How would Cat Noir and Purple Claws get along? I know they start making cat and tiger puns at each other.
They get along very well, too well.
Ladybug is going to be murdered for so many puns

Chat Noir: That's Prrrfect

Absolutely enchanting! Not only is this new book by Charles de Lint exquisitely illustrated by Charles Vess but the story takes the reader on an enchanting journey; as always, de Lint delivers a lyrical tale that satisfies on a deep, heart-felt level. All ages that enjoy "fairytales" (I'm in my 60's) will find this a delightful read. Just opening to the wonderful new-book smell, feeling the rich texture of the tree-friendly pages, seeing the breathtaking illustrations that bring nearly every page to life just adds to the experience of reading a magically told tale. It's a perfect example of why Mr. de Lint and Mr. Vess have such a loyal following--and why anyone who experience their art becomes a life-long fan! Go to Amazon
New folklore "New Folklore" may be a contradiction... but if it can happen, this is a great example. The book reads like a myth written down; it has some lessons, but they are created by the plot, not warping the plot, and are not at all cliche. Go to Amazon
I Love Charles de Lint This is a charming story prrrfect for younger readers, but well suited for readers of any age who love their words mixed with just the right bit of magic. He may startle, puzzle, or astound, but Mr. de Lint never disappoints! Go to Amazon
A Circle of Cats Expanded Several years ago, Charles de Lint wrote, and Charles Vess illustrated "A Circle of Cats." This expanded version came out in 2013. Unfortunately, it was released just after de Lint appeared at FaerieCon West in Seattle, but I was able to get it autographed by both him and Charles Vess at FaerieCon West in 2014. Go to Amazon
More is more, and better! This is the expanded version of "A Circle of Cats," and expands on the original in wonderful ways! The author added some 40,000 words to the story, and the artist added some 50 paintings, so it is altogether more of a very wonderful story! I purchased "A Circle of Cats" to share with my grandkids, and now I'll be buying a paper copy of "The Cats of Tanglewood Forest" to share as well! (I purchased the Kindle version today and finished it this evening - a very fun read!) Go to Amazon
Great read This will be a gift for my two granddaughters who still like to see pictures in a book. The illustrations are amazing. I enjoyed the book so much that I didn't want to put it down. The youngest won't be able to read the book by herself but I believe her parents will enjoy reading along with both them. I wanted a book that caught their interest with an adventure appropriate for a young reader and could still be enjoyed by all. I also wanted a book that promotes strong female characters. I feel that this is a book they will keep as they grow up. I found this book by accident and Go to Amazon
Five Stars This is gonna be good...! Go to Amazon
Charles de Lint is my favorite author, and all his stories are wonderful works ... Charles de Lint is my favorite author, and all his stories are wonderful works of art, whether written for children or adults. His faerie tales should be read in schools. The art work by Charles Vess is beautiful as well. Both are extremely talented and allow the reader to experience something new and different, an excellent place to visit. Go to Amazon
Enjoyed it but it's a great tale for grownups too Okay Five Stars Five Stars Five Stars Too dark, florid, and slow Lovely tale for all ages Disappointed. I'm beyond a clearly objective review as I love both Charles de Lint AND Charles Vess
