I hope every Mal du pays echo is a Siffrin from a failed loop. I hope it’s appearance is more than just a metaphor for the loops (and Siffrin’s slipping grasp on their identity). I hope looping leaves behind a phantom self. Can you tell this image lives rent free in my mind
