😭I already thought that the 1718 Nassau trial I’ve been researching was #girardcore but then it turns out that the ringleader of the pirates who got arrested was Scapegoat Mechanism’ed by Woodes Rogers so hard he literally got incorporated into a Bahamian festival as the surrogate victim
