Out of universe however, Rohi tends to lean towards men that he can antagonise no matter the quad.

practicing their parkour so they can do daring getaways after they’re stinky fingers got into trolls possessions. Ravi also plays those dancing games.

Overly devoted to their Kritta to a toxic dependency type level. They will not be separated.

Self-deprecating when it comes to talking about their future, Ravi has voidrot and tends not to be optimistic about it.

Unrestricted in pretty much everything they do, Ravi wasn’t dealt a good hand growing up along with Kritta and now they have access to money, they’ve definitely started become more reckless and less restrictive about what they do.

Maybe bordering on yandere-ish, just kept in control by a half-smug knowledge that, despite the Kismesis' social awkwardness, he can stand-up for himself very effectively? (Btw it's the same socially awkward cerulean flarper from my last ask)

So, like the moirail ask, the best way to show how trolls are possessive with quadrants is to explain how I see the quad’s relationship.

In a phrase: An enemy/rival that could have easily been a matesprit, but they suck too much.

Essentially you know that if this person wasn’t trash, you’d likely feel red for them. But the way they exist/do things utterly infuriates you and makes you hate them to the point where you kind of end up loving them.

A big dynamic is that both kismesis try to assert their dominance over the other to prove how much better they are than their pitch. This is usually done through making the other’s life horrible (on purpose).

For this to be healthy, the torment is based on weaknesses/ annoyances to force their kismesis to become/be better. They constantly issue challenges to the other’s way of being to force them into growing as a person.

It’s kind of like this person is a gigantic idiot, but they are MY idiot. Don’t you DARE touch them or talk bad about them!

This is a romance. They have to care about the other person deeply enough to want to force them into evolving into what they very clearly should be by now but aren’t for no reason.

There is a lot of pitch and red vacillation with more productive kismesissitudes. They help to ground the other and it is fun to watch your loved one get pissed because of something you did on purpose. Trolls just take it to the next level.

Pitch dates are usually hanging out with said loved one, lightly jabbing and annoying each other when in public and likely pailing or actually tormenting/healthily arguing in private. An example with the couple in question, GHB and his pitch will agree to watch a movie with his kismesis choosing the movie.

His kismesis would likely set the mood by choosing a somewhat subtle anti-clown comedy.

He’d retaliate (after grumbling and lightly complaining when asked) by going on religious rants whenever an anti-clown joke is made loudly and making sure to distract his kismesis from the movie.

Now, GHB takes advantage of the fact that his pitch is too stupid to just be confident to let some of his…more overbearing tendencies shine through in the name of torment.

He usually gets these out by always interrupting his kismesis’ conversations with others and taking over.

This is to force him into telling him off(which GHB finds hot) and actually making him have a spine.

The fact that his pitch even has a backbone is one of the reasons they’re pitch. He thought his pitch was a wimp and pushed him around before they started pitch flirting.

This culminated in his pitch having enough one day and he told GHB off. For GHB, he might as well as have had spades in his eyes the entire time he was being yelled at.

I mean, this cute tiny cerulean had the guts to tell HIM off but nothing when it came to talking to any co-worker or other troll about FLARPing or whatever stupid activity he liked?? And was normal during that FLARPing thing too??? Hoo boy, he needed to piss this cerulean off more.

He also torments his pitch by vocally trying to dominate him in public. Essentially, treating him like his weak, fragile bottom matesprit.

This also works in forcing away the few who don’t leave them alone because well, not many stick around to speak to the Grand High Blood unless they are a clown or higher.

His pitch torments him by forcing to accept the fact that lowerblooded trolls can be good at things too (they’re not just cull-bait), and that there is more to life than religion. Clown Pope or not.

Thing that scares him is, there are a bunch of people who want to cull his Pitch to get to him. So GHB can get pretty on edge during large gatherings or when he’s tricked into FLARPing sessions.

Assassins can come from anywhere and there are also hive-wreckers who want to be able to say that they stole the Clown Pope’s quadrant for clout. So he can be very against large crowds that are out of his control. Which also angers his pitch. It can be v suffocating at times, justified or not.

GHB enjoys this with any outcome. His pitch either tries to assert himself, with GHB to later knock him down/grubtalk him if things go wrong or because he can, orrr his pitch is salt over having to listen and knowing GHB is totally enjoying it.

so uh- ye. I almost forgot about this btw.

 Orxefo was in the middle of making some food for himself in Altren's kitchen. He was staying there for a while since he didn't exactly have his own hive anymore and he really didn't want to go back to his ship. The sun was out and he really should be asleep with Altren but he was extremely hungry. He ended up finding some salmon and figured he'd eat that. Altren wouldn't mind, would he? Orxefo hoped not. 

    Turning on the oven to 400°f, as the instructions stated. Waiting for the beep and putting the food in. He has to wait around 25 mins for it to be done. He yawned and leaned against the counter. Holding his face in his hands. Bouncing his leg as he waited. It was as if time suddenly slowed down. It was really quiet too. He started to softly hum a song to himself. The Humming turned to quiet singing. A song that The Coercion used to sing to him to relax him from his panic outbursts. "Cruel and cold like winds on the seas, wa-will you ever return to me,  Hear my voice sing wa-with the tide, my love wa-will never die". Truly relaxing. "Wow, Didn't Know You Cou/d Sing". Orxefo jumped a bit and looked over his shoulder to see Altren standing behind him. Altren just walked over and wrapped his arms around Orxefo's waist. Placing a kiss on the back of his neck. "So What The He// Are You Doing Up?". Orxefo pointed over to the oven. "I got a bit hungry...I hope you don't mind". Altren pulled Orxefo closer to him. "Of Course Not. I'd Rather You Not Starve". Orxefo checked how much time was left. 15 minutes. Cool. He then turned around to face Altren. Altren was still hugging him, nuzzling his face into Orxefo's chest. He couldn't help but laugh a bit. "You seem a bit cuddly at the moment". Altren looked up at Orxefo. His face was tinted a bit of Violet. Orxefo noticed this and placed a hand on his matesprit's face. It was cute. Altren didn't want to admit it but he did wake up a bit...needy. Wanting affection from Orxefo or perhaps a bit more. He then pulled Orxefo in for a kiss. Altren's kiss trailing down to Orxefo's neck. He shivered as he felt Altren kiss on his gills. His tounge tracing over them gently. Orxefo just giggled and sighed. "oh,I see,feeling a bit hot and bothered?". Altren's face went bright violet. He nodded. He was a bit embarrassed. Orxefo then put his hands on Altren's hips. As a sign of interest. Orxefo took a moment to think. His food was almost ready.10 minutes. Well,it wouldn't hurt to have a little snack. "Think you can get on the counter for me~?". Altren nodded, following his matesprit's command. Sitting on the counter, wondering what Orxefo was gonna do. Well he did know, he just couldn't believe it was happening. The highblood moved down. Seeing how there was a bulge in Altren's pants already. Nuzzling his inner thigh and giving his bulge a little kiss. It made Altren's fins twitch. 'So sensitive' Orxefo thought to himself. It's adorable. He then kissed the bulge again, before pulling down Altren's pants a bit. Gazing at the violet bulge infront of him. Starting at the base, kissing it. Licking it all the way to the tip, before sucking on it completely. Making sure he got all the fluid that was present. Wanting all of it. Enjoying the taste of him. Delicious. Just as he thought. Looking up at Altren to see that he was letting out soft moans. Occasionally quieting himself from being to loud. Orxefo just hummed. Happy that he was making his Matesprit feel good and make such cute noises. Bobbing his head up and down. Each time going down he took in Altren's bulge a bit more. Loving the feeling of it filling up his mouth and throat. Though It was a bit of a challenge since his bulge was kinda big. "Fuck~". Altren said as he grabbed onto a patch of Orxefo's hair, pulling on it slighlty. Orxefo let out a small moan. Enjoying the small sudden pain he felt. Altren was getting close. His breathing becoming shaky and his moans got a bit loud. Orxefo looked over at the time and his salmon was done.Infact it has been for about 5 minutes. He cursed in his head and stopped what he was doing. Removing Altren's bulge from his mouth. Altren just sat there with a sort of 'what the fuck?' face. Whinning a bit too, he was so close. Orxefo walked over to the oven and took out the salmon, placing it on the stovetop, and turning off the oven. Orxefo then got a fork and started eating. Altren kinda sat there in disbelief for a moment before finally speaking. "Are You Fucking Serious Right Now?". He was a bit pissed. Orxefo looked at Altren. "I wa-was hungry!! I'll finish in a few minutes and then wa-we'll continue". Altren just sighed and blushed. "You're /ucky I /ove You….But P/ease Hurry, I-I Need You". Altren was in major need of attention. Orxefo paused for a moment as he ate. Seeing Altren's flushed face and how he squirmed a bit on the counter. Growling a bit in the back of his throat. Fuck it. Placing his food down. He went over to Altren, pulling him in for a kiss. Hands moving up his shirt and grazing over violet grub scars. Moving one hand down and stroking Altren's bulge. Altren started to grind against Orxefo's hand. Orxefo just smirked. Leaning over and kissing Altren's neck. He couldn't hold back this sudden feral desire. Biting down and growling. Licking up a bit of blood that seeped out. Kissing the bite mark. "Ah Fuck~!". Orxefo couldn't tell if Altren liked that or not. Well he probably would've stopped him but he isn't. Good. He honestly couldn't take it anymore. He needed more than just this. He could tell Altren wanted more too. Letting go of the Other's bulge. Orxefo completey took off Altren's pants, along with his own. Spreading his Matesprit's legs apart. Gazing at his nook. Oh how he couldn't wait to ruin it. Orxefo then moved his hand down to it, pressing a single finger inside. Altren just covered his mouth. Orxefo used his free hand to grab Altren's wrist. "Wa-why are you covering that pretty mouth of yours?". Adding a second finger into his tight nook. Altren let out a shaky moan. "I Don't Want To Be T-To /oud...My Servents Might Hear Us…". Orxefo just giggled and gave Altren a kiss. "Altren, you know-wa very wa-well they wa-won't hear us. Be as loud as you wa-want, my love". Moving his fingers deep in Altren's nook. Hearing a high-pitched moan. "That's it~ good boy". Orxefo then removed his fingers. Grabbing his bulge and positioning it infront of his matesprit's nook. Slowly pressing inside. Groaning at how tight he was. Altren wrapped his legs around Orxefo's waist. Thrusting slow so that Altren could get used to his size. Hearing the pants and moans coming from his lover made Orxefo nearly lose it. He hasn't done anything like this in a long time. It felt so good. He started to move a bit faster. Placing kisses on Altren's body. Grabbing his hips to have a bit more control. His claws digging into Altren's skin. Letting out a yelp. Altren leaned up to Orxefo's face. Wrapping his arms around his neck. "F-Faster...Fuck Orxefo P/ease". Pulling him in for a messy kiss. Orxefo obeyed his command and started pounding against Altren's nook. The kitchen was filled with muffled moans. Fushcia and Violet Genetic material dripping on the counter. It was a real mess. Orxefo as this point had Altren pinned down. Altren squirmed underneath him. He was enjoying every bit of it. Loving this closeness. Orxefo bit his lip as he felt Altren's nook tighten around his bulge. He was close. They both were. Altren buried his face in the crook of Orxefo's neck. Suddenly making bug like noises. Orxefo thought it was cute but it might be because he was hitting a spot that was making him lose it. Through a moan, Altren bit on Orxefo's fin. Orxefo let out a growl turned purr. Altren was a bit surprised to hear that. Normally sea-dwellers don't have the ability to purr. He wanted to hear it again. Biting a little harder. Orxefo purred more. Cute. Both trolls moaning and panting, close to climax. Altren pulled Orxefo into a kiss as they both finished. Gasping as he felt something warm fill his nook. Orxefo pulled out, sighing a bit. Noticing how big of a mess they made on the counter. He was going to say something but Altren just hugged him and nuzzled his face against Orxefo's chest. Whispering a little 'I love you'. Orxefo just smiled and picked up Altren. "I love you too. Now-wa how-wa about we go get cleaned up?". Altren nodded, placing a kiss on Orxefo's cheek as they went to the restroom.

Steph Talks For Way Too Long About Sollux’s Harry Potter House

I havent been able to stop thinking  or talking about this topic for like 60+ hours

first wanna say that it’s really hard to interpret how people are sorted because JK Rowling is apparently shitty at writing. So people seem to have wildly different opinions on why people are in the houses they’re in because they view the houses and their qualifications differently.

I’ve also never read a harry potter book and havent watched a movie for like 5+ years maybe so i had to talk to like 3-4 people who went though huge harry potter phases and we talked for over 3 hours cumulatively for me to make up my mind.

I think it’s really important to say that because Sollux isn’t really a main character, there’s a lot we have to make guesses on. Hussie didn’t make a big sheet full of Sollux’s Dreams and Ambitions, Morals and Beliefs, so we have to  fill in a lot of blanks on what we think those are based on a few things. Who he talks to, and associates himself with and what he does

The point being we don’t have a lot to work with.

It’s also pretty important to say that Sollux puts on a LOT of fronts and facades. He’s only truly mean and cruel to people he doesn’t like or care about Plus Karkat. He plays Fake Mean a lot, and if you dig even a centimeter under it, we see time and time again that he’s just pretending and does actually give many shits.

Sollux is also really passive in most things that he does. He doesn’t really question anyone’s authority or make a point to fight something out very often. The only time we ever see him resort to action to solve his problems are when dealing with Eridan. And even then, the first time we ever see them talk, it’s Eridan walking up to him and Feferi privately having a conversation and Sollux telling his gf to “make him go away.” And then after Eridan doesn’t go away, we see him resort to fighting. His PQ arc also has him antagonize Eridan and then drop a building on him, so like, yeah. Usually, when presented with conflict, Sollux either removes himself from the situation quickly, or if he’s unable to do so, makes it extremely clear that he doesn’t want to engage. In most cases, Sollux is by himself, sitting alone and not making attempts to talk to anyone else. It’s totally possible that he’s more social at other times and we only see him when he’s at his worst, but we dont see that so we can’t really speculate much on it. Point being, he’s very passive and self contained/oriented.

What i really want to put emphasis on is the people he associates with. His main friends we see him talk to willingly or at least show fondness for are Aradia, Feferi, Kanaya, Terezi, and Karkat. Three of these are considered main characters, or are at least given character arcs to some extent. These are the good guys. The guys who at least try to do good, and show compassion, and care about others. The characters we see him either avoid quietly, avoid loudly or vocally hate and commit violence against are the rest of the characters. Namely Vriska, Gamzee and Eridan. (im kinda gonna gloss over Vriska because his distaste/hatred/unpleasantness towards her  doesn’t have to be a moral statement on his part. It’s pretty easy to assume that anyone with his past to her would have a similar if not identical stand point) These are characters that actively do bad things, they murder and harm others at worst and are gross nasty incels at best. And even the best case in that scenario is still blabberingly racist and, treats sollux and the people he cares about like shit. Sollux doesn’t associate with people that the comic have established are villains, or at least do things that are pretty unambiguously wrong or evil.

In Sollux’s pesterquest, Kanaya tells MSPA reader than when The Thing with Aradia first happened, Sollux refused contact with Kanaya because she didn’t cut off Vriska. He was upset at her for being associated with someone who traumatized him. This is very telling of sollux’s personality and his relationship with his friends, and it’s a side we don’t see of Sollux any other time in the comic or in his PQ arc. It’s only when she tells him that she doesn’t cut Vriska off due to romantic feelings for her does Sollux change his mind. He doesn’t bring up Vriska, Aradia, his grief or his trauma at any point while at his visit with her that we see. He doesn’t appear mad or reluctant to be there, he makes jokes, smiles, and reminisces memories with her fondly, even almost sleeps over at her place for the day. It’s like he’s completely forgotten about being upset at her at all, or is at least choosing not to bring it up out of respect for her.

Again, it’s unclear how much time has passed. But when you start his arc, the reason youre talking to him is because he’s been reclusive out of grief. He hasn’t been talking to people lately and his friends are worried about him. So clearly enough time has passed for him to be okay with seeing Kanaya, as that’s his sole purpose for leaving his hive that day at all, but not enough time for him to be fully recovered.

This moment in his arc showcases his loyalty that he has for Kanaya, and possibly his other friends. He seemed quick to forgive her, or at least bury whatever resentment he may have been harboring. One may say that his cold shoulder to Kanaya would be indicative of a lack of a loyalty trait at all, that if he were loyal to her, he wouldn’t be ready to possible end his relationship with her over this. But i kind of view it as a sort of bluff? Like Kanaya essentially told him that his trauma did not at all change the way she feels about her, Kanaya still has a crush on Vriska after hearing about what she did to one of her good friends. To some, this may have been a slap to the face, an entire dismissal of his trauma in it’s entirety. But instead, he sees it as a valid reason for not cutting her off, he shrugs it off. I feel like if he were serious about not wanting to be friends with Kanaya while she was talking to someone who hurt him greatly, her crush wouldn’t have been an excuse.

I also wanna touch on his loyalty to Aradia very quickly because you dont need me to  tell you that he cares about her. Once again for like the third time, we have to make guesses on how much time has passed between events. From the time Aradia dies on Alternia, becomes a ghost with an entirely new personality, a robot with another personality, and then finally her alive Godtier self, Sollux’s feelings for her are very consistent. He seems to not really care for the ghost or robot versions of her, he even sits a chair away from her during Openbound on the meteor, and doesn’t talk to her much, is very cold towards her, and even tells her that she’s incapable of feeling when she tries to tell him goodbye when she explodes (it’s also worth noting he cries after this, which i think is the first and only time we see him do this). When Aradia comes back to the meteor, alive and herself again, Sollux immediately leaves the rest of his friends to go hang out with her. Even with Karkat begging him to stay, he just peaces out, without even really thinking about it. We have to assume that if it’s not written in the dialogue, it isn’t being said. So he doesn’t discuss wanting to leave with Aradia or with anyone else. He just decides he’s leaving, and then does. And he stays by her side for almost the rest of the time we see him. He ditches later for other reasons, but don’t worry, they’re back together by the time Collide is happening.

Point being, for the most part, he sticks by his friends unless they’re doing something he disagrees with morally. If he’s not down for what’s happening, he’s not down for sticking around. He even seems to be better friends with Nepeta now that this version of her isn’t really hanging out with Equius that much, someone Sollux would no doubt not get along with for many reasons.

Some of my friends pointed out that him sticking by his morals so strongly is something a Slytherin would do, coupled with the fact that he’s kind of a dick or something idk that much about Slytherins. But I think Huffliepuff is very much about comradery. We can tell a lot about Sollux based on who he surrounds himself with and what he does and doesn’t participate in. He doesn’t participate in trolling humans, he doesn’t participate in helping Vriska do something he doesn’t feel good about doing, he doesn’t participate in any of the relationship melodrama happening around him. But he helps his friends. He helps Kanaya open the viewfinder to see and talk to Rose, he helps Kanaya do little errands in his PQ route, he helps Terezi find out who Dave is, and he sacrifices himself to save the remainder of his group (which btw only contains the people I’ve previously stated he associates with minus feferi not that that means anything i just thought it was kind of fun to point out). I mean, he got better but its the thought that counts.

Someone could make a point that “If Sollux is so loyal, why didn’t he mourn Feferi even a little bit when he found out she was dead?” And yeah, that’s a good point to bring up, and i don’t really have anything to say about it other than….maybe he knew by this point that death doesn’t really mean anything? Maybe his euphoria of finally being lifting of the voices was happening at the same time? And also that he predicted he’d go blind like a million pages ago and now he can finally stop worrying about it? Is he happy that he’s talking to Terezi and right now that’s more important? It’s hard to tell. Sollux doesn’t really explain himself apart from “missing being her matesprite” when in Erisolsprite form talking  to Fefetasprite form. It’s hard to tell what their relationship was at the time, or what his feelings truly were immediately afterward. I kinda think it was the foremost of those explanations, he probably knew that she’d come back as a ghost, or something?

Anyway, those are all the reasons i can think of at the moment for why I think Sollux would be Hufflepuff. A lot of his personality revolves around his friends, who he considers friends and who he doesn’t consider friends. Send me asks, message me, and do that shit if you wanna talk more, but i probably won’t have a whole lot to say lmao. Or ill just restate a lot of what i said here.

Props for getting this far. For the record, if Sollux for some reason was unable to be in Hufflepuff, I’d probably put him 50/50 Ravenclaw or Slytherin. I really don’t think he’s a Gryfindor because as I understand it, that house is very much about being courageous, and standing up for yourself and i went off for way to long about how he’s a little weenie man who does nothing mostly.

➢ Eridan Ampora ;

Eridan is a member of the Lonely Heart Club –even if he does not want to admit it-, and he’s a forever alone like we all know. You have never had a date and it’s not a problem. He will tell you he has had so many dates and he lost count of them but it’s not true, he wants to appear like the Casanova everyone desires –but only in his dreams-.  His aristocratic and condescending ways could make you uncomfortable (and getting on your nerves) but he’s just glad someone has noticed him and you are his crush even if he has not already confessed it. The poor fish boy is imagining a future with you, that you will become his matesprite but maybe he has to be careful with the words he uses and his ways can appear harsh or insolent sometimes. You need a lot of patience!He will try to organize a romantic encounter since it’s the first date for the both of you. He would suggest doing a picnic nearby the beach and then admiring the night sky together looking for the constellations. Before the date, Eridan will watch romantic movies that he has borrowed from Karkat and he will take notes of all the most important points and words to say. Maybe you could find him a little weird and unnatural because he tries to imitate the characters of those movies but it would be very hilarious. It won’t be a terrible date, you’ll have fun with him, and if he’s alone with you he can be softer and less egocentric because he wants to give you a good impression and maybe there will be a second date.

➢ Kankri Vantas ;

Because of his vow of chastity, he’s reluctant at first to accept your invitation but it’s just a date and it does not regard any sexual activities so he’s glad to help a friend and spend some time with you. Yes, he considers it like a friendship date. His intention is not to friendzone you and it’s better if you don’t talk about it. In this circumstance, he will tell a salmon about his apologies if you think that the two of you could become a couple and then he will tell you that you should have known about his life choice and that he feels so offended and bla bla bla.For your sake, you have to be the one to choose the date’s destination and I would suggest a calm and silent place where people could not speak or, at least, not so much just like a library or a waiting room. Yes, they are really strange places for a date but you must be ready for all his talks and he won’t let you answer back and if you do, he will talk so much more because it seems you are interested to his discourses.On the other hand, if you want to conquer his heart, it could be a good method. Show yourself fascinated to his speeches, nodding and doing facial expressions that manifest happiness but you have to demonstrate you are listening to him for real, just repeat what he says and he will think you are agree with his point of views. You have to be determinate and resistant because this thing can go along for hours and you will be exhausted but you will make him so happy and maybe he will be the one to ask a new date to you and your poor hears won’t be so glad about it.

➢ Equius Zahhak ;

Oh, it’s a great responsibility, so he’s the first person you date. He’s sweating because it’s unbelievable, and he will do his best to make this date fantastic and he will show you the STRONG feelings he feels for you, it has to be special and romantic. Then, he wants to show you that he can effort so many things because he’s a highblood so he will take you in the most elegant and renowned restaurants. He acts just like a peacock that has to show his bright plumage. At first, you could thing he’s a blowhard (just like his muscles) especially if you are a human and you don’t know troll’s culture. Then, you’ll see he’s very gentle and caring (sometimes he’s embarrassed too and he starts sweating like crazy but just forgive him).  Anyway, it will be a very romantic and sophisticated date you will enjoy so much, he behaves like a gentleman complimenting you for your outfit, and everything will be his treat. Since it’s your first date and he’s the lucky troll who accompanies you, it has to be an unforgettable date.

➢ Horuss Zahhak ;

It’s not his first date and he’s quite shocked when you confess to him that you have never had a date before. Actually, he’s glad to be your first date and he will take this responsibility very seriously. Everything has to be perfect for his future matesprite (he’s already dreaming about it).His behaviour is similar to Equius’ because he wants to show you how he can take care of you and he traits you like a princess/prince even if your blood is low (his ex matesprite was Rufioh and his blood is not the highest). After the romantic dinner, he will ask to you if you want to ride his great beasts with him under the moonlight and if you are not able, he will teach you and he can be so delicate and soft when he wants, you don’t have to be afraid of his STRENGH!

So, I was talking with my friend @supersexyghotmew95 about the new Stevenbomb (amazing btw) and this is what we somehow decided:

Aquamarine and Topaz are moirails, but Aqua is flushing red for Topaz

Left ear Topaz thinks they should reciprocate and become matesprits with Aqua, but Right Ear Topaz thinks that it wouldn’t be proper since Aqua is significantly higher in rank.

Steven tries to meddle a bit while on the ship in the hope that their entering a red relationship will make them more willing to not hand him and Lars (oh yeah Lars is still on the ship holy fuck) over to the diamonds. 

Also this is under the headcanon that Alternia exists in Steven’s universe and is a semi-ally to Homeworld; Steven learned about quadrants from Peridot who has had interactions with trolls as a part of her job.
