y/n was home waiting for her girlfriend of 2 years to come home.

demi was always gone being that she was a very in demand wrestler under the name rhea ripley. she hardly ever gets off days and while its hard for them, she tried her beat to make her and y/n’s relationship as normal as possible.

y/n heard a car door which made the dogs jump up and start barking knowing that their mom was home.

“y/n, darling? i’m home.” she called out to me.

“BABY!!!” y/n said running and jumping into demi’s arms with a smile.

“someone’s eager.” demi joked with a giggle.

“shut up i missed you.” she said with her legs still wrapped around demi’s waist and a small pout.

“i missed you too, love.” she said pulling her into a kiss.

y/n got down off demi and helped her bring her bags upstairs.

“ready for your weekend off?” y/n asked her with a wide tooth smile.

“more than you know. i’m so ready for it to just be us for the next couple of days.” she said pulling y/n into her body by her waist.

y/n wrapped her arms around demi’s neck before looking up into her eyes, “i love you, dems.”

demi leaned down slightly and kissed her girlfriend’s lips.

“i love you so much more, darling” she said with a smile that poured love out.

“how about we run you a bubble bath?” y/n asked still looking up at demi.

“only if you’re joining.” she said with a smirk.

y/n playfully rolls her eyes as she walks away and goes to run demi’s bath water.

“dems?” she calls out once it’s done.

“yeah?” she asks from their shared bedroom.

“your water’s done, baby.”

demi walked into the bathroom with a smile on her face, “seriously join me.. let’s relax together.”

“okay, fine.. i’ll join you.” y/n said giving in not being able to tell demi no.

they both get undressed before demi gets in then y/n leaning her body against the front of demi.

“god, how i missed this..” she said leaning down to kiss y/n’s neck.

demi would feel bad about always being gone and not being there for times like this. even though y/n would come to meet her out on the road and spend time with her, it just didn’t feel the same as being home and sharing intimate times like this with her. she knew that this was her job, but, she didn’t want to lose y/n. this was her favorite person and she knew she wanted to spend the rest of her life with her.

“demi? are you okay? you seem out of it?” y/n asked a bit concerned.

“its nothing really, babe.” she tried trying to move passed the subject and putting on a smile that y/n saw clean through.

“baby, i know you better than that don’t lie to me. what’s wrong?” she turning to look at demi this time.

“i just.. i feel bad for always being gone. yes, it’s my job and i don’t control my schedule, but, that doesn’t stop me from feeling bad. i just wish i could stay home with you and our dogs sometimes. i love my job and i love entertaining don’t get me wrong, but, you’re my life now. i don’t want to lose the woman i want to spend forever with because i’m almost never home.” she says looking down with guilt written all over her face.

y/n took a deep breath before lifting demi’s head with her finger, “hey, look at me..”

demi lifted her head with sad eyes as she looked into y/n’s eyes.

“you’re not going to lose me, okay? i knew what i was getting myself into the moment we went out on our first date. i knew you would be the person i would want to spend the rest of my life with and i knew you were a busy woman.. i knew it came with baggage and i’m okay with that. i love you so much and i promise you i am not going absolutely anywhere.” she said with a smile and so much sincerity and love pouring from her every word and the look in her eyes.

demi had tears welling up in her eyes for second and as they slipped down her face, y/n kissed them away making her smile.

“i love you too.. i don’t deserve you.” she said looking at her everything with a soft smile.

“oh, honey, you deserve all the good in the world.” y/n said planting a kiss on her girlfriend’s lips.

with that being said they bathed each other before getting out of the bath and finishing up their night routine.

“we should definitely order take out because i know neither one of us feels like cooking.” she told demi with a small laugh to which demi agreed.

they agreed on just getting a pizza or 2 and decided to head downstairs to cuddle and watch while awaiting their pizza.

“why don’t we restart orange is the new black for like the fifth time?” demi asked with a snort knowing y/n loved that show.

“you know me so well.” she said positioning herself between demi’s legs as she laid down on her.

she loved these moments with demi.

demi put the show on and they watched laughing when nicky said something funny.

the door bell rang indicating that the pizza was there so y/n got up groaning as she did so at the loss of contact before reaching the door and paying for the pizza.

she walked back to demi and they ate with random jokes occasionally and laughing at the show.

“still into nicky i see.” demi said as she looked over at y/n who was basically swooning over nicky.

“like that she ever gonna stop.” she said playfully rolling her eyes.

“i missed you, y/n.” she says serious for a moment.

“i missed you too, dems.”

“come out on the road with me when i leave, please?” she asked grabbing y/n’s hand with a bit if a pleading look on her face.

y/n nodded her head with a smile, “okay.”

they were now up in their bedroom talking about nothing and everything.

“i’m so glad that you’re mine.” demi says with a smile on her face as she kisses y/n’s head.

y/n couldn’t help but smile and squeeze demi’s body a little more.

she couldn’t be more content or more happy with her life than she was in this moment. she loved this woman so deeply and the best part was that demi loved her back. this was the woman she wanted a life with.. to start a family with.

“darling, i love you more than all the stars in the night sky.” she said with a smile looking demi dead in the eye.

“my life, mi vida, la mia vita..” demi said with a small smile.
