I have so many thoughts abt Maruki it makes me feel fucking crazy but the one thing I’ll say is I do believe before the whole delusions of grandeur thing and aside from yoshizawa, he was a decently good therapist. Like yeah he’s a wet pathetic beast of a man obviously but I have so many thoughts about his therapy shit. Also literally all of the stuff he teaches joker saved my ass so many times. I love you futaba, you did not save me like he did with the sp regain holy shit

#I HAVE LIKE. actual reasons for my thoughts. and like I would absolutely write a longer post of them #both because I feel the need to defend him over things he does need defending over. and also because I’ve had therapy and shit and i-#also I’m an English literature maniac and have the reading comprehension of a god. (media studies student)#but also I think there’s too much bashing over his therapy skills because we don’t see how his therapy WORKS aside from the actualisation.#but he does give joker/Akira/Ren or whatever you want to call him. actual therapy after the research conversations #IDK! Idk. i think he’s a decent therapist. otherwise joker wouldn’t like. use the shit he teaches and what not #this is such a tricky thing 2 talk abt. because you cannot IGNORE the elephant in the room #but also he is a trained psychiatrist because otherwise you cannot be paid for counselling services #SHRUG #I’ll write a 10 page essay on this one day probably and then I’ll get rinsed on the internet abt it whatevarrrrr
