When I went to the zoo last week I also saw that they have a new baby giraffe that they haven't even announced yet and she's so cute 🥺
#they had 3 other calves last year too!#if you think i seem to have a very intimate knowledge of my local zoos animals. i do 🫶#theyre smallish so easier too keep track of#but the girrafes specifically . giraffes are my sisters favorite animal#so we've asked the keepers about them and stuff#we know most of their names 😭#and when we saw this baby i was like 'omg thats daisy's baby!! daisy had a baby!' and then i thought hm. how many people would notice that#(i can identify daisy bc she only has one ear)#(i can also identify the oldest male bc hes big and wrinkly)#(my sister can identify much more than that)#(she's noticed that she hasnt seen one of them in a while so she's worried that she might have passed)#this is an abnormal amount of knowledge of the zoo animals is it not 😭
