Different Approaches

I'll be honest, when she was absorbed, all I felt was the comedic potential. And I mean this in the most heartfelt way possible!

Just imagine!

First of all! You do realise this literally means one day Sindel's face will pop in Ermac's head?? Like, this is not even a speculation or headcanon, it WILL HAPPEN!

Mileena: Hey Ermac, can I talk to my dad? I need his wisdom.

Ermac:

Kitana: uh, Ermac? Can you hear us?

Mileena: ugh! HELLOOO! Honestly this--

Sindel faced Ermac: Hello, my daughters :D

And it just gets better cause we can tell Jerrod is the soft parent while Sindel handles all the scolding! Imagine one day Mileena and Jerrod have sort of an disagreement cause "I know you're wise, dad, but I'm an adult AND a literal empress" and then Sindel just asks him to step aside and on that exact moment, Mileena already knows she's royally SCREWED!

Jerrod: Your mom will talk to you

Mileena, already bracing for impact: Oh, by Delia!

Sindel faced Ermac: MILEENA OF EDENIA! YOU BETTER LISTEN TO YOUR FATHER OR SO HELP ME!

Mileena, on the verge of tears: Yes mom!

And lastly: imagine whenever Sindel flirts with Jerrod, Ermacs stands still cause Jerrod is certainly NOT focusing on the outside world!

Kitana: Is dad ok?

Mileena: I dunno. Maybe he's talking to someone inside?

Ermac: *blushes*

Kitana: NOOO! Mom is flirting!

Mileena: GROOOSS!!!

These two would be a menace to their daughters, as they SHOULD!🤭💜❤️

Now regarding Raiden:

I'll be honest, before Subscorprumi, I didn't put too much thought into polycule either.

But the mere thought of this being THE ULTIMATE form of happiness for all, like, everybody is together, everybody is happy, no sacrifices, no heartbreak, just these three people enjoying each other the way they wish, had me DIVING IN!

I am not so familiar with how it actually works, but I'm not familiar with how romance works either... like, at all!

But I believe a good romance is all about a good friendship!

Personally, I write Subscorprumi as three good friends! Sometimes two of them will join in to pamper the third one (or to tease🤭), sometimes two of them will hear the third one had a bad experience with some people and one will go "names! I want names!" While the other is already off to get weapons!

I also love the idea of a pré established couple taking a third person into their relationship (usually I go for Kuairumi taking Hanzo in, but the classic Hanrumi takes Kuai in and teaches Mr. "Love only causes pain" the true meaning of love!)

And I can TOTALLY see Jerrod and Sindel (do they have a ship name) pulling Raiden into their polycule!

If he's only in love with Sindel, I can see the three of them sitting down over tea and discussing the dynamics of their relationship.

You can even make it very light-hearted, with Sindel and Jerrod teasing Raiden on how painfully obvious he was about his crush!

I also love when these relationships evolve and the person who was only dating 1 half of the couple starts to fall for the other half!

You can even make Raiden confess he's in love with Jerrod to Sindel and she goes "Bout damn time! I'll help you court him!"

Trouples are so much fun! If you choose to dive into this one, I promise you'll have some serious good time!❤️💜💙

Regarding the bodyguards: SAME GIRLS!!😂😂

And regarding Shao: Exactly! The way it is, the dynamic is just too messed up! And definitely worse given what they did to Kitana! Real Sindel would NEVEEEER!😤
