I absolutely hate Salem's immortality portrayal, someone who's lived for centuries wouldn't act the way Salem does wether it be her outburst in v5 and her consistent anger towards Oz or her sanity still seeming relatively intact

She should either be too apathetic towards everything and too old and tired to care and/or too fixated on her suicide mission to the brink of insanity (not saying she can't pretend to care about her goons to manipulate them but we the viewers should see her cracking behind the scenes or at least her real personality), or maybe mix both

Bored, insane, broken etc just something to indicate that she's an immortal who's been there for hundreds of years, right now she's no different than any other person on remnant with the way she thinks and acts

Show how her immortality is such a horrible curse that's still affecting her to this day instead of having her be the smug villain that barely changed ever since she remarried Oz before they got divorced

Fanon Salem isn't better either, she still suffers the same problem even in fanfics
