use the anger you had towards him as power, and you wanted to cause him as much pain as he caused you, but...
As much as you want vengeance, you just… can’t find it in yourself to finish him. Your feelings for him before The Purge came flooding back the moment you saw him and now, it’s making you weak.
You release your hold on his throat and he drops to the ground, but Obi-Wan had already flung a large piece of scrap towards you in defense. You couldn’t move in time and it hits you full on, knocking you to the ground and your lightsabers out of your hands.
You groan in pain as you fade in and out of consciousness. Struggling profusely, you try to get up and wobble on your feet, but fail to stand straight. Falling back to the ground, you attempt to drag yourself towards one of your lightsabers. You have no idea where Kenobi went, but you know you need to defend yourself.
Suddenly, there is creaking heard from above you. The tall pile of scrap a short distance away is beginning to crumble. Kenobi must have removed the perfect amount of scrap to make the whole thing tumble down.
As the pile starts to loom over you, you know, deep down that you won’t be able to make it a safe distance away. You could barely stand. So, instead of running, you decide to drop to your knees and close your eyes, your lightsabers lying forgotten in the sand. You welcome the death that awaits you. Maybe you deserve it, after all. You’ve done so much wrong by killing Jedi and innocent force sensitives across the galaxy. Years of letting your fear, hate, and anger drive your actions are finally catching up to you. Maybe, just maybe, after enduring all the pain and suffering in your life, you’ll finally find peace. Maybe peace isn’t a lie.
You jolt at the feel of strong arms starting to drag your body across the sand. You open your eyes and stare at the night sky to try and register what’s going on. Turning, you see Obi-Wan’s face etched in pain and concern.
“No,” you mumble. “Don’t touch me.”
You try to pull away from him and drag your heels into the sand, but he stops to pick you up over his shoulder and runs to safety. Struggling against him, you finally wriggle free and drop to the ground on your hands and knees.
“What in the blazes do you think you’re doing? Are you trying to get kriffing killed?!” Kenobi yells as the scrap pile crashes behind you, old fuel tanks exploding from the impact. The orange light from the glow falls on both of your faces.
“Get away from me!” You yell, slow to get up. You didn’t have any energy in you to push him back with the Force. You're finally able to stand on your feet, swaying a bit as you try to catch your balance.
“Y/N, please let me—”
Obi-Wan suddenly stops talking as a light thump emits from behind him. His eyes droop closed as his body starts to go limp and fall forward.
Witnessing this, your eyes widen as you see a dart in the back of Kenobi’s neck. You quickly glance around (your head spinning) and with newfound adrenaline, you call Obi-Wan’s lightsaber to you for defense and press the emergency communicator on your left forearm. Milliseconds later, you feel a slight pinch in your neck and you quickly remove the sharp object, but it’s too late. You feel the effects of the dart begin to take their toll, numbing your body and making your vision go black.

Dan Watches: Star Wars: Episode II - Attack Of The Clones
Alright so I did this for Episode I which you can find here. So.. here’s my weird.. live reaction/note taking/whatever this is.. to Episode ll.
Alright so.. Once again the opening crawl is very politicy.
Count Dooku I think is mentioned for the first time in it and Padme becomes a Senator instead of a Queen in it.. which.. is weird.
The Naboo ships im not sure about.. I like the design but they seem too new and clean for being a prequel. That said they are owned by royalty so i can let it slide i guess.
“I guess i was wrong, there was no danger at all” *EXPLOSION* ffs Jeff, you couldn’t keep your mouth shut?
Nooooooo! Not.. Cordey? Omfg that was the worst death i’ve ever seen. Terribly acted.
Ayy it’s the Jedi avengers, no but like why is like i presume the whole or half the jedi council in this meeting? Shouldn’t they have like 1 representative?
Yooo thats live action Barriss Offee in the back... hey girrrll ;)
actually she’s probably supposed to be like 13 or somehting so i take that back.
I love just all the traffic flying by the window
YOOOO it’s my boy Jar Jar aka Darth Plagueis the Wise, don’t @ me.
Spice mines on the moon of Naboo you say? Isn’t Spice a drug but you mine for it.. there are drug miners in Star Wars.. good stuff.
That elevator would be terrifying.
Obiwan just like.. LOL I fell into a nest of Gundarks.. what a character I am. .. Love him.
Anakin like “I haven’t seen her since i was underaged master.. now i can get my fuck on!”
ALSO ITS BEEN 10 YEARS!?
“Ani you’ll always be that little boy” *Police sirens*
Anakins a little bitch
I think Jar Jar’s ears things are much longer.. but might just be me imagining things.
She’s not forgotten you, she said your name.. you creep.
Heeyy look it’s your custom star wars character Zam.
Obiwan is so sassy
Anakin is pretty creepy towards Padme.
Those worm things are naasty
Yo tbf that was some smooth lightsabering, they were like an inch tall and right up on Padme and he didnt even hurt her accidentally. I’d have killed her there.
Obiwan just fucking dives out the window like its nothing. Mad man.
Zam is the worst, instead of shooting Obiwan she shoots her own damn droid.
Damn it Anakin, he’s told you to stay away from power couplings.
Obiwan is just gonna be like “FFS ANAKIN!” this entire movie... well.. Saga.
I wonder how Jedi pick their robes because like some are very similar and then theres like a few that have darker leather stuff, it’s like there’s a jedi stylist or something.. Someone make that OC.
Amazing catch Obi.
So Obiwan is his real name but he goes by Ben later on and then Ben Solo is named after him but shouldn’t it be Obiwan Solo?
A changeling, she really is a custom character.
Yoo that Twilek wasn’t stupidly thin, I’m here for Thicc Twilek.
What species is Death Stick guy! I wanna know what he does with his life after he rethinks it
I hope it backfires and he’s like “Hey.. I could be doing so much more” and he ends up like the head of a crime family.
She didnt even change.. so much for changeling.
....she did when she died i take it back.
Damn the background Jedi are ugly.
I like how this shows that Palpatine has already begun manipulating Anakin.
Still dont understand why Jedi see the balance being a good thing when it’s leaning heavily towards the light side right now.
Anakin “IM READY FOR THE TRIALS!” .. you aint. You a moody bitch.
I like Padme’s dress.
Anakin just got warned to back down because he’s being a creep.
Omfg whats that rape face.
Dormy or whatever her name is, better actress than Padme.
Poncho! Cal approves.
WOO ITS DEX!
Jawa Juice? Ew.
Wtf is the Rishi maze?
Dex suddenly went sinister at the end, why?
Yess the librarian! She’s the best. I think she has a badass Order 66 story if im remembering correctly.
She’s very sure about her records though.. calm down lady.
“No droids” says the droid to the other droid.
So i presume the head of the Jedi Council is always the one who looks after the younglings.
Awwh the little babies and they’re all gonna get killed by Creep Vader.
Yoda is so soft, good dad figure. Best boy.
They elect queens on Naboo.. thats interesting.
I love the Jedi fighter look.
HOLD THE FUCK UP THEY DIDNT KNOW ABOUT KAMINO
THERE WAS A FUCKING LONG NECKY ALIEN ON THE JEDI COUNCIL IN EP 1..
.... some bullshit.
I should really look into Sifo Dyas
And Why are there not more Clones in Star Wars...
Other than like.. .. spoilers for.. you know what nevermind.
I DONT LIKE SAND! HE SAID THE THING
Anakin you creep
Why the fuck would Padme even lean in at all? He’s been nothing but a creep and she’s shown 0 interest in him at all so far.
The Camino people are pretty chill.
That was the first bit of actual chemistry between Padme and Anakin
Omfg the pear, fuck off.
Also forgot to comment but theres some clear like.. oohhhhhh moments im having with how order 66 got set up.
Has Padme had an outfit change again?
She’s got her sexy outfit on to turn him down.. seems right.
Her make up is a bit.. much
Sooo the force is weaker with the jedi because the light sides had it so good for so long that the force is trying to balance out and bring it back the other way, makes sense.
It’s actually his connection to his mom that brings him towards the darkside to start.. nice.
Padme trying to be inconspicuous is super conspicuous
I like that the droid said okey dokey.
YAAAAAAAAAAAAY WATTO
YAAAAY ANI SPEAKING HUTTESE
I love how Watto is happy to see Ani.
Watto doesn’t deserve the shitty life he ended up with.
Love some New Zealander up in my Star Wars.
Seismic charges have such good sound design.
Thats one hell of a missile.
Eyyyyy it’s c3p0 it’s amazing how much i’d forgot of this.
Tusken Raiders are dicks. They know sign language but they’re dicks.
Even Anakin is like “These are good people”, good. They’ll raise your son.
Is that general grevious’ voice?
What the fuck are these aliens
Awwwh noooo she waited just to die in her sons arms.
Tbf i’d go full darkside if someone tortured my mom.
You know what.. this Ani is nothing like the ones from the cartoon, he seems like less of a whiney bitch in the clone wars but we’ll see..
Cleg Lars’ hover chair is pretty dope.
Anakin got over hating Obi Wan real quick.
Even captured Obiwan is a sassy boy.
Jar Jar as badass as he is.. is basically putting the Sith Lord in charge.
So far if you dont know that palpatine is the Sith there isnt really anything obvious telling you which is pretty interesting.
Padme has had another outfit change, another iconic look.
And so behind the adventures of r2 and c3po
C3PO had a costume change, he’s been watching Padme.
The fake out they have you thinking Padme is covered in magma is pretty good
Okay then suddenly she loves him.
Also bye bye lightsaber
Genosians are pretty gross
In my head they were always the same as Toydarians for some reason
I like that bug monster, i remember killing them in one of the older battlefront games.. as maybe Aayla Sekura but maybe i made that up.
Anakin surely got the best one to fight. He basically tames it.
The fucking peck on the cheek, was that needed?
Droidekas are still cool as fuck.
Suddenly Jedi.
The Jedi that made it up to Dooku is terrible, he cant even reflect a few blaster blasts.
Well.. Jango lost his head.
The smile on that green jedi’s face is beautiful, what a beautiful alien man. Kit Fisto.
Obiwan is an icon.
Dooku is pretty reasonable all things considered.
Woo clones!
“Around the survivors, a perimiter, create.” Yoda.. just speak normally damnit.
Yoo what if Jaro Tapal shows up in the new Clone Wars cartoon season.. i’d lose my shit.
I like Dooku’s bike.
Anakin you dumb fuck.
I always thought Dooku’s curved lightsaber was weird.
Rey should have done this sick ass catching the lightning trick instead of the two lightsabers.
Jedi flips all over the place woop.
As obvious as it is that Palpatine is the hooded Sith, i feel like they dont show his full face because i feel like a little kid might not be able to tell.
I kinda like how it shows a bunch of clones (the basic start of the stormtrooper) and then star destroyers and it’s like.. heres where the empire started.
Aaaaaand they’re married? so yeah.. congrats Ani you creeped your way into being a husband.

Life Skills
Chapter 4 why me p>Staring out the window of the ghost his mind wondering He wondered if he deserved this new life. He wondered if he was worth being saved.
He didn’t know why he was thinking these things at this moment in time but ever since Kanan and the crew took him in his mind kept spinning.
“Why him?”
Why did he get to leave the street? what made him so special He could finally live like normal human being?
Why did he get to have people that cared for him again to the point where they got him to the hospital? To try and get him healthy again.
As he raised his hand to where the feeding tube was taped to his face. He was holding the IV bag on his lap pumping a type of formal down the long tube that went up his nose and down his throat in his stomachs.
His eye moved back to the window looking out to the vacuum of space. There was nothing out there at the moment Just darkness that stretches on forever.
He slowly breathed in and out slowly as his mind started to go back to the deep dark apart of his mind.
He could hear his own voice telling him that he didn’t deserve this he should have declined Kanan offer to become part of something bigger.
“Why him?”
The voice whispered in his mind it was just two little words. but each time he heard them it felt like a heavy weight was pushing down on him.
His mind flashed images of all the young kids that he had seen pass away over the years. Some died from starvation some from sickness.
Some…. As he felt a shiver run down his spine as he could see blood cover the ground a knife was plunged into young teens head laying dead on the ground. 9 year old of himself was hiding a couple of feet away in complete terror.
“Why him?”
The voice rung in his head as he was brought out of the flashback with a gasp. As he rested his hand on his chest trying to breathe. Each breath hurt.</p>
He felt like he was might throw up. As he tried to breathe in deep and slow. The feeling slowly fading but the memories still in the forefront of his mind.
“Why him?”
<p>curling his knees up to his chest to make himself as small as possible.
The force wrapped itself around him like shield him h from the world.
He didn’t know how long he had stayed like that.
Maybe until his mind finally seemed to be tired of torturing him of horrific images. As they slip into the back of his mind. To wait another night to struck again.
At this point Ezra just wanted to sleep he was bone tired. Slowly raising himself out of the seat he was in.
Remembering to take his medical equipment with him. Walking towards were all there sleeping quarters where.
Slipping inside trying to not wake Kanan who was sleeping on the top bunk.
He put his feeding bag on the IV pole that was beside his bed.</p>
“you know you can bring the pole with you, it has wheels for a reason.”
Kanan’s voice spoke over the dead still quietness of the night
Ezra jumped little surprised that Kanan was even up at all.
“What are you doing up?“Ezra spoke quietly not wanting to wake the other members of the crew.
“Couldn’t sleep Kanan said bluntly. ” there was disturbance in the force that woke me”
“What do you mean there was a disturbance” Ezra ask “ Are we going to be attacked”?
Ezra asked in alarm his mind now going in a hundred different directions.<
“No” Kanan quickly interrupted the teens little freak out. Sitting up in bed so he could look down at the teen in front of him.
“what I meant to say,” Kanan said slowly. “I sensed that something was bothering you so I woke up because of it”
“Oh” Ezra mumbling softly to himself not meeting his master eyes. “ I just couldn’t sleep nothing to be worried about.”
running his hand through hair.
“have never been outside of Lothal. So I got excited and wanted to look outside.” lying easily to his master.
“Ezra if you don’t start telling me what really going on that going to be a big problem.” Kanan interrupted the teen.
“What now you can sense am lying.” Ezra shot out angrily. “It none of your business whether I can’t sleep or not”. Rolling his eye in announce.
“Ezra am not your enemy” Kanan sad softly. “ I just need to know that everything is ok.”
Ezra wanted to scream at his master to tell him everything wasn’t ok but he couldn’t do it. He didn’t want to get too close. Because…
“Just forget it,” Ezra grumbled making his way to his bunk and snuggled under the blanket.
Kanan sighed “no Ezra I won’t for getting not this night.” As he hopped down off his bunk and turn around to face his student.
“Ezra I understand you don’t want to open up to us.” I get that it hard to be part of something when you been fighting by yourself for so long.“ Trust me, kid, I been there before.”
Ezra crossed his arms “ really you been there. You have been there when the empire came and wiped everything you have ever loved everything that you have ever known.” Doubt it.“
Turning his head away from Kanan.
No words were spoken Ezra thought that maybe Kanan had finally given up and dropped the subject all to gather.
“Oder 66 changed my life forever Ezra” Kanan spoke with sadness to his voice.
Ezra wanted to ask what the hell was order 66 but kept his mouth shut not wanting Kanan to think he could bait him like that.
“Oder 66 was a long time ago but it still so very fresh in my mind.” Kanan exampled. “ I know that the street are still very fresh in your mind Ezra. I know your mind is in term oil at this time so. I won’t push for now but I do want you to come and talk to me or at least start opening up.”
Ezra slowly turned to Kanan who was on his knees facing him with his eyes closed and his hand on his lap.
“what was Oder 66?” His curiosity getting the better of him.
He watch Kanan breath in and out deeply like even the name gave him great physical pain.
“you don’t have to tell me.” Ezra stammered.
“no Kanan said softly ” you do need to know its part of your Jedi heritage now you need to know what happened.“
Ezra nodded as he waited for Kanan to begin.
When Kanan spoke again his voice held little to no emotion.
"Oder 66 was called out to the clones to turn on the people and Jedi that they worked side by side with for years” I watched my own master get gunned down right in front of me.“
Ezra felt like the breath had been knocked out. "Am….” But Ezra didn’t know what words to use.
Kanan sighed “ Ezra when I told you I understood what it was like to have something taken away I meant it.
"So what happened did another Jedi take you in.” Ezra ask cocking his head to the side.
“No one took me in Ezra .” The words hung in the air. As the reality hit Ezra. “ you ran didn’t you”.
Kanan shook his head “ yes Ezra I ran and never look back I like you I lived on the street since I was 15 years old.”
“It was culture shock Ezra said sarcastically. Kanan smiled ” you could say that.“
<p>Ezra smiled back ” guess where both street kids huh”.
Kanan sigh and look up at his padawan “ suppose we are Ezra. I suppose we are saying the last sentence in his mind.”
Ezra bit his lip in anxiety but he had to know he needs to know. “Do you ever ask yourself why you lived and none else.”
Kanan heart broke for the words that Ezra spoke rang through his entire frame. He had those thought bum bared him ever since Oder 66.
Kanan slowly and gracefully got up from where he was sitting and sat down on Ezra bed.
“Have those thought been plaguing your mind since you came on the ship?” Questioning the teen.
Hoping to god that Ezra would say no but Ezra spoke the words “yes” in such quiet voice he almost missed it.
“That what’s been keeping you up hasn’t it. Hey that normal it called survivor guilt”.
Ezra felt Kanan squeeze his hand in comfort.
Ezra smiled up at his master
“Thanks Kanan for everything I really mean it”.
“you don’t have to ever say thank you to me or Hera for taking you in. Kanan quickly interjected.
Ezra squeezed his hand under neither Kanana as he leaned into the men. No other words were spoken that night.
But the comfort of master and padawan and the strength of the force slowly starting to help to build a bond between them.
