You know what, there’s not a lot of discussion on this lately

To any young person in retail, if someone approaches you with an entrepreneurship job where you “get to be your own boss and set your own hours”, do not fucking humor them. They’re trying to recruit you into an MLM/pyramid scheme

#thinking back to when I was 19/20 and this happened to me #it sounded sketch as hell and the ppl who approached me dodged every question i asked #so nothing came from it. but I also had family members looking after me who helped me see what was happening #they purposefully target any vulnerable looking young person who seems impressionable enough to fall for it #this is ok to rb btw… i feel like any young impressionable 18 yr old or so would fall for this #setting your own hours and being your own boss sounds very appealing esp in this hellscape #so to anyone disillusioned by their 9-5 this sounds like a jackpot
