published comic artists who don't know anatomy (and refuse to learn it) are shaking hands with published authors who cannot write a compelling narrative/characters (and refuse to improve) and it pisses me off

#i don't understand why people fawn over and hand their money over to people who clearly don't care abt their craft #like do yourself a favor and read/view/interact with something that is actually moving in some way shape or form #mandatory OBV this doesn't include casual fanartists/fic writers who are just here for vibes and aren't making money #this is purely abt creators who not only intend to but DO profit off of mediocrity at best #do u not have pride in your work? do u not want to experience your full potential?#and they're always so fucking popular with fans who would defend them to death #meanwhile i look at some fanartists/fic writers who are so obscure in their fandoms with hardly any followers/clout to speak of #who create evocative masterpieces and constantly grow as creators #and they just get like. no recognition for it at all #hhh the world is unfair and no one knows how to engage with media anymore beyond tropes and imagining they're sucking off the characters GOD #fuckin. anyway
