p100 masks and filters are. so fucking expensive wtf. I'm really lucky I can afford them at the moment but it's so fucked.

there are disposable masks that are cheaper and are allegedly better than n95s but they probably won't be as comfortable (or as effective) as a reusable one so :////// (oh yea buy 20x20x1 MERV 13 filters for ur box fans too if you can) you really don't want to get this stuff last minute/when the sun is already red.

so yea get whatever you can now esp if ur like. anywhere west of the rockies really but from what I've been reading so far abt the pnw um. most of WA is already august levels of dryness AND this is going to be the first el niño summer in years (el niño = hotter and drier for the pnw) so huge wildfires are guaranteed.

I mean. they pretty much are every year now but fr this summer is gonna be bad folks.
