i really appreciate your apology and fully accept it! i figured you meant no harm -- i really do have the best followers and mutuals -- i just need to assert boundaries sometimes, you know? honestly, just going off anon is the best policy if you're gonna gently rib, because if you were, there's a chance we interact fairly regularly. i also have really bad anon experiences from a former fandom so it just gets me twitchy when something even vaguely potentially negative is anon. off anon is good too, because that way, i can also respond privately if you don't want the ask published and want to keep it btwn you and me.

and yeah, i think it can be tough to know how something's going to be received when it's being sent, and you took a chance! i can totally get the impulse to get the all clear though. it's nice to have that perspective to understand what was behind it.
