Loudclan was originally planned to be drawn as I played the game like most other clangen blogs... Then I got frustrated about how slow it was moving and played ahead. Just a little bit, nothing to worry about, only about 1000 moons. So this blog should be running for A WHILE. I also take pretty big liberties with the designs and events. I think it's more interesting that way! Also it's been several real life months since I started playing and some things I just... forgot. Or lost. Either way, it's fun to stretch my creative skills.

Updates are not going to be on a consistent schedule... ever. I'm a college student. I just don't have the time or energy.

The style is going to vary wildly. It's been years since I've consistently drawn cats and I wasn't ever really happy with the way I did it back then anyway. Come along for the ride with me! I'm just as surprised by what my hands create as you guys!

Overview:

Loudclan is set in a fictional location that is based on South Central Alaska. A group of rogues fled up the mountains to get away from the deep snows of the valleys at the beginning of a particularly harsh winter. The clan follows three "Leaders" in the form of the Leader, the Lead Healer, and the Lead Mediator. These leaders will each pass their position on to their oldest heir, the closest related member of their direct family. Issues regarding what happens when two cats have similar claims have yet to be sorted out by the clan, and may never be fully decided... *insert mysterious foreshadowing sounds*

(I probably won't be showing sprites though, just because I've played ahead so far and a not insignificant amount of them are just... gone. Lost to the ether. A little bit about me, you can call me "D"! I use any pronouns, I'm pretty ambivalent about them but the majority of people use she/her for me and I'm fine with that. I'm 20, I live most of the time in Alaska and part time on a ranch in Texas and I'm working on my BA in Elementary Education. I started reading Warriors in 2nd Grade and stopped in 6th Grade but the brain worms never die. If you know me in real life no you don't: It took me all of high school to kill the furry allegations I'm not going through that again. Oh, and my main blog is @restinginpiecesofpizza but warning, there's spoilers for Owlstar's family tree for like 8 generations posted on there.

Sorry this may be a bit of a ramble I talk a lot-

I’ve been wanting to try making a clangen comic for a while, since I’ve seen so many cool ones and I’ve tried out the game (admittedly just the web version) and had a lot of fun. I haven’t done so yet because I haven’t been into warrior cats in a while and it felt poser-ish, and ALSO I’m still getting back into the groove of drawing cats, but this blog is SO COOL and it’s making all the inspiration come back and AUGH!

So I may make a comic eventually, and if I do, thank you for the inspiration!!! That may mean restarting my clangen save, but I do reaaally like a few of the cats so idk…

I really really like your characters and art, it’s all very cool and I have so much admiration for people who can make a full story out of something so unpredictable. I stumbled across this blog at a pretty late moon and then read from the beginning, and when I realized mushroompaw wasn’t in the later moons I was really sad bc I knew she had to die… my favourite kbity…

But yeah just wanted to say your stuff is very cool! Sorry for dumping 3 paragraphs in your inbox 😭

It is just straight up them sneaking off to places they shouldn't just to search for Cinnamonpaw :'] They felt so bad about their own percieved failure to protect him that they were still actively searching for him for a good year after he was lost </3

Nope, they don't know anything about what Mousegrove did, and even if they had an inkling, I don't think they'd even want to entertain the thought. The only cat currently in the clan who knows for certain is Puddle, and maybe Crowstar has a twinge of doubt about it too.

What inspires your blog?

So many things !! So many that after the short answer I'm putting a split haha For the content itself, heavy inspiration from the fallout games and show, and for the object show genre in general! For the creation of it, the many many other clangen blogs out there !

The clangen blogs that inspire me are: (When clicking links, general warning for violence, animal death, etc. Warning for uncanny/horror aspects for mourningsbane in particularly !) -Fog and the Frost was the first clangen comic I found. I had been drawing my clangen characters when I played all the time, but this is what introduced me to the concept of the comic ! I'm not sure if it will continue but the story is so interesting

-Other (warriors) clangen blogs I think are amazing and inspire me are (in no order) Glitterclan , Mourningsbane , Circusclan, Dewclan , Fallenclan , gray-thistleclan and so so many more, I am following an ungodly amount of comics rn, I'm overdue for posting some more little fanart pieces for some blogs on my other clangen account -Clangen blogs that inspired me to step outside of doing cats include some I've seen doing slug cats and dragons, but I can't find them atm -Other objectgen blogs ! Most of them have noted me as an inspiration but it goes both ways ! I love all the ones I've seen but I want to especially plug my friends @dimensional-oscgen and @the-aisles Object shows/OSC stuff that inspire me are: -Comic wise, the main object comic I'm reading is EFAR , I have also enjoyed Original Acronym and Object Elevation -Show wise, my favorite shows are BFDI/TPOT/etc, Inanimate Insanity, One, Paper Puppets Take 2, The Daily Object Show, The Nightly Manor, The Perfect Object Show and so many more Other inspirations: -Nuzlocke/Nuzlocke comics -My other interests ! What happened to QuietClan

Soooo it's been a while and like I've mentioned before, I haven't been posting because I've been busy, I figured I'd give a run down of what happened in QuietClan when I had all this free time. I did play well in to the 100's and my sketches go to about moon 102. Read under the cut, if you're curious but I also came on here to mention that I will be making a new Clangen blog. This time, I have a semi-planned story instead of just letting the RNG tell it. Not sure when I'll start it but I'll post a link when I do. So on to QuietClan:

Picking up where we left off, Rainbowpelt is pregnant, her partner was some random loner. The same moon, Nutella and Elmhare bring home an orphaned litter of kit. Rainbow gives birth to three kits and the same moon, a former kittypet named Luci Purr, renamed Purrpounce (remember her), joins the Clan with her five newborn kits. A two moons later, a rabid group of rogues bursts in to the nursery in the middle of the night. Rainbowpelt and most of the kits died in the ensuing fight. The nursery survivors are two of her kits, Hazelkit and Firkit (remember him), Purrpounce, and two of her kits: Kinkkit and Eggkit. Immediately after, a loner named Oriole joins with her three sons: Lizardkit, Firekit, and Sunkit.

After that kit boom, Hazelpaw is apprenticed to her aunt Minkeye, cheering Minkeye up quite a bit. Firpaw is apprenticed to grandpaw Nutella and Elmhare. Sunpaw falls out of a tree on his first day out and has an extremely delayed warrior ceremony but in the meantime, grows a close bond with Pondfox (also injured at the time), Elmhare, and Greenstar. Purrpounce broaches the idea of stricter patrols to Greenstar and the same moon, Minkeye, Bogtwist, and Hazelpaw are taken by twolegs. They all die outside the Clan.

Elmhare and Pondfox grow some impressively high romantic like for each other. Elmhare finds some more orphaned kits on patrol: Stormkit, Heartkit, and Acronkit. Soon after, Bitterkit and Bitekit are found by Nutella. Berrykit is also found by Purrpounce. Eggfeather, now a warrior, is very bubbly and air-headed and is the girl every cat around her age is attracted to. A couple moons later, Oriole and Greenstar become mates, just very randomly.

At moon 38, Elmhare and Stormpaw died in a timeskip, which I drew as a human with a crossbow. A few moons later, Greenstar and Lizardshimmer are taken by twolegs. Her extra lives are taken since she is no longer under StarClan's skies. Pondstar becomes leader, making Purrpounce her deputy on account of wanting a deputy that will question her. When Pondstar comes back, Purrpounce announces she's expecting kits with her friend, Sunlion. But only a few moons later, a pack of dogs attack the Clan. Pondstar loses all her lives protecting Sprigkit and Featherkit.

Purrstar names her son Kinkjump deputy, despite his nervous nature and not finishing Heartpaw's training, due to her getting taken by twolegs at 9 moons old. Sunlion stays in camp to watch over Featherkit as he fights yellowcough, but the kit succumbs to his illness at 5 moons old. Heartbounce finds their way back to camp but the moment of joy doesn't last, as Nutella is found dead by the FrondClan border later that moon. Sunlion dies of an infected dog bite the next moon. Purrstar is... unwell.

Purrstar declares war moon 54. Eggfeather has been dating Acronbreak but they disagree on when they would want kits now with this war. Of all Eggfeather's many romantic prospects, Acornbreak is the most likely at this point. On the same moon, Greenholly returns, glad to be home and reunite with Oriole but devastated to learn what happened to her friends and fellow founders. The same moon, she and Oriole adopt their daughters Hootkit, Claykit, and Russetkit. The war fizzles out only a few moons later with both Clans concerned for their own young kits.

A fire breaks out moon 59 and during it, Acornbreak dies shoving Purrstar out of the way of a large burning branch. Purrstar is devastated, she knew about how her daughter felt about Acornbreak, who was a strong, upstanding young warrior. The next moon, Bitterfur, a good friend of Purrstar's, and Sprigfang, her youngest son, die of yellowcough. Firjay was unable to treat them due to the fire burning away his herb stores and being too injured himself from a dog attack too look for more.

The clan notices that Greenholly gives more attention to Hootkit than her other kits after saving her from a hawk. All the clan either has a strong opinion or is desperate to get away from the gossip. A apprentice from FrondClan joined after the fire but Purrstar is always hostile to him and his mentor (a former kittypet named Flameblink) has to constantly interrupt. Flameblink was Sprigfang's former mentor though, and part of her hates him, trying to associate him with her son's death.

A loner named Dori joins with Agavekit, Ryekit, and Quickkit. On moon 63, Russetpaw died sneaking out of camp and stepping on an adder. Rubbing salt in Greenholly, Purrstar names Ficklepaw Ficklenudge. A few moons later, she and Oriole rescue the orphaned Waspkit and Oakkit from a fox, adopting the kits as their own.

Moon 71 is when Purrstar suddenly dips in to full dictator mode and every other moon, she'd snap at someone questioning her leadership. Purrstar would order someone to help her punish the questioning cat, either through coercion or getting someone in her inner circle to do it. Despite getting in to all these fights, Purrstar never lost a life from the ensuing injuries.

Among the injured parties is Purrstar's mate Stream, who dies from her claw wounds. Oriole dies of infection. Heartbounce continually challenged Purrstar. At one point, Purrstar tried to get Eggfeather to punish them, but she was easily defeated. While still injured, Purrstar ordered Eggfeather to attack Hoottiger (formerly in Purrstar's circle). Eggfeather becomes Firjay's mate after he defends her. Hoottiger is punished by Purrstar herself and dies of her wounds.

At this point, Greenholly looks to the stars, completely despondent. She's taken by twolegs the next moon and dies soon after. She resides in the outsider residence, having lost her faith in her ancestors. She finds other clanmates that died under Purrstar's rule here.

From this point on, QuietClan cats proceed to die constantly, among them being Firjay, Ficklenudge, Heartbounce, Firenettle, Kinkjump, and many, may others. The Clan is always at war, cats always choose violence on border patrols, there's not enough hunting patrols. Eggfeather has lost her bubbly personality. There's no medicine cat, her mate is gone, her friends are gone, the Clan is ruled by fear. Even when Purrstar appoints her deputy, Eggfeather doesn't find the strength to assassinate her mother. When Eggfeather retires, there are no young, able bodied cats to take her place. No one can hunt, everyone is injured. Slowly, the clan starves to death.

In the end, the only survivors are an ancient Flameblink and his three sons. Then, he too dies, leaving a newly named medicine cat and two apprentices. And this is the cyclical story of QuietClan: left on the brink of extinction by war, famine, and disease due to a bloodthirsty leader. The youngest are left to pick of the pieces. No one in any clan lives long enough to remember that this has happened before. New StarClan makes old StarClan's mistakes. They don't trust themselves, thus, the previous generation goes silent.

Would you ever give the username to the official blog if they asked? Of course, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Did you make these sprites? I've put the sprites together in a way that resembles the character but the actual sprites themselves were made by the people who've contributed to ClanGen.

Something in the sprites you've posted doesn't exist in my game! You're either using an outdated release of ClanGen or I've pulled something from the development builds that hasn't come to stable versions of the game yet.

I don't like how you made this character look... Sorry, the sprites are made to reflect my own vision of the characters. I may re-do characters exclusive to books I haven't read yet. A lot of my choices are based on impressions, so my vision might change. If your grievance is that I forgot to include an injury, please let me know! I reference the wiki so this shouldn't happen, but I'm always capable of making mistakes.

How do you make the sprites? I edit the save file of a single cat and use the "zoom-in" profile feature.

Can you make my OC? Warriors has a lot of characters, adding OCs onto my plate would be overwhelming if I'm being honest.

I've thought about doing designs based on rewrites I really enjoy as well. Is the blog dead? If I'm ever gone for a long time without notice it means I'm just taking a break for one reason or another. I'm very particular with my digital spaces and never silently abandon accounts for clarity. The Clangen

Trashclan is a clangen inspired comic. The story is based loosely on a run of the game, but some events have been shuffled around or ignored as I see fit

It's also about pigeons instead of cats and I've taken major liberties with the Warriors Lore (tm) because. Pigeons are not cats. Basically this is it's own thing, just warriors inspired... At what point is a clangen comic no longer a clangen comic? I dunno but I'm doing my darndest to find out I guess, lmao

There's also some important set changes because I'm a kiwi and I live in Aotearoa New Zealand! That's where this is set! I don't know what Britain looks like and I'm not researching it for this silly story! I've never seen a fox in my life. Snakes are literally illegal here.

This is my "chill out" project! Lower your expectations! Put that bar on the ground! Trashclan is popcorn, not a 5 star restaurant meal

I have a rough plan in my head after playing the game, but I only script a few moons ahead

Artstyle will be fast and simple or just whatever I want it to be, because this project is for funsies!

I'm grappling with the fact that at its core, the story was all RNG. Set-up and pay-off are added after the fact

Ok I need to tell the internet about this bc it's funny, and anyone who follows me will wonder what on EARTH I've been doing bc this is nothing like anything else I've done.

So me and my sister tend to reference Warrior Cats as a running joke despite neither of us having read the books. Bc of this, sometimes my socials will recommend me warrior cats content since i was like searching stuff up about it. Well today, tumblr shoved me a post suggested for me about this Clangen game. So of course I was like omg I need to play this it'll be funny. And now I need to tell you all about Rosethorn. (Under a cut bc it's a bit long)

So his story starts when he's still Rosepaw, Warrior Cats don't get their full name until they're done training. So I'd given him the 'Rose' part bc he had this weird pinkish coloring, and the paw part means he's a baby being trained.

What does baby Rosepaw do? He complains the clan's doctor doesn't do anything helpful. I was chronicling my adventure to my one friend who has actually read the books, so I called Rosepaw a little brat to her. Then I take him out training and he REFUSES TO LEARN.

So I'm like oh great he really is awful, even to his teacher. So when he finally got his full name, I chose 'thorn' for the second half bc he was such a pain. Newly named Rosethorn immediately marries Sandyfur who is a very nice girl, but my first thought was "SOMEBODY LOVES ROSETHORN???". Bc even grown up he's still doing stuff like this:

Time goes on, and on a patrol Rosethorn eats the food he was supposed to bring back to the group. Puddlesplash hates him for this and thinks the leader should be harsher on 'codebreakers' which sounds really harsh, but Puddlesplash is busy having a secret gay lover outside the clan so I don't think he should be complaining.

Despite being awful, turns out Rosethorn is actually a really great husband.

So apparently he's actually awful to everyone EXCEPT Sandyfur. For her, he is a wife guy. I was really hoping they'd have kittens bc I wanted to see if any would look pink like he does. But Rosethorn got his tail mangled by a fox and tragically died soon after. My doctors DID let a barely trained child do an amputation earlier, so maybe they just weren't working at their best. Poor Rosethorn paid the price.

Only myself and Sandyfur mourned him. RIP Rosethorn. You were the worst little guy.

And that's how I managed to get attached to one awful warrior cat despite having never read the book series.

They/them nb, ace/bi, Nearly 30 years old, aside from drawing i work in a crystal store and on a farm. When i was 12 i spent most of my time rping warrior cats on neopets dot com and arguing with people on the name rating boards, so many happy memories. im still very fond of these violent cat books.

This started as a blog for clangen stuff, i love clangen! But now i reblog and post other warriors content. I've read tPB, NP, PoT, and I must have read most or all of OotS but I kinda dont remember most of it.... I read VoS very recntly, and under very enjoyable circumstance. I've read some super editions, and and a lot of the graphic novels. I'm reading a Starless Clan as they relese the paperbacks. But i also will fully spoil myself and do not care about spoilers.

My favorite over all series is NP, my special skill is that I actually like traveling books. Parts of VoS made it touch on what I'd immagine my "ideal warriors" book to be. But it wasn't. I have been really really digging a starless clan tho.

Fav cats are: Jayfeather. Squirrelflight, Brightheart, Leafpool, Mothwing, every SkyClan cat with a silly name especially Bellaleaf, Yellowfang in tPB, Violetshine, Nightheart, Whitestorm, Longtail, Spottedleaf (headcannons), Scourge, Daisy, Alderheart, Briarlight, Leafstar, Tallstar, Sandstorm, Ravenpaw and Barley. Spotfur sounds cool. Sunbeam cool so far. Justice for Needletail forever.
