this is the 593755th time I've used this image. but as said before... a few things for my characterization of mirai!! aka haruka's victim.

now ofc i have to say this is pre-T3. so if something in t3 contradicts stuff, you can kill me instantly

that being said i also think mirai was also like. highly praised by the sakurais. she's everything haruka failed at, so ofc she ended up being THE victim. not to mention mirai probably had a ton of... idk if I'd say expectations? but like. definitely there were more hopes for her

so the first thing that ik a lot of ppl are gonna disagree with is mirai being a sibling to haruka. i never really saw her as a sibling and more like a childhood friend???

also she's as old as haruka. come on guys, there's plenty of stuff that implies she's the victim that got haruka in milgram to begin with she's not 9 😭😭

I felt uneasy about it this whole time… Someone as worthless as me having killed someone to gain attention, and a person who surely had more worth and more of a future than me, at that… But it turns out that I did nothing wrong after all! It wasn’t wrong of me to kill her! There was never anything for me to worry about…!

i definitely have made mirai... also neurodivergent? but in the "opposite" way of haruka. perfect student, doesn't struggle with much, SUCKS socially. like haruka is awkward as hell but he's... arguably p social in the timeline convos? meanwhile mirai would try to do Normal Girl Talk but also suck at it. esp since she would be more "distant" if that makes sense???

speaking of being distant: that's deffo smth that affects 0101. mirai didn't understand haruka up until the very end, but i also think she's a narrative opposite. looking into the future (lol) rather than being stuck in the past

unfortunately this 👆 takes a MASSIVE hit in their relationship. like. mirai just bluntly and casually accepting that they might not be friends forever. considering the kind of person haruka is... yeah i really really doubt he'd take that lightly

personally her name to me is morikawa mirai. mirai ofc comes from that one weakness line (the wrong future (mirai) chose the wrong me), but morikawa (森川) is a little evil (they're the kanji for forest and river respectively. lol)

i associate her w dragonflies and fireworks. stuff that correlates with summer a lot. TBH I ASSOCIATE HARUKA W SUMMER N SUMMER FESTIVALS A LOT TO BEGIN WITH??? soooo
