Danny answered the phone. I knew that only 4 people and 2 ghosts in the entire multiverse had this number (thanks Tuker and Tecnus, who managed to make a secure satellite signal for the Fenton phones… now named phantoms).

And taking into account that 3 of the 4 people were with him at that moment, Danny took the phone out from between his ribs, smiling when he saw that the name “mirror gremling” was shining on the screen.

Tuker, Sam and Jazz felt the moment when the mood changed from jovial to serious.

Green Arrow couldn't let that kind of situation go. It was true that the young man had an ironic resemblance to the other halfa, and it didn't help that they sometimes referred to themselves as father and daughter, apart from cousins ​​and brothers.

What was the real relationship? If it turned out to be a paternal relationship, he would possibly have to apply a batman and adopt the girl.

His parental instincts were screaming at him that the young man was not doing a very good job.

However, any type of confrontation that I wanted to take a back seat at the dawn of the 4th day.

Although it was somewhat light, you could tell that Danny Phantom was tired. His ghostly glow was diminished and the eyes did not have that vitality that he had identified as part of the young ghost's natural aura. Green Arrow could observe the way the boy was increasingly showing symptoms of a bad flu, while he tried to be with his cousin, making sure she was fully recovered.

On the 7th day he decided to approach the boy to force him to rest, and that was when he heard the murmur.

The obsessions of the two were contradictory, Danny couldn't not… he shouldn't be away for long from what he protects, from his city. And Danni couldn't stay more than 10 days in a fixed place.

The halfa only trusted her brother, who, even if he wanted to defend her from everything, could not follow her to the end of the world.

The only way for the two of them was to trust in each other's abilities to take care of themselves and get out of trouble on their own. Both could help in life or death situations, but other than that…

The love they had for each other was strong enough to risk their own lives just to be together for a while.

Danny had explained the signs and symptoms of obsessional neglect stabilization.

Shot Through The Heart

So what if Danny and Ellie’s obsessions literally contradict each other? Like Danny’s obsession is protection which means he feels compelled to stay in one place (Amity) and it might actually hurt to be away for too long. While Dani’s obsession is freedom so it would actually hurt her more to stay in one place for too long. And because of this, even if they care for each other they can never truly spend too long together before their obsessions force them to split apart. So Dani might need help and Danny will leave Amity to help her but can’t stay long before he’s forced back. And Dani might visit but can’t spend too long before she has to leave.

So If this is DPxDC Dani could end up injured and with one of the heroes (maybe the arrows for a change pace) and she explains that there are three halfas. One who is an immediate danger to her, and the other being the only person she truly trusts. Phantom comes to save her and help her but after the danger has passed and Dani is recovering, the heroes notice that he seems to be struggling with something, getting antsy, and almost seeming to get sicker by the day, and they find out about the obsessions. The only other person who cares for this young ghost…and they physically can’t be near each other for long.
