The three of them childhood friends until the death of one person caused one of them to completely change their morals and turn to a darker path (involving murder) while the other two being left behind to try and change the system by being part of it.

Diluc and Suguru both confronting Kaeya and Satoru (their closest companion) one day when they are almost adults and then leaving them behind. Kaeya + Jean and Satoru + Shoko helping take care of the next generation and giving them a childhood

And also all 6 of them pretty much being child soldiers??? Who let these teenagers do this type of work???

Individual similarities below

Kaeya Alberich and Satoru Gojo: blue and funky eyes which they cover twins! Canonically very pretty. They both use humor, being annoying, and flirting (and are fruity as heck) to deflect away their feelings and often act like they want to be the center of attention and love playing jokes and pranks. They take care of this crazy strong and powerful child who has parents are very strong and very morally questionable. They are mentoring/watching over them (not well they are both bad influences even if they make sure the kid doesn’t get hurt) and are trying their best to save the kids’ childhood/give them the one they never had. Got ditched by their bestie out of the blue who they were supposed to reach the top with :(

Diluc Ragnvindr and Satoru Geto: extremely noble and solid in their faith in the system they loyally work for until someone’s murder/death to happened right in front of them caused their beliefs to crumble. Then, they go on a murder spree in order to try and get revenge. They also used this dark/taboo magic to do so. Both are clearly a duo with the other guy and are each other’s closest friends but still chooses to leave them behind after all they have been through. Also have long hair pulled up!

Jean Gunnhilder and Shoko Ieiri: Tired and sleep deprived girlbosses. Frequently (and underservingly) ignored in order to favor the two guys in the group. Incredibly skilled healers who have mastered their craft. The more serious/practical of the bunch who needs a day to relax and 10 more hours of sleep. Honestly Queen behavior managing to stick around the other two and staying mostly sane. Also these girls have to stay inside more rather than be out there in the world like the guys are ( >:[ sexism /hj )

Also they all have first and last names! You wouldn’t think that’s something but surprisingly few genshin chars have last names
