this has yet to come up but i forego honorifics when writing characters whose language uses them ( mostly korean or japanese ) just because it's implied they're using proper honorifics when speaking in the language, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

#im ngllllll it's just a teeeeeeeeensy bit weird to me that it's mostly korean or japanese that gets the honorifics tacked on to english wrds #when nobody does it for like. thai or filo or other languages #its just giving oPPAAAAAAA #SENNPAIIII ~ fufufufu #or when ppl do the thing where they unironically go “jagiya” like bestie lkgJDSKLGSD #the structure in diff languages is also why i don't use “Mister/Ms/Teacher etc” in place of san or sensei in japanese if i were to angliciz #its why dubs sound so mf weird if they try translating it just doesn't work w the engilsh syntax #anyways.#yeah <3 #this is diff from sayin titles e.g. your grace. your majesty. my king. etc etc #whenever my chara deliberately doesnt use honorifics i Explicitly state so !! otherwise. it is implied :p #also def not at any of my mutuals !!!!!!! if yall do this its not about u #its more me explainin why i dont lol
