nothing like watching a thing you love get adapted into a thing you like much less. not to be a crusty old man about it but you whipersnappers just don't get it...

#this is mostly about trigun and star trek lmfao #the trick is to separate them in your brain #like as completely separate entities #bc otherwise you will constantly be comparing them and the new one can't stand on its own merit #or fall for the lack thereof lol #but then the evil old man part of me is like everyone thinks the new thing is so good.... they just don't know....
