chopper was born a loner, the runt of his litter, and was effectively left to die as a kit. hiriluk (rogue named blossom in this au) took him in alongside kureha (kittypet named witchy whos very friendly with the local rogues). blossom was killed by a rogue group protecting chopper, and witchy effectively took him in. when the rogue group became a threat to the kittypets in witchys area, chopper sought help from the nearby clan, who defeated the rogues. afterward, he joined the clan as a healer, since he’d been fascinated with medicine his entire life.

his clan name is antlerpaw/antlerbloom!
