As much as I believe in both the "animation is not just for kids" and "animation is cinema" sentiments, it feels a lot like the people who say those phrases tend to ONLY watch the family oriented CG animated films from the likes of Disney, Dreamworks, Sony, etc. Along with a select few Ghibli films. Like saying animation is cinema and that its not just for kids and then posting a screenshot from Spiderverse doesn't help lol. I want animated movies to be shown the respect they deserve too but please name one movie that's not from a major western animation studio and also rated higher than PG please
