when did train travel get so expensive holy shit
#last time i rode amtrak i swear it was like $60 one way#i was thinking about inviting my friend to the cherry blossom festival in DC#but holy fuck the cheapest amtrak trip i could put together was $350 before tax and fees#flying isn’t much cheaper either and i get motion sick on buses sooo idk#i was excited about being semi spontaneous but with a hotel and food that’s like $1k#maybe a little less idk how much the fees will be and maybe my friend will let me stay with her in baltimore#this is because of the railroad strikes from a while ago isn’t it. fucking rail companies#m.txt
