Zoevan HCs!! These exist in an Evan didn’t lie au because I don't feel like angst! - Zoe sometimes will draw on Evan’s arms/hands, and, when he still had his cast, she would draw on that too - Evan likes to braid Zoe’s hair, and he gets really good at it—he can do really complicated braids, and it relaxes Zoe a whole lot - At some point, they dye their hair some funky color together. Evan is self conscious about it, but Zoe tells him he looks “so hot”, and she rocks it and her confidence inspires him - Zoe thinks Evan is literally the cutest person on Earth and she tells him so all the time - Zoe has a Polaroid camera and she takes pictures of them constantly, and she hangs them up in her room (a whole section of her wall is just pictures of the two of them) - Evan has instagram pretty much only to brag about his girlfriend, and he gushes about her in the comments of literally all her posts - He doesn’t post on Instagram that often but when he does, Zoe definitely returns the favor - They love going places together! They’ve gone to basically every museum/aquarium/zoo within driving distance and they spend whole days there, seeing every exhibit and holding hands the whole time - They also go to parks! Ellison state park is their favorite just because of how familiar Evan is with it. Evan can and will talk the entire time they’re there about every single tree he sees and Zoe… is absolutely enamored with him, but also now knows more than she’d ever need to know about trees - Zoe’s a Girl Scout and has been since elementary school, and during the summer she spends most weeks as a counselor at a local day camp in the forest and she uses the tree facts she knows to impress all the kids, but if anyone asks she will readily brag that her super smart boyfriend taught her them all - They both love going camping, and the Murphy’s will take Evan on their family camping trips. Evan and Zoe are the only competent campers of the group. - Evan goes to every single performance that Zoe has, Jazz band or otherwise. He likes sitting in the very front and him being there always calms all of her nerves - Evan doesn’t have a car and doesn’t like driving, but Zoe is always willing to drive him places (any excuse to see him/get out of her house) - Zoe drives Evan home from school most days, and they usually go to her house for a while and do homework or just hang out for a while before she takes him home - When Zoe has band rehearsal, Evan stays after school through until rehearsal is over and he tells her how good she is at guitar after every rehearsal even if he couldn’t hear anything they were playing - Cynthia and Larry love Evan, and Heidi loves Zoe. They each eat dinner with each others family at least a couple times a month - Zoe loves spending time with Heidi, they like to drink tea and make fun of Evan out of love - They’re a gross PDA couple—always holding hands, and they’ll kiss hello and goodbye and it’s probably a little obnoxious but they don’t care because they’re just so in love - They do some of this (the driving home together and going places together) before they’re dating, but they start dating really fast - Zoe confesses- she accidentally said I love you and Evan looked so cute when he was flustered that she couldn’t help but kiss him - Zoe likes to wear Evan’s jackets, and will sometimes even borrows his shirts even though they don’t fit her right - Zoe writes little love songs to Evan all the time and they’re his favorite thing in the world In conclusion: they’re in love
