There's always time Cozy!!!
You're doing so well already, and your work and little posts mean a lot to us!! I know it doesn't always seem like it, but there are people who might consider hearing about your day or seeing your art as little drops of joy
So... maybe it's not a lot, but it means a lot to someone, somewhere
Lots of affection (/platonic) from this little anon
then hear about my week.
today i went out and instead of spending 55 bucks on meager groceries i spent 35 on meager groceries because the majority of what i got was “buy one get one free” — not much of a ratio and still expensive but 20 bucks less is 20 bucks less i suppose
but this came after i bought a humidifier only for it to show up like it sustained a freaking bullet wound either during or before shipping but nobody gave a shit. It’s muskrats America so maybe my humidifier DID get shot. it’s cheaper to just crack a window for some humidity in my room. Refund imminent.
two days ago i finished my last art trade from that follower raffle i did (i know i never posted the art i did receive- its not my style but i loved all of them, but tbf most of my recipients didn’t either so i suppose it balances out)
today i finished 75% of my emergency comms from days ago. there’s only one left. after that i’ll finally have a clear plate for the first time in months
i was sick most of the week with a cold (at least i think it was)
still doing the twst oc outfit art meme. tho im slowing down on purpose since im pretty confident that the only person who even likes the challenge is me. Pretty sure all the askers are only doing it out of pity anyhow since im not giving gen art. It’s not nearly as in demand as like…that old wardrobe art meme with all the fake cards and to think…
those are basically obsolete since ⚠️the game started room relaxation on jp and i realized how off base i truly was 👌👍 good thing i never finished. But i was tired of making thankless stuff anyway.
i cleared out my inbox yesterday cuz i knew i would never get back to anything (mainly ask memes i failed completing)
so now instead of 150+ unanswered messages its now a more humble 100 unanswered messages (mind half of that is just my own personal archived bs from like 2017)
Speaking of thankless, there was still drawing other peoples yuu requests in there from 2023. Pretty sure all those askers dont even like twst anymore and the majority of ones i did do never touched my work again. Always makes a homie remember that one is only useful to others so long as you can give them free stuff 👍
the only art that gives me joy is the stuff that i never post.
book 7 makes me frown now but not for the reasons people might automatically jump to but i already vowed never to voice mundane takes or reflections again because [redacted] [noun_error_notfound?] are [adjective_error_notfound(?)] if anyone says anything innocuous
I made tikka masala today.
world bad and i wanna get off of it
i stream drawing art in a discord server with one single other person in it and they are forced to listen to sonic game OSTs until they memorize the games they come from
art bad im never gonna be as good as the ones that sometimes manage to cross my purposely dead dashboard cuz i simply have no sense and have a “just making sure i dont fit in” complex where i dont wanna draw whatever is trendy
i did not put this under read more
i watched a bunch of bratz movies and episodes yesterday and i did not know they made some new mini-series continuation of their main continuity 😭 (apparently it was tiktok exclusive so ofc i didnt know. i dont use that.) so that gave me some joy.
speaking of toktik i was informed that someone apparently reposted my malleus and silver animatic up there >:(
i get a.i references when asked to draw stuff now i and dont like it because a.i but also because i cant read the images well as a result.
maybe people shouldn’t do that, idk.
And i didnt draw for myself today. That was my week.
#cozy ask#this is also the same site where leaving responsive tags is getting more and more and more scarce#so even if something like art is dropped i wouldnt know what anyone thinks.

「 INDEX + INTRODUCTION 」
˚₊‧🔪WELCOME TO MY YANDERE BLOG! I mainly make content for my own original characters and occasionally, fandom related stuff. This blog is strictly 16+ and run by two people.
My name is Kiki (She/Her) and I am 18+. I’m the one that mainly provides the art and bots that you’ll find throughout this blog and sometimes, I write headcanons/imagines as well. My writer is Rose (She/Her, 18+) and she’s responsible for writing the fanfictions and some of the drabbles. To make it easy for you to know who's behind each post, you'll see either 'Mun Kiki', 'Mun Rose', or both credited in the tags.
We started this blog because we had numerous ideas for yandere characters. Given my background as an artist and Rose's talent as a writer, it seemed like a natural fit. I'm primarily creating this post to serve as a guide for navigating the blog. I've received numerous asks about accessing the characters' backgrounds, information, as well as questions regarding my bots, projects, commissions, socials, and other related topics. You can use this post as a reference FAQ or as a comprehensive guide to streamline your experience on the blog.
Find that you enjoy our work? Consider leaving a tip, it’s greatly appreciated and helps the blog. Also, if you’d like to be able to be more involved with our creative process and engage with the community, you can join our Discord server here.

╰┈➤ ASK RULES - OPEN!
✦ Absolutely no NSFW asks. This blog is 16+ for a reason, so obviously, we will be trashing asks related to sexual topics.
✦ We’re allowed not to answer certain asks. If you’ve been spamming the same ask and we haven’t responded to it for months, it’s most likely because we aren't comfortable doing so OR we’ve already answered an ask similar to yours.
✦ We will not be answering any asks regarding self-harm, eating disorders, extreme gore, noncon or any topics that could be associated with them.
✦ Finally, we kindly request your patience. We understand that it may take some time to address each individual ask, as we both have busy lives and there may be periods when we don't post asks for weeks. Please refrain from rushing us, and rest assured, we will eventually get to your ask.

╰┈➤ CHARACTER AI + JANITOR AI
If you've been following this account for some time, you're likely aware that I frequently share my character bots here. I've received numerous asks about which bots are available and where to find them online. While I plan to compile a list of my bots soon, for now, I'll provide links to both of my accounts for future reference.
It's worth noting that I'm currently on a temporary hiatus from Character AI due to site complications. Consequently, most of my recent bots can be found on Janitor AI, where I'm more active. Before visiting either site, please be aware that Janitor AI is intended for users aged 18 and above, whereas Character AI caters to a younger audience. In other words, minors stay off JanitorAI!
My Character AI profile - 1, 2, 3, 4
My Janitor AI profile (18+) - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Wish to request a bot from me? You can find the information here.
╰┈➤ ART COMMISSION INFO - OPEN
Pretty self explanatory. If you're interested in commissioning artwork from me, simply click the link to access my commission page. Currently, I'm accepting payments through both PayPal and Cashapp. Below is a brief FAQ regarding my commissions. Should you have any further questions, don't hesitate to contact me!
Can you draw my OC with your characters?
✦ Yes, absolutely! Just provide me a reference and what you'd like specifically. We can discuss all the details in DM's.
Can you draw a character from 'this fandom' for me?
✦ I'm completely fine with drawing fandom related content. The only fandoms I will not draw under any circumstance is youtubers, Your Boyfriend, Country Humans, BTD and Killing Stalking. Otherwise, I'm open to whatever.
Can you draw a comic for me?
✦ Yes, but only short comics. You can let me know what you'd like the short comic to be about and all that fun stuff. Just know comics from me will likely be around $20-$40+ dollars depending how detailed and complex you'd like it to be.

King of Giggles
It was only just beginning...the next stage of the games had started, without giving them much warning. It felt like this would never end. They had been running for a while now, so long that day was already night again. The king of spades blimp had moved now, out of sight from them so they had time and shelter for the night. With the car ruined and no food they had to separate again and gather what they all needed. Tired and anxious, Tatta just tried to listen to what was happening. Arisu spoke but nothing was reaching his ears until he said his name. The mechanic blinked. Arisu wanted him to come with him?! Wait where were they supposed to go! He just nodded, trying to keep the confusion and stress in his head.
"Perfect, so Usagi and Kuina will try to find food! Me and Tatta will look for a new car!" Arisu said with the same determination in his voice he always had. Something Tatta couldn't help but always admire.
'Cars, we're looking for cars, got it!' The plan finally registered in his brain as they put their hands in yelling 'Team!' Before breaking off into their groups and leaving the site, promising to meet back here in an hour or two. Hopefully, it shouldn't take anyone that long anyway, but you never know what could happen in this place, especially at night. Grabbing a flashlight, Tatta walked silently side by side with Arisu as he tried to find where exactly the car shop was. If this place was an exact replica of Shibuya, then the place Tatta was looking for shouldn't be too far. The gentle, warm, summer wind was the only noise that could be heard other than their footsteps. It would've been nicer if they weren't in this situation.
Arisu spoke up to break the silence. "Hey Tatta..." The shorter man blinked, getting out of his head to respond. "Yes?" He raised his eyebrows in response as Arisu responded.
"Thank you for saving me...twice now" he laughed a little under his breath. Tatta smiled back a little at this. "Oh it's nothing! You saved me first! If you didn't crawl to me in the tag game I wouldn't have survived...so really thank you! I didn't do anything!" Arisu smiled more at this and pointed a flashlight in his face.
"Don't downplay it! You got me out of that room in the beach, with people shooting everywhere! And then, you totally helped me, all of us, dodge the king of spades by pulling up in that car! You're amazing Tatta!" He hyped him up as the other got a little sheepish.
"Oh stop it Arisu! You're my friend! That's just what friends are for!" He exhaled as Arisu sighed and nodded. The air went back to being a little thicker after that but it didn't last long. They made it to the car place Tatta knew of and looked around. The small glow of the flashlights was the only thing illuminating this place as they walked.
"Oh my gosh!!" Tattas face lit up as he ran over to an old shiny red convertible. Arisu blinked at the others surprise "What?" He joined him over to the car. Tatta was crouched down carefully rubbing the top of it with his free hand. "Look at the curves on this baby!" Arisu smiled at his enthusiasm. Not quite understanding it but he wasn't one to judge. It certainly looked nice.
"Yeah! It looks cool!" Arisu said as Tatta scoffed a little playfully "Cool? She's a true beauty! A 1966 Ford Mustang convertible...a red one at that! factory-style air conditioning, power brakes, wood rim steering wheel, styled steel wheels, new radial narrow whitewall tires and a power top!" He gushed on and on about the car as Arisu listened carefully with an eyebrow raise.
"Wow! You really know a lot about cars huh? That's amazing!" He smiled brightly as Tatta stood up again.
"I used to be a mechanic...I've always loved cars, ever since I was a little boy..." He hummed gently as Arisu's smile only grew.
"A mechanic?! That's awesome! I bet you were really good at it with your knowledge on cars! I wouldn't be surprised!" He placed a friendly hand on his shoulder as Tatta shrugged "Ehh...I was okay at the job..."
Arisu hummed "You do that a lot don't you?" He looked at him as Tatta hummed in response "Do what?"
The flashlight was back in his face like an interrogation. "Downplay yourself and your skills" Tatta closed one eye from the light practically blinding him.
"That's not fair..." Arisu put the light back down and raised an eyebrow "So? You keep being unfair to yourself and I don't like it, you are incredible and you need to understand that" He smiled as Tatta exhaled.
"Arisu..."
"I'm serious, you're a ball of anxiety! I understand that in this situation, but even out of the death games, when we have a chance to breathe you're still anxious" The other pushed his hat up to look Tatta in the eyes.
"Your optimism is one of the reasons I'm still here now...it really cheers me up! So now it's my turn to help you again!" Tatta blinked, a small sparkle in his eye as he said that. He helped cheer Arisu up...he's part of the reason he kept going...
"Wha- me?" Turning his head to face Arisu he was met with that same bright smile again. "But I didn't-" Arisu put a finger to his lips "The next thing out of your mouth better be something positive about yourself or else!" Tatta blinked as Arisu removed his finger from his lips.
"I-I don't know what to say!" Tatta said gently as Arisu's face formed a wicked smirk.
"Wrong answer"
With that Arisu took a step towards Tatta who's body moved without him thinking about it. With each step Arisu took forward the other moved back. Panicked 'waits!' and other pleas left Tattas mouth before he tripped backwards falling into the backseat of the convertible.
"Woah-" he tried to get up but he was stuck. Arisu stood over him with a playful smirk. "Look what we have here~ You're trapped in the car you couldn't stop gushing about, now that's funny!"
Tatta smiled at his playful attitude but was still a little scared. Arisu wouldn't hurt him, right?
"Oh shut up! Just help me get out of here, please!" He asked as Arisu's eyebrows raised again in shock and intrigue.
"Ooohhh? Telling me to shut up now? I didn't think you had a mean bone in your body! This definitely made it more fun!" Tatta kicked his feet a little as he tried to escape.
"Oh come on Arisu! Help me! Please!" Arisu giggled as he got closer "Did you forget why you fell in the first place? You're in trouble Tatta, you gave me the wrong answer, and now you have to pay the price"
Oh...right! That's what was going on at first. What was he planning?
"Listen I'm sorry! I just didn't think that I-" He didn't have time to finish that statement. Arisu's fingers were gently squeezing at his sides. Tattas eyes shot open as he felt the ticklish jolts of electricity. He can't remember the last time he was tickled. He was probably a child when that happened last. He forgot how ridiculously ticklish he was and what it felt like until now. There was nothing to stop the giggles that flew out of his mouth now.
"Ahaharisu! Hey! Nohoho!" He shook his head gently as he tried to push at his hands weakly. Arisu's smile only grew as he heard his precious laughter.
"Awwww!" He cooed, making the other a little embarrassed.
"Dohohon't coo at meHehe!" His giggles got a little louder as Arisu pinched his ribs with one hand and continued tickling his side with the other. "EHehe!- This iHis emBahAharssihHing!" His face was a little red now as Arisu giggled with him under his breath.
"Its not embarrassing! Everyone is ticklish! Plus it's only me and you here! Don't worry about it, you're thinking too much again!" he teased a little at the end, flicking his hat for emphasis before as he gently pinched around his stomach. A little surprised when not many giggles came out there.
"Hmm not so ticklish here, that's all good, I'll find your big tickle spot soon enough! Just you wait!" He moved spots as the man in the hat kept giggling.
"Aharisu!"
Arisu moved his fingers up, crawling them up his ribs like a ladder until he reached his underarms. He hummed a little tune before Tatta screamed a little, slamming his arms down. And yet, that wasn't his worst spot. It certainly made Arisu's grin bigger though.
"Oooo!!" He teased "Tickle Tickle Tickle~"
"AHAHaha! NAhAHA-" Tatta shook his head around and kicked his feet trying to fight the feeling off but nothing worked. He moved so much that his hat came off, his short black hair getting more messy as it continued.
"IHIhHit TihiHIHickles! ARisuhuHu!-" the gamer giggled and nodded at his friends giggly statement. "Mhm~ it's supposed to buddy!" He took a deep breath before teasing him again, "tickletickletickletickle-" his wiggling fingers moved faster as he teased him which only made him laugh more.
"PLEHEhehEHEAse!! HAHAHA!" His feet kicked more, eyes closed as he let the tickly sensation take over his body and mind. Exactly what Arisu wanted, for him to stop overthinking and surrender to the tickle monster!
"They should make another card in the deck! Just for you, Tatta! It would be a face card with a feather card suit. You'd be the King of Giggles." he smirked, blowing a raspberry into his neck while tickling his underarms still.
"AHAHA" the other tried to protest but couldn't. Arisu moved his hands out from his underarms finally. Tatta tried catching his breath but he knew, they both knew that this wasn't the end yet. Red faced and panting he finally spoke.
"Im...not...the king of giggles...that's not even a real card!" He smiled as Arisu smirked "You totally are, want me to prove it?" He teased as Tatta giggled anxiously.
"Arisu..."
"I know where you're most ticklish!" He teased as the other blinked. Even Tatta forgot where he was most ticklish. How would he know?
"Huh? How?"
"It was a simple pattern to figure out, process of elimination~" he wiggled his fingers teasing at him "You readyyy?~" He was skeptical but nodded gently anyway. More curious then anything.
"Where do you-" again cut off by his own laughter. This time it was a snort. No one expected that.
"Oh my god! That was perfect! I knew it had to be here!"
"AHAHAHARISUHUHU!"
He was squeezing the tops of his knees the kicks got greater as he laughed his head off. Arisu was having the time of his life now.
"This is too good! I gotta try something!" He moved his fingers under the car a little to tickle the backs of his knees. Tatta squeaked and threw his head back laughing. Thank God the King of Spades was far far away. His loud laughter would've drawn him over too quickly if the enemy was around.
"IHIHHIT TIHIHIHICKLES AHAHAHA IHIHHIT REHEHEAHAHALLY TIHIHIHICKLES!! AHAHARIHISUHUHU!" He thrashed a little as Arisu moved back up to the tops of his knees pinching that little spot right above the knee where the knee and the thigh connected, this made him snort again.
"AHAHAHAHA!!" He let himself laugh. Arisu's smile only got brighter as he kept going on that one little area.
"You're so ticklish~ I'm gonna getcha!" He squeezed one of his knees with one hand, the other still on the connecting spot.
"OKAHAHAY I CAHAHAN'T YOHOHOU WIHIHIHIN! HAHAHA!" With that Arisu stopped, granting mercy on the poor boy. Tatta giggled as he caught his breath, holding a hand to his stomach. Arisu giggled gently with him.
"You okay, Tatta?" He giggled more and nodded. "Yeah! Can you help me up though now, please?" Arisu nodded and took his hand, lifting him up and out of the car.
"Thanks"
"Of course"
There was a slight pause before Arisu spoke again. "Im serious though, you're amazing Tatta and I don't want you to ever forget that...Thank you...for everything"
Tatta smiled brightly at this before they hugged gently. "Thank you too, Arisu...for everything." Arisu rubbed his back gently before they both pulled away.
"So we're getting this car right?" Arisu asked
"Hell yeah are you kidding!? Get in! I'm not letting this baby go!" Tatta smiled and got in the driver's side.
The King of Giggles, huh? If Arisu says so...then I guess it's not that bad.

hello! wanted to say that despite your hesitation, your ‘ramble’ post was really refreshing and echoed some aspects of fandom discourse that I’ve also seen w/in fandom circles.
I’m actually less familiar w/ RGU fandom than others, but since getting back into fandom generally during the pandemic, there does seem to be a trend of ppl oversimplifying character dynamics and intensely focusing which characters are the “victims” and which are the “villains.” it feels different from what I remember as a teen in fandom—and it really constrains fandom analysis & leads to same-y, boring character interpretations :// I hesitate to generalize but it does seem concerning that ppl are so focused around valorizing characters for being, as you say, “morally pure,” by whitewashing their actions instead of engaging w/ complicated characters as they are; it’s a rather immature view of responsibility & morality, you know? oh, and speaking of, I’d be curious if you’d be willing to share the essay you read around "vilification and heroization" as the lowest form of engagement with fiction. it sounds v interesting!
anyway, I’ve really enjoyed your analyses w/ RGU. and hey, it’s good to have multiple perspectives w/in fandom too :)
hey thanks for the ask! you've described the phenomenon well. I've been frustrated by it--clearly--but at the same time, I wonder if there's a point in fighting people over it. at the end of the day, fandom is about self-gratification. that self-gratification is often achieved through identifying with characters. on a more sophisticated level, some people turn fandom into a political battleground where they are gratified by having the most enlightened reading. I want to move past self-gratification, but sitting around complaining about how "no one else gets it" is just another form of it. which is part of why I think the solution lies in not engaging in fandom anymore.
I was talking to a friend of mine about these topics this week, and I was like, I've been obsessed with media since I was a child and studying media criticism since I was a teen. it's something I really enjoy, and "media literacy" is an important skill in a world so dominated by media. but I don't know if it's actually that important in terms of living. maybe I'll put it this way: I want to increase my ability to appreciate art so that I can get more out of it, but at the end of the day, "analysis" is a hobby. I want to do it because it's fun, not to try to gain any kind of superiority.
I will keep pursuing this interest of mine even when I'm done running this blog. not to sound too desperate, but I am dying to have interesting conversations about this stuff, it's my dream to build a community around it, so please feel free to reach out any time! I'll be self-indulgent and list a couple of the more interesting analysis sources I've found recently:
RedSails.Org is a Marxist site which seems to accumulate articles from around the internet. I was searching for critiques of Breaking Bad because it ate my brain alive back in 2017 and I'm still trying to articulate why. I found this article interesting, though kinda weird, and it's where I got the "vilification and heroization" thing from. that led me to read through their entire Art and Propaganda tag. I particularly liked this piece on Ender's Game and the one titled The Banality of Genius.
PsyArt is an academic journal which focuses on the intersection of psychology and art. I found it recently while researching Freud's views on mother/daughter relationships (specifically this article). I've been happily digging through their archives since and that's led me down several research rabbit holes.
anyway, I'll leave it there, but I am super happy to talk about this stuff any time. thank you for reaching out and giving me the opportunity to run my mouth some more.

A BL Platform For Everyone
NB: Please reblog this for visibility!
A little over two years ago, me and my BL crew were in our little chat sharing recommendations.
Cat had an impressive spread sheet, Marcie and I had iCloud Notes, and it was pretty much chaos.
I looked at it and said out loud, "There has to be a better way for us to keep track of our reads and share recommendations. There has to be right?"
Cat said she wished someone would build a BL app with everything already there. Me, a developer of almost thirty years, paused while a floodlight (not a light bulb) went off in my head.
“Well I could maybe build one… cause like, I build stuff. How would that be?”
By the end of the conversation Cat had invited me to build an app for BL.
Four weeks later, in late February of 2022, digitaljuicy.com was online.
In the last couple of years, I’ve been listening to the fandom, paying attention to feedback, poured over analytics, read your responses to the Reader’s Survey and continued to craft a platform with all this in mind.
What I have been building is 100% for us... there is nothing but BL and it is an attempt to encompass ALL of BL. Not just the bits and pieces.
But for two years I've been struggling. Struggling in many ways, but specifically to get what I wanted out of the platform. I tried and failed so many times.
In September of 2022 I tried to raise venture capital to build the platform I wanted for us. I pitched it to accelerators and true blue venture capital.
Juicy is what is called 'pre-seed'. Which means were still so new and evolving, under-resourced and while there was interest, there was no joy. No funding was raised.
In December 2023, I realised it was time to rethink Juicy. i have been on the deepest dive for months rebuilding Juicy from the ground up and preparing the framework for the mobile app.
I’ve built something I want to use… and wild, I’m building it and using it as a fan at the same time. I'm at the point where it's impossible not to want to share.
And what kind of platform do I mean? At its most basic level:
You can track your reads, watches and plays
You can review and recommend the titles to the community, your friends, strangers on Twitter, your friend you're trying to corrupt outside the fandom. Your poison.
Timelines for you, for titles, for episodes, chapters… just about everything. I mean everything: The creators, the publishers, the studios, the actors... you can leave reviews and status posts on EVERYTHING. No algorithms, no force feeding... just discovery, recommendations and honest reviews by this community about our community and the industry we feed.
Collections! Lists of stuff you're reading, dropped, want to read, want to buy, love or hate, all pretty and organised and shareable..
A growing database resource of titles, tagged up to its eyeballs with a minutiae of data.. with reading an streaming links and anything else we find that we think is relevant.
But it is also a lot more than this.
I wanted it to be more than what it was. I want to turn Juicy into a mobile app, add some more functionality and more specifically, platform all of BL for its non-Asian fandom.
We get left out of so much, I feel like we need our own thing.
I don’t know about ya’ll, but I was tired of being banned on social media for sharing content. How you gonna ban me for saying a 2D fictional character needs to be shot with shite and strung with cobweb? But they did… and I know it’s not just me.
What about the creators? How do they interface with the non-Japanese or non-Korean fandoms? On which misogynistic hell site?
What about the publishers and merchandisers? What about the little Etsy sellers? Why does BL have to hidden away in the databases of mangaupdates, anisearch and anilist? Why does every single manga tracker out there seem to have pitiful listings for BL?
Is it because we’re a female or queer audience?
Look at this lil video I made:
youtube
Either way, I’ve long felt it’s time for us to do our own thing. So I’ve been building it. Pixel by pixel. Feature by feature on my own.
Juicy has been a small chat group, but I’m the only developer. We’ve always been clear about what we wanted to build: A platform for the fandom, the creators, the publishers, the merchandisers… my goal is a one-stop platform for BL and I am damn close to presenting this new iteration.
This was and remains the core of what I’m building: The largest English platform for BL on the planet. The functionality is one thing, but building a database like that is not a one-person job.
So now I need your help.
First to keep the servers online, so I can continue to build and develop and finally, finally release the mobile app. I can't tell you how much I want that.
I’m close to pushing the new Juicy 3.0 out, and I’m very in love with the work I’ve done since December. It’s a new look, and it works 1000 times better than the previous iterations of Juicy.
I just have hit a wall financially, and need your help and support to get it over the line.
Juicy's ass is fat and I been carrying her mostly alone for two solid years.
I’m going to launch a Kickstarter for this project in a bit so I can hire another developer to help with the trickier bits and fine tune the mobile app, but for now, I felt a Patreon would at least help us keep the servers up and maybe, just maybe allow us to afford a few crucial bits that will elevate your experience as a user.
And because I’m a developer, and I can do some pretty kinky shit with APIs and such, if you support this Patreon campaign, you will get some nice feature perks on the platform automagically. You won’t have to pay again to access these perks in-app later.
As many perks as I can cook up anyway, not the least of which will be access to some of the nicer functions and features I’ve already built into the platform.
When the mobile app launches, you will get it first and for free! Plus we’ve been talking about a lot of other ways we can make the platform fun beyond what I've done already.
I plan to monetise the platform in various ways, but in a profit sharing model. You contribute to the database, you contribute content, you get a share of whatever the platform makes. This is already built into the system. This will be open to anyone willing, but to Patrons first.
Finally, I'm limiting the number of people who can subscribe via Patreon to 1000 people. Once we hit that number, the rolls will be closed to new membership, and everyone directed to the platform to pay for any services or merchandise.
My goal for this group of Patrons is that you become an exclusive and tightly knit inner circle.
My hope is that you will help me actively shape what Juicy will become. Your votes and say will carry weight. Your feature requests considered and if possible implemented first.
You will get access to exclusive merchandise, exclusive giveaways and promos (like free stuff), and exclusive programming from the team.
With your help we will produce an exclusive podcast for Patrons only discussing all things BL and Juicy (honestly our conversations are generally wild and hilarious... it will be a rollick for sure), along with other content for Patrons only. We've even planned watch parties and other fun shit... I swear, we want you all to be our greatest ambassadors so we are planning as many treats as we can.
Your access on the platform will be specific to your Patreon subscription and your treatment will be VIP for the life of your subscription.
Finally, the way my auADHD are set up, I have no interest in the dramas of the BL fandom, so this is never going to be about gatekeeping access to anything. It’s about making more access possible. You can help bring us all together and make us stronger as a group.
So do you think Digital Juicy sounds like something you’d like in on?

Overthinking: The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb
Fell off reading for a bit there but I'm back, baybeeeeee
The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb is Goosebumps #5, and maybe my favorite of the series so far. It offers a perfect blend of fun and fear, and has some of the most interesting characters yet. It also breaks the mold by taking the story out of the suburbs and into an exotic locale -- the Egyptian pyramids.
Readers may be disappointed that the mummy's have remarkably little screentime in the story. If you're waiting on that bandaged fellow on the cover to show up and start causing mayhem, you'll be disappointed. But what happens instead is arguably more chilling...
First, the Plot:
Gabe's parents are small business owners in the air conditioning business, and their work takes them all over the world. This time, they're headed to Egypt and Alexandria, and Gabe gets to tag along. He's excited about it because he is obsessed with mummies. He even has a mummy hand he bought at a garage sale, that he carries in his pocket as a good luck charm.
When they're called away early to business in Alexandria, he doesn't want to go (and cut the Egypt trip short) so after some cajoling they finally agree to let him stay under the care of his Uncle Ben, an archaeologist who's working on an excavation of a pyramid.
Unfortunately for Gabe, hanging out with Uncle Ben also means hanging out with Sari, his cousin, who one-ups him at everything. She's constantly pranking him, teasing him, and bragging about how much braver she is.
Together, they visit the dig site Uncle Ben is working at, and meet a few of the other scientists working on the crew, including a guy named Ahmed. (We'll get back to him in a minute.)
A few workers at Ben's dig site come down with a mysterious ailment, so he has to leave the kids at the hotel to deal with it. Sari goads Gabe into leaving and exploring a little, so they head to a nearby museum. There they bump into Ahmed, who tells them Ben sent him to pick them up. But he insists on taking them to his car instead of walking back to the hotel -- and then starts driving the wrong direction.
The kids realize they're being kidnapped and jump out, running lost through the streets of Cairo before finally making it back to the hotel. Ben arrives soon after and they tell him what happened. He's confused but alarmed, and decides to bring them back with him to the pyramid so they can stay close.
Unfortunately, if not unexpectedly, they swiftly get separated and Gabe ends up lost down in the maze-like catacombs under the pyramid. There he falls into a chamber filled with mummies, a bubbling tar pit, and a bunch of mummy-making tools. But these mummies look strange. They're standing at attention, propped up against the wall, sitting upright. And they look fresh.
Sari and Ben do show up to save him but not before Ahmed arrives and we learn that Ahmed is responsible for the mystery ailment of the other workers. This chamber belonged to a priestess 4,000 years ago, you see, and ever since his family line has been responsible for enforcing a curse on any who trespass. These mummies are all victims of the curse, and now Ahmed is going to mummify the rest of them -- alive.
After some tense negotiations and attempts to escape, Gabe in desperation holds up his good-luck-charm mummy hand and something very strange happens. Ahmed recognizes it immediately as belonging to the very same priestess. And then the mummies in the chamber come alive and chase Ahmed down. He flees from them...and then they return back to exactly where they had been. Did they even move at all?
Well, no matter, because Gabe, Sari, and Ben high-tail it out of there and enjoy a celebratory breakfast, just in time for Gabe's parents to come home. Probably best we don't tell them what we've been up to...
Overthinking It:
It's not a secret that R.L. Stine draws inspiration from the film and television his childhood. In this case, he's even borrowed a title. The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb is a 1964 Hammer production about a mummy who comes alive to wreak vengeance on the London exhibitioners for stealing important artifacts.
The Hammer film is just one of many mummy films produced in over a century of filmmaking. Some you're probably most familiar with include The Mummy, a 1932 Boris Karloff feature, and its 1999 remake starring Brendan Fraser. (By my count there are at least five films with the title The Mummy, of which only half are remakes, so...that's not confusing at all).
The best-known mummy features follow roughly the same blueprint: A group of archaeologists or egyptologists unearth a mummy, who is brought back to life and unleashes vengeance. (Frequently reincarnation is also involved)
In many ways, Stine's book follows a similar framework, but it takes an interesting diversion in that the core villain here is not a reanimated mummy but rather a flesh-and-blood modern human fanatic. Ahmed believes that he is righteous, and that righteousness extends to committing violence against children.
Ahmed, like his ancestral forebears, is responsible for "upholding" the curse. Now, I don't think that's generally how curses work. I feel like generally speaking curses are supposed to activate automatically and deliver karmic justice. But Ahmed takes an active, murderous role -- he has admitted to mummifying people while they're still alive and boiling them in hot tar, which is horrific. I'm pretty sure that's just vigilantism, not a curse. Which makes him actually a very interesting villain. Here for a change we have a Goosebumps villain with a clear motive (punish these kids for goofing off in the pyramid) and a coherent worldview (he is the descendant of a priestess and responsible for carrying out her will) and he's simultaneously sympathetic and terrible! You love to see it.
In the end, Gabe -- backed into a corner and desperate -- invokes the power of "the summoner," an inconspicuous mummy hand. Ahmed's instant recognition of the hand as a relic of his people might be a convenient plot point, or it could be a symbol of the depth of his fanatical delusion. When the mummies come to life to attack Ahmed, Gabe shuts his eyes against the violence...and when he opens them again, Ahmed has fled and the mummies are back where they started. It's clear that Gabe perceived this as real, and equally clear that Ahmed witnessed...something. It's not explicitly clear whether Sari and Ben witnessed the event the same way.
Did Gabe actually bring the mummies to life? Was it a spectral/ghostly resurrection that did not actually affect their bodies? Was the entire thing a vision? It's entirely plausible -- and I would say, supported by the text -- that the entire thing was an illusion, and Ahmed ultimately is defeated by the power of his own fanatical imagination. And that is actually...a pretty interesting twist.
I am not qualified to say how well or sensitively Stine handles the cultural aspects of this book. It's interesting that Gabe has Egyptian grandparents, and that his uncle is an archaeologist. This entire aspect of "relationship to heritage" is glossed over in this spooky kid's book, but it is interesting. Ahmed's "exact vengeance against colonizers" shtick is less interesting, because we've seen it before (see: every TV show with a Native American character, ever).
For me, what makes The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb such an enjoyable read is the strength of its characters. Invoking the competitive cousin as a character trope is a fun change of pace, and Gabe feels real and relatable. (he's a bit whiny at the beginning but I warmed up to him). He and Sari have a fun dynamic, and she's a pretty fun character with a bit of depth as well -- simultaneously good at everything but also deeply insecure.
Ben is a refreshingly good grown-up, maybe one of the best parental figures in a Goosebumps book yet. He drops the ball a few times, but he's doing his best for having an extra kid sprung on him unexpectedly in the middle of his work week. Most importantly, despite his skepticism, he believes the kids when they tell him about Ahmed, he tries multiple times to protect and defend them, and he knows when to get serious and stop joking around.
Mummy fiction is frequently about interrogating colonialism. They often do this clumsily and imperfectly, but they make an attempt. Stine's book pays only the most cursory lip service to that concept. We're not learning any deep lessons here about injustice, and the problematic aspects of delving for mummies are glossed over. But in this context, I don't mind so much.
If You Liked This, THESE Will Really Give You Goosebumps:
Like I said, there have been a lot of mummy films. They vary in tone, with a lot of them being pretty comedic.
A lot of the most successful horror in The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb comes from being an outsider lost in a strange city where no one speaks your language and at least some of the locals would like to kidnap and murder you. If that's your jam, I'd direct you to Eli Roth's Hostel (with full acknowledgment of the absurdity of recommending Hostel on a Goosebumps post).
If it's wandering around lost in underground chambers filled with the dead and history that gets under your skin, visit the Paris catacombs in As Above, So Below.
For a fresh twist on the Ancient Egypt angle, try Stargate, which combines Ancient Egyptians with space and/or time travel. It's a trip.

Welcome to the DNI Hall of Shame. This is a blog for DNI lists that are confusing, vague, aggressive, impractical, or super picky. It's meant to shine a light on the pointlessness of DNI lists, and hopefully with some laughs here and there! :)
Run by Bean.
🌺 FAQ: 🌺
Can I submit a DNI list?
Yep! Just use the "submit" button. You can send a screen grab or text. Please censor all usernames and handles.
What kinds of DNI lists are accepted?
You can submit a DNI list if it contains one or more of the following things:
Death threats or wishes
"General criteria" or "etc"
Name-calling, dehumanization, or pejoratives
Things that are impossible to confirm from looking at someone's blog, or that isn't always readily apparent in casual conversation, such as age, gender, ethnicity, what media they like (which is not always the same as what they post on their blog), what they ship (see previous), or if they're a racist/TERF/etc
Terms that are defined incorrectly (such as defining proship as "pedo apologists")
Conflating interest in a fictional scenario, relationship, or character with "supporting it" in real life
Purity culture or kink-shaming rhetoric
It tries to check as many performative, common-sense boxes as possible
A ridiculously long list of criteria in general
Check out some posts on this blog for examples!
What isn't accepted?
Screen grabs with visible usernames/handles
DNI lists that only say "minors DNI"
What happens after I submit a DNI list?
The admin will review it and queue it for posting. Depending on how big the queue is, your submission may take a while to appear on the blog. Please be patient!
Can I put multiple images in the same submission?
Tumblr only allows you to upload one image on the submission page, but you can add the urls of other images in the text field. They will all be posted together. Please ensure the urls work prior to sending, so the admin can view them!
Why must usernames/handles be censored?
This blog operates on a strict no-harassment and no-brigading policy.
Are all submissions anonymous?
Yes! All submissions are posted as fresh posts without any identifying info. The initial submission page may ask for your username or email, but this won't be published.
Why are DNIs pointless?
Many blogs have explained this in much greater detail, but DNIs shift the onus of curating your internet experience onto other people, and makes your comfort other peoples' responsibility. They are based on the faulty presumption that you can control what others do online. You can ask people for courtesies, but they'll interact if they really want to - or if they simply don't see your DNI!
On that note, DNIs are very ineffectual on sites like tumblr, where posts are meant to be shared all over the place, on many different blogs - yet all of those interactions still show up in the original poster's notes, even if many of the people creating the notes are on OP's DNI. The definition of "interact" also changes between people, making it even harder to pin down an exact meaning and thus, how to conduct oneself. Some people define it as following and commenting on their blog, while others define it as simply leaving a "like" on some random person's reblog of a post, way off in the other corner of tumblr.
All of this is why it is better to practice healthy blocking, and simply state you will block certain people, as opposed to telling them not to interact with you, when they may not even see your DNI. After all, this site is designed for quick post sharing, and no one is going to check blogs every time they like or reblog a post... Even if they themselves have a DNI. Admin has lost track of how many people listed them in their DNI, but liked and reblogged their posts anyways!
Admin info?
Admin is in their early 30s and has been in fandom for over 15 years. No nonsense, practical, critical thinker! Here for a good time, and to poke fun at some of the super ridiculous things people get up to on social media these days.
Tags below the cut.

Ethedis for the LOTRO ask game?
(for this ask game where you send in one of my OCs, and I give you a synopsis of what it would look like if they were the main NPC in a tutorial quest)
o hmm, I think there's a way I could be a little mean about this heheh
so I think that I mentioned at some point that before the elf intro, Ethedis had actually befriended Amdir. I haven't fleshed out all that much of it up until now, but I'm thinking this could be a short adventure with Ethedis and Amdir where you could see them being besties (before The Horrors)
this will probably just have to be one instance, as it would flow best into the Elf or Human starting zones and we don't need to stack two entire intro questlines on top of each other lol
(under the cut bc How Did This Get So Long??)
I think it actually starts in Rivendell, with the Player Character (probably an elf/human only intro) preparing to leave on the expedition to Ered Luin, at which point you are introduced to Elrond's excited young apprentice Ethedis, and the Ranger Amdir who is going to tag along for part of the trip but plans to part ways in Bree.
Fast travel to somewhere in the wilderness of the Trollshaws, you Ethedis and Amdir are a little ways ahead of the group to make sure the road is clear. Surprise! wood-trolls! combat tutorial! After the fight Ethedis will remark that it was the first time she's actually had to put her combat training to the test against a real foe, which surprises Amdir, who says that he wouldn't have guessed it was her first real fight. One of them might ask the player character about their combat experience, which would allow you to pick from a few different responses (always a fun roleplay option and tbh I wish they would use it in more quests). I think if the PC says they're also inexperienced Amdir will mention that he's very glad you're both catching on quickly and didn't get hurt (bc he would not have fun explaining how he let two newbies get injured on his watch, and would feel very bad. classic protective Ranger moment)
Fast travel again to somewhere in the Lone Lands, you all are camped near Weathertop. Ethedis is talking about the history of the area (it sounds like she's been talking about this for a while now), and overall seems very excited to be here and see this historical site in person. Amdir smiles and says he's glad that she's interested in Dunedain history, as it brings him comfort to know that others still wish to keep his people's history alive. Your character might be prompted to give an opinion on Ethedis' loredump, either saying they found it boring (which Ethedis will simply laugh off and say that's probably why she's not a minstrel, but Amdir will just glare at you) or say it was interesting (which will prompt both her and Amdir to loredump even more)
Once you make it to Breeland, somewhere in South Chetwood, Amdir says that he must part ways here. Ethedis says she's sad to see him go but hopes to meet him again once the expedition to Ered Luin is done, and Amdir will tell her that he looks forward to it if such a meeting can be arranged, but tells you both to be careful in your travels (vaguely alluding to a growing danger in Breeland.
Then you can have two different outcomes depending on your race:
If you're a human, you part ways with the Ered Luin expedition at the same time as Amdir. He will bid you farewell and safe travels, and says that he has urgent business to attend to before disappearing into the woods without further explanation (as Rangers are wont to do). Your quest objective tells you to head to Bree-Town, but after you've been heading in that direction for a while you run into a large group of Brigands and get knocked on the head. Wake up in the Blackwold jail, human intro progresses mostly as normal from that point onward (but without the combat tutorial) although Amdir's quest dialogue would be different. If we want to get really mean, maybe one of the last things he says to you as himself is something along the lines of "I fear... I will not make it to see our friend again... tell... tell her that I tried"
If you're an elf, shortly after Amdir departs Ethedis will offer to explain to you the history of Edhelion as it was told to her by her mother before she left for the Havens. Then you get the old elf intro instance but cut down a bit and framed as a flashback, there will also be an elf woman there with a vaguely familiar face holding a baby in her arms (it's never explicitly stated, but that's Ethedis' mom and baby Ethedis), she will be there when Ethedis' dad Talagan brings down the library and she collapse to her knees in a sobbing heap when it happens. No one draws attention to her but she's still There. Anyway after that you arrive in Ered Luin, quests progress as normal but Ethedis is along for the ride. Like when you go to talk to the survivors of Edhelion, Ethedis will be in the ruins with some quest comments ("Even after all this time, I can sense the sorrow in this place..." "The land remembers it like it was yesterday, and I understand now why we still leave it abandoned" and "I think this may have been my parent's house. And to think, we all could have lived here together..."), she's also going to have Opinions about the Dourhand's borderline-worship of Skorgrim lol
After everything in Thorin's Hall is over with, she will disappear for a little bit but rejoin the story during the united elf/dwarf assault on Rath Tarag. When she hears that you're planning to go to Bree next, she will ask you to try to find Amdir and see how he's doing (surely you'll only have good news! surely!)
Later on you might run into Ethedis in Rivendell, and she'll have a short quest for you, talking about missing your fallen friend but finding comfort in your shared memories of him (very similar in tone to Gorwen's quest in Thornhad after finishing Before the Shadow) Amdir was the first mortal friend she knew, and she didn't realize how much this loss would sting. Overall it's a bittersweet reunion.
(man I really saw Ethedis and was like "the elf into didn't give her enough trauma. she's connected to the human one too!" someone please make me Give Her A Break)
#ty for the ask friend!#idk why this took so long lol#but! that was the last one!#ask games#lotro#Amdir#lotro oc#Ethedis

20 Fanfic Questions
I was tagged by @baronessblixen during the craziness of Fictober and I didn't get a chance to read her responses to her own questions until today. I also had the time to answer my own 20 questions. 😊
1. How many works do you have on ao3?
283
2. What's your total ao3 word count?
1,638,714. And the vast majority of those words have been written on my phone. I would say… about 95% of them. (Please imagine a blinking eye gif here, because whaaaaaat…😳)
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Mainly The X-Files, but I have written one for Sex Education and also a Mary Poppins story. (Bert and Mary were my first ship. I saw it in the movie theater in 1980 when I was five years old. Even that young, I had a little shipper heart because I wanted them to be together so badly.)
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Per Cor Meum
Soulmates
Shared Kisses
Green Is Not Your Color
After the Credits
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Yes and no. I used to be much better about it, but I so often don’t respond on ao3, but I do on social media outlets. I think it’s more the ease of it and the accessibility of a social media site. But I absolutely love and appreciate every single comment. I cry or laugh over them and always share them with my bestie. They make me incredibly happy. ❤️
6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
I don’t think I have any. I try to leave the story with a somewhat happy ending, or at least a hopeful one. That’s always my goal because… maybe there’s hope.
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Hmm… most of them. Like I said, I try to leave them hopeful and at least attempt happiness where it may not have been previously.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
I have before, but only a couple. The one that sticks with me the most though was from an anonymous person who left a comment that said when an idea is discussed on social media and a story is suggested to be written about said discussion, I’m always quick to get a story out, before giving others a chance to do the same. So as a result, I’m a horrible person who writes “insipid” stories just to say I did it first and “you just… you SUCK at it.”
When I first read that, it hurt for sure, because it made the time I spent writing a story that immediately popped into my head and would not stop begging for my attention, seem trivial and small. It made me feel as though my writing was inconsequential and I should stop wasting my time doing it. It put a dark cloud over me for a wee bit, but then I got past it, though it still sticks in the back of my head there and I think about it from time to time. But I’m still here and still writing stories, almost at 300 now, so whoever wrote that can go ahead and get fucked. ✌
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Yes I do, but not always. And I suppose by kind, it means mild or hardcore, so I would say somewhere in between. 😂
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
No. I’ve not done that as of yet.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Stolen, no. But I was approached by someone about the dialogue that I used in a story being similar to what they had written in their own story. But as I pointed out to them, it was the dialogue from the show itself, so…
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
I don’t think so.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
I have a few times! It’s fun and I enjoyed working with all the writers.
14. What's your all-time favorite ship?
Mulder and Scully for sure. I adore them so much.
15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
I have a couple that I do want to finish so badly, I just need to do it. So, I’m going to choose to say, please continue being patient with me. 😊
16. What are your writing strengths?
Humor, I think. And banter. I love writing fun dialogue and imagining the way it would be said for real.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
I think, without sounding like I’m being pompous, and also because I've been told by a few people, I’m pretty good at creating a story a person can fall into, imagine and enjoy. So, I think my personal weakness is sticking to one story until it’s done, although I’m better about it now than I was in the past. At least I think so. 😊
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I would be nervous to do it, wanting it to be perfect. If I did, I would seek out help from a native speaker so I would then get it right and not just rely on the translation feature.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
The X-Files
20. Favorite fic you've ever written?
Soulmates ❤️ I spent over a year on that story, off and on, and then six months of writing it every day, with other stories created in between. It’s the one I’m most proud of and the longest one I’ve ever written.
I'm tagging @tofuttim @agent-troi and anyone else who feels like playing.

hi dear mutual ….. this is random but i just Wanted to drop in and tell U that. my tumblr sometimes has a glitch where whenever i open it it opens to the same few posts and i have to reload it to scroll and see new ones…. and one of the like 7 posts that happens to be caught in the glitch is one of yours and it’s the one where u rbed a very sweet post that says something about Caring and Loving ur mutuals hehehe. know it was definitely not intentional but it still puts a smile on my face whenever i open this silly little site :) I HOPE U R HAVING A NICE DAY FRIEND AND ALSO U HAVE A LOT OF GOOD FOOD AND BUMP INTO A STRAY CAT!
HEY!!! even if random its still always nice to see you!! and ive heard abt some people getting stuck with that glitch, but thats super kind that it was one of mine about mutuals. i do love yall. a bunch!! it makes me happy to see my mutuals and you too around, and even though i havent been here on tumblr for long; i feel like i have a good little circle of friends for the first time. its always a little weird to me to think abt people caring about me, and quite frankly it can make me emotional at times; im super grateful for all of my friends here. they mean a bunch!! even too, if we arent in 1on1 communication. sometimes that "like" or the tags below a reblog of a post brightens my entire day, you know?? its just such a reminder that people want me around. people are kind and like me and i dont have to hide myself anymore, and im in a place where i can be silly and myself. it makes me happy to see you when i do!! you are wonderful to see around because you always reblog positivity or cute things and it makes my dash even more personalized (i never leave my "following" tab). i like to think that since we are made up of the people we love, its sort of like that for me. my dash is of the people i love (also super talented artists too).
anyway!!! im having a good day now with this. i was reading the locked tomb books (i started harrow the ninth today) and ive been texting my mutual, ghost (i dont want to tag them but theyre wonderful too) as ive been listening on all of my thoughts and rambles and theories about whats to happen since its my first time reading. its quite frankly such a rollarcoaster atm and so ive been sending so much speculation about things because i loveeee my mystery type elements to plots. trying to figure it out before the reveal. :)
hope u dont mind a super long response in return but im glad that u sent this ask and you too are having a wonderful day. <3333

I honestly need to figure out how to use Tumblr more, as it seems the magical girl community on here is more for geeking out about subjects? I run the MagicalGirloftheDay page on Twitter, and besides the Precure fans losing it over Cure Butterfly most of the other posts are fairly negative? Today I woke up to posts about servers fighting, and usually the mg discourse is about how Sailor Moon/Cardcaptor Sakura/Precure/whatever is too problematic to like, so it just leads into people hate watching old anime nonstop. It makea running the page a bit stressful, as I also notice my posts about things like art or obscure visual novels rarely get attention, but people flock my page if I state disliking views on the genre that lead into gatekeeping/spreading misinfo (ie saying all mg anime are lighthearted, must have transformations, no scifi, etc).
Years ago, I saw a lot of posts like these on here, but I rarely see them much anymore. A lot were in response to some older page called mgconfessions, where people really just used it to whine (usually) about shows nonstop and complain about what shows they think don't count as mg anime. Some posters would go as far as saying people of certain genders can't work on shows, and it lead to me leaving Tumblr for years. I see a lot of the same rhetoric on Twitter, and freqently have to shut down people bringing that behavior to my page via blocking.
As stated in the tags, it feels moreso as if none of these people actually enjoy magical girl anime? If all you're posting about is hating ships, problematic themes, or characters you hate, but still choose to engage with said media... what's the point? I don't get it, and the "mg experts" on said site follow a lot of the same behavior. Like, I run my page to talk about popular and obscure titles and characters, but people either whine when I post someone they dislike, or give no attention to new properties they've never heard of. It's a very weird, toxic way to engage with media to only be cynical about it, especially when the people who do this are in the age 15-early 20's range. I'd rather not spend my time being angry online about who ships such and such Precure and etc, but that's the main discourse and drama I have to mute and block so many for because actual positive discussions about shows on there is RARE.
#good lord people on twitter whine a lot#also this server drama is always about the same 1-2 problematic servers me and my friends left#or moreso me and a friend#magicalgirlofthedaystuff#idk it feels none of these people actually like magical girl anime and just go online to whine about them

PINNED POST
hi! don't use tumblr too much, but i plan to be more active here, so i'm making a pinned post!! disclaimer, i switch between i/me and we/us a lot in this post, but everything is meant collectively unless otherwise stated icon credits

Optimizing Your Website for Local SEO: A Step-by-Step Guide
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/ab9a22f363055ee444d153d255b7facb/9fc3e44e6628b177-93/s250x250_c1/593d0c811e93cdcf57eacd6075438b56127c5e52.jpg)
In today's online world, businesses need to stand out-both globally and locally. The essence of local SEO is mainly to ensure that your business ranks well in search results when a potential customer is looking for relevant products or services around their area. For students working toward a digital marketing course or class in Tirupur, how to understand and implement these local SEO strategies serves as a game-changer with respect to achieving higher visibility in local searches.
What is Local SEO?
Local SEO is the process of getting your website ready to pull in additional business from relevant local searches. For instance, if a user in Tirupur searches for "best coffee shop near me," local SEO would make sure that your coffee shop ranks highly on SERPs.
Why it Matters
Local SEO is very important for any business targeting audiences at a local level. It helps you:
- Increase Visibility: Appear in local search and Google Maps, highly frequented by users looking for services in their vicinity.
- Drive Local Traffic: Attract consumers who are in close proximity and ready to engage with your business.
- Improve Local Credibility: Help instill confidence among local customers through positive reviews and accurate business information.
Top Ways to Optimize Your Website for Local SEO
1. Optimize Your Google My Business (GMB) Listing
Your Google My Business listing is one of your most powerful tools for local SEO. Be certain that you are completely optimizing it by:
- Claim and Verify Your Listing: Start by claiming your business on Google My Business and then verify your information.
- Providing Accurate Information: Inculcate business name, address, phone number, and business hours. Ensure that the aforementioned details are the same on other platforms/websites under which your business has listings.
- Add Photos: Add high-quality images of the business, products, and services to make your listing more interactive.
- Leave Behind Reviews: Leave behind reviews encourage happy consumers to publish positive reviews in your GMB listing. Responding to reviews has shown that the business cares about customer feedback.
2. Use Keywords Locally
Do research on and apply locally important keywords applicable to your business and region. For example, if you have a bakery in Tirupur, the usual keywords could be "bakery in Tirupur," "best cakes Tirupur," among others. This helps ensure that the relevance of search results pertains to your location. Enroll in a digital marketing course in Tirupur today and gain in-depth knowledge on keyword research and application.
3. On-Page SEO Optimization of Your Website
Your website can be made to be locally friendly through the following ways:
- Incorporating Local Keywords: Apply locally oriented keywords in the title tags, meta descriptions, headers, and within the body of content.
- Develop Location-Specific Content: Employ the use of blog posts or specific landing pages based on local events, news, or topics relevant to your business. This is not only good in engaging your visitors but may also enhance relevance to local search.
- Add Schema Markup: Add schema markup for local business to your website, allowing the search engines to understand where your business is located and what your business does.
4. Create Local Citations
Citations are online mentions of your business on other websites. Ensure your business is listed on local directories and review sites like Yelp, Yellow Pages, and local business directories. Consistent NAP information across the platforms will help boost your local SEO.
5. Focus on Mobile Optimization
A large part of local searches is conducted on mobile devices. Make sure that your website is mobile-friendly by:
- Page Loading Speed Improvement: Faster loading pages offer a better user experience and lower bounce rates.
- Ensure Responsive Design: Your website should fit onto screen sizes with ease.
6. Engage with the Local Community
Engaging in local events, sponsorships, and involvement in community activities. The result of all these efforts will be local backlinks and mentions boosting your local SEO. Participate in, or sponsor, local events; then promote such activities on your website and social media.
7. Tracking and Analysis of Your Local SEO Performance
Start monitoring your local SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console. This helps you see how you rank in search, what kind of traffic you're driving to your website, and how the users are behaving, giving you insight into what needs change and how.
Conclusion
Optimizing your website for Local SEO is a dynamic process comprising several strategies to boost visibility locally within search. Through this, more local consumers can be attracted to the businesses of other towns and cities like Tirupur. All this will help them establish themselves in their respective markets. If interested in learning such techniques, then enrolment in the digital marketing course in Tirupur would give a hands-on feel and expertise on the same. Local SEO is not merely a fad; it will continue to be an integral part of any successful digital marketing strategy.

AI Text Adventure
At a price tag of free this would be...okay. Not great, not even good, but okay.
The freedom? Pretty cool. It reminded me of playing paperless RPGs at summer camp. We didn't have dice, so the GM just made executive decisions about what did and didn't work. Most of your stuff worked, because the GM wanted you to stick around and keep playing. And there's a wow factor to the raw tech, when you first start playing and there's a setup like a normal text adventure - It tells you the starting scenario, and it then lists three things you can do with your time in response...
But then there's a blank line under those three things that looks like a search bar. And it says, "Or just write what you want to do."
And I, feeling like the three options presented are leaving out what I want my character to do, write a 1-sentence description in the same command-sentence format like it's 2011 and I'm in the Homestuck forums. The computer thinks about this for about five or ten seconds, and then writes a description of what happens next in the story, and posts a picture.
I don't want to minimize how fuckin' cool it is that a computer can do that. I don't want to downplay the allure of this system.
It's just the story in the text adventure sucked. And the game mechanics were functionally nonexistent. And the game format ("Let's ask GPT4 to act like it's running a tabletop adventure game") lacks the memory - like literally does not have such a thing as memory for events - that would allow a normal text adventure to perform a callback to a decision you made earlier than Last Turn. And also it doesn't have a handle on the concept of ending game state. Text adventures run by GPT4 don't know when to stop the game and say Okay We're Done. So it's up to the player to decide for themselves when they've won? The last time I played a game like that it was a rambling javascript mess that the dev had been working on, off and on, for 11 years, and he'd never bothered writing a win state, only a couple situations where you could die if you were pretty determined. Mostly it was just a lot of scenarios, 2-page encounters, and then a shift to stats based on how that went. If you got to the end of the content he'd written you could only tell because you stopped finding new content.
The only blessing of the AI Text Adventure format is at least here I KNOW that's what's going to happen, if I start playing.
I'd be interested in poking at this some more, but the site I found that does it starts charging you money for the work they're offloading to GPT4 after you get about 10 pages into one of these text adventures, so...It's a technical marvel that makes a bad text adventure AND it's grossly overpriced.

Petty things that will make you my enemy on AO3 (and what you can do instead)*
When I’m into something, I like to check the entire tag. That means I sift through ALL the weird clutter. And, especially when you’re looking through an underloved fandom or tag, clutter can get really frustrating, so here’s my desperate plea to not make tags unusable. This is all personal opinion, not objective orders on what you can and can’t do. I’m just a simple fellow passenger on this bus of life, wishing you’d waited until you were off the bus to eat your tuna sandwich but helpless to stop you.
DON’T put oneshots from different fandoms as chapters in the same fic. WHY NOT? Two reasons. Let’s say you’re putting your Lord of the Rings short stories and Sherlock Holmes stories as chapters in the same fic, but you also put one Inuyasha story in there. That means EVERY TIME you add a new Sherlock Holmes short story, it’s still updating in the Inuyasha tag. This can also hurt you as an author. Somebody who loves your Lord of the Rings stories is more likely to follow something that only tells them when an LotR story is added than something that updates three times a week with stories that won’t read. The other thing is it makes it hard to find crossovers. The person who desperately wants to see Sherlock Holmes and Inuyasha meet isn’t looking for a short story collection where the two properties never intersect. There’s plenty of times where searching two fandoms will yield multiple pages of results but only one or two crossovers. The more fandoms you add, the longer it takes to scroll past, and the more people are getting flooded with stories for fandoms they aren’t in. Many people will even tag fandoms for works they PLAN to do, then abandon the project, leaving people with one, 300 word Naruto short story in 14 fandom tags. DO use multiple works in the same series. If you did all these stories for the same challenge or just like having your short stories in one place, make a series! Users can follow the entire series, or just the fandoms or pairings they like. It gets you more bookmarks and makes the site more readable.
DON’T put things in the tag that should have been a blogpost. I’m not talking art of flash fiction. I’m talking posts that are literally just you talking. The most common offender is people asking for the location of a fic they read years ago. The more annoying cousin of this is posting requests for fic you want somebody else to write, especially containing complaints that more people don’t write it This also applies to headcanon and opinion posts. I have seen a list of Starbucks orders, each about ten words and it’s own chapter, with a tag for each character. I have seen somebody just posting a series of essays about why they hate a bunch of characters (all of whom happened to be women). WHY NOT? Because this fills the tag with things that aren’t fic. I assume a lot of these are by young people without other social media or people who cut there teeth writing on blogs like LiveJournal, but AO3 is designed as a fiction archive. The more people that use AO3 to share requests and opinions, the more unusable the site becomes. It’s like going into an art gallery and running across frames that just have a sticky note that says “draw my dog“ or “I don’t like Van Gogh very much”. The more people that do it, the less of an art gallery we have. AO3 works because most of us respect that and don’t use it as a blogging platform. Even if your fic requests get more responses on AO3, it still assumes that what YOU want to blog is important enough to abuse the platform. There are blog and twitters devoted to sharing opinions and headcanons or helping people find fic. DO put these posts in places intended for these posts rather than tagging them on a fiction archive. If I can’t talk you out of it, at least consider deleting things like “find this fic for me“ requests once you find it or replies dry up.
DON’T tag use the original work tag for RPF, fanfic focusing on OCs, or anything else that has a different tag. WHY NOT? Everything on AO3 should be an original work. Plagiarism is against the TOS, so by posting, you are promising original content. The Original Work tag is explicitly for non-fandom works. RPF works have a fandom tag. Even if it’s just “My OCs in the One Piece universe“, it still only goes in the One Piece tag. It’s very hard to get nonfanfic stories out there, and AO3 is one of the few places where non-monotized, queer stories can get a lot of traction, but the Original Work tag is often like 50% mistagged fanfic. DO use the Original Work tag for, and only for, non-fanfic projects.
Thank you for not making me want to challenge you to a duel of honor and keeping AO3 usuable.
*if you wish to be my enemy in a fun, sexy way, consider writing properly tagged, well-written fic of a pairing I hate. I will be filled with rage, but have no room for valid criticism, and will stew in the rage of being unable to enjoy an excellent story as others around me enjoy it. Or, worse, be forced to bookmark fic of a pairing I hate by your excellent takes.
edit: I read a good post noting AO3 isn’t just for fiction, and my second point was overly reductive. AO3 SHOULD have a place for meta people want to archive, but I remain firm that fic requests and other ‘posts‘ are clutter

he reminds your ex who you belong to
gojo satoru ft. f! reader + exhibition ( technically phone sex ¿) + some hair pulling + unprotected sex wc: 2.3k
a/n: trying to get better with my tagging. i realize the community has it’s own sensitivities and i often fall short on that thought. i still owe some prompts and a few other asks but this has been siting in my drafts for a few weeks and i finally finished it up.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/ecce744c00b3fd0c20e92d86c24622c2/042648d36695f8a9-75/s500x750/7d819fbbddc35fd10abd3da67ff67e0791841274.jpg)
it never fails to come as an interruption in your life, the shrill call of your phone blaring at inopportune times. each one conveniently impeding on time with gojo.
your boyfriend of four months would give you that tight smile, blue eyes swimming with annoyance, but never concern. because not once did you pick up the call, always reaching out blindly to silence it without even acknowledging the accompanying messages.
the number changes, but you learned not to accept any call from one you didn’t recognize. important communications were typically followed by voicemail and that was how you dealt with that. but the duration was becoming more tedious than either of you imagined, reaching above the white noise decibel it had been reduced to.
“maybe i should just change my number, “ you suggest forlornly. it would ensure that he had no way to contact you freely, but it would also force you to reestablish connections with all your friends and family. it seemed like an extreme measure but when push came to shove.
only a few moments pass before the phone picks up again, hammering down the final nail in your resolve.
“i think you should answer.”
gojo’s unexpected intervention comes from the edge of the bed where he flips the said phone carefully from one palm to the next. his fingers brush past the two blinking options just short of selecting.
you shift from foot to foot, not sure how to accept that response. gojo was as irritated as you were but you didn’t expect him to cave first.
frowning, you shake your head. “i’m not so sure that’s a good idea.”
“why not?” his gaze sweeps over your face, somewhat amused by your discomfort. there is a swirl of mischief alight in those bright blue eyes. “apparently he needs a little more than a simple no.”
he holds out the device, voice taunting but firm.
“if you don’t answer you’ll miss the call.”
as if there wouldn't be a dozen more to follow.
your mouth feels dry, hand heavy with the weight of decision. it wasn’t as though you couldn't deal with the situation, so much as if you were prepared to. ignoring had been the more appealing option over confrontation but perhaps it had been your hesitation that had been the problem all along. ultimately your thumb taps to accept the call.
“hello?”
‘baby, i’ve been trying to reach you for ages.’
the bed creaks but you’re too focused breathing evenly to notice. you weren’t familiar with the etiquette of many break ups, which was why this one was the hardest. it had been a long love that had followed you into the early years of adulthood before spark began to fizzle out.
“i just answered to tell you to stop calling. i’ve already blocked your number once.”
the attempt to revive the romance before it all fell apart had been one-sided. he’d been quicker to discover other fish in the sea before you had. it seemed as though in your patience, you’d found something better while he spent his time chasing minnows without satisfaction.
‘yes, but you didn’t give me the chance to explain. we don’t have to be over.’
you should have seen it coming.
your shoulders tense at the press of his lips at your neck. gojo had a propensity for creating opportunities out of every little divot in life. he lived the role of a jester but held the mind of a genius. gojo had been kind in biting his lip to bare down on the jealousy simmering down beneath.
he gives you a brief grace period as his slender fingers tap the mute button then his lips return to your ear. “if you want this, get onto the bed and place the phone above your head with the speaker on.”
an immediate protest flies to your lips but doesn’t quite make it to fruition. what he’s suggestion goes beyond sexual barriers you’d set up thus far. gojo had a knack for pushing them and helping you discover new fantasies and hidden pleasures.
at the first hint of a pout against your throat, you cave.
so weak for him.
your ex seems none the wiser to the hitch in your voice as you press one knee to the bed, then the other before carefully rolling onto your back. swallowing the waning confidence before it leaks from your body, you seal the deal by placing the phone just above your head after activating the speaker.
“good girl.” the words come whispered for your benefit as gojo crawls onto the bed. as if his intentions weren’t already clear enough, the prominent hardness in his pants as he slots between your legs is. you can’t help but grow dizzy at the thought of your premeditated actions, all while your thighs tighten around his form.
his hands warm the shivers from your sides as he slides up your shirt and kisses down your navel. gojo delivers a sharp nip just before muttering a brisk,” unmute.” in reminder.
the command comes just in time for your expected response though you’re no more prepared to deliver when gojo unbuttons your pants and works them over your hips.
‘maybe if we could just meet somewhere?’
the sincerity coupled with your actions makes it all feel more one-sided with you playing the role of the villain. he’d been an ass, yes, but surely he didn’t deserve this.
right?
“it doesn’t matter, were-mmph.” no part of you expected gojo to play this fairly. you choke on the response when his tongue licks a firm swipe against the fabric of your panties.
‘what does not matter? speak to me. lets talk this out.”
funny how he chose now of all times to acknowledge the issues you had and attempted to resolve in the past.
gojo words feel condescending as he mimics what’s heard against your cunt. there was no doubt in your mind that he’d completely written off your ex from the beginning. the same confidence from your first date dripped from his touch as he worked down the fabric from your hips.
not once did he promise to watch his volume as he sloppily wets his fingers. he’s is ruthless as he plunged in two in on the first thrust, palm curling up to rub friction against your clit. any other time you would have revealed in his ability to make you come apart so easily, now you were more embarrassed by how much easier you felt.
‘is this a bad time? you seem distracted.’
every time was a bad time. that was the point.
gojo’s tongue wet the inside of your thigh, “don’t let him hang up. you want this to be his last call, remember.”
at this rate he was going to make this your last waking moment.
somewhere between a squeak and a whimper, you managed to form words against the friction of gojo’s touch sliding in and out. “no, let’s just-i- yeah, no, we should talk it out now. i’m tired of going back and forth.”
the line pauses briefly. and you almost hope for a second he reaches clarity and saves you from the embarrassment. ‘alright then. are you really not willing to give it another shot?’
your groan of arousal is disguised by disappointment but the opposite warms gojo’s breath against your damp skin. “i didn’t realize you were dating such an idiot. how can he be so dense.” his lips smack, shiny with your stimulation.” you must just really have a thing for pretty faces, willing to look past so much.”
you were willing to look past his deviousness right now, ready to let him desecrate you over the phone like this.
“you’re pretty, toru.” you try to jab but are countered with the addition of a third finger as he starts a relently pace. the sounds are so dirty, reckless suckling sounds that had to carry. gojo made sure of it as he twisted his wrist in retaliation over every shift of your hips.
“i am much prettier than they guy. much better at a lot,” he enunciates sharp smack to your thigh.
then he curls just right and you turn for face into the phone and keen.
‘seriously what is going on you sound- strained.’
gojo’s chuckle vibrates within you. “poor guys don't even know what you sound like on the verge of an orgasm.”
your voice is impossibly hoarse and not very convincing as you choke out,” i’m fine. n-no look … i only answered because i wanted us to-fuck-no sorry.” gojo wasn’t making this easy. “- wanted us to reach some closure and move on.”
gojo pulls out just short of your building orgasm and you gasp breathy at the loss.
‘we were together for two years. surely that amounts to more than just moving on.’
it did. way back when the unexpected break up had torn your hearts to shreds. the misunderstanding and lost connections had eaten you out from the inside. left you failing in the unknowns of what you did wrong and why he wanted to slow down your progress.
now it all seems insignificant in comparison the sight of your current boyfriend slowly fisting his cock.
‘you wanted to use the break to decide if you were ready for a future together and i think we both realized that we weren't-”
gojo had chosen the right moment to intervene in your life and the moment at the head of his cock pushes through the first ring. he follows through in one motion, filling you to hilt as his hand reaches up to fist the short of your hair.
‘baby, no one knows you like i do.’
the sharp sting of his fist clenching as he hips rock back is the last warning you get before he slams back in. there was more to the familiar precision as he ruts into you. gojo was the better man, but even he felt short to the green-eyed-monster.
he was relentless with his pace, fucking into you harder with each new whimper you give up. your consciousness is a fleeting cloud, wafting high out of your reach as your mouth opens up to sharp cries.
‘are you working out right now? your words sound broken.’
gojo’s hand presses into the curve of your back as he leaves over you. “fuck, you should just tell him. get this over with. let him know that you belong to someone else now. someone who is currently fucking you better than he ever could.”
your protests mirror your resolve and you can already feel your lips forming those exact words before you catch yourself. “i-i cant.” that was too much, right?
gojo didn’t seem to think so. he suddenly pulled out just enough to turn you over, hand still holding your hair hostage as he pushed your face into the mattress effectively ruining your ability to speak properly.
“tell him, or i will. and i’ll add in every dirty little thing we’ve done leading up to this moment. you don’t belong to him anymore and he should know it. properly.”
‘hey, should i just come over?’ comes that voice again, a constant glutton for punishment.
“no!” you cry out. “i-we can’t- i’m.”
gojo decides to help you out. no longer willing to be a spectator as if he could be called such. “fuck, baby. make those pretty noises for me.”
‘is that someone else? are you with someone right now.’
gojo snatches up the opportunity, hand curling around the phone to place it against the tacky sweat accumulating against the skin between your shoulder blades. you can feel it teetering with each jerk of your body.
“yeah, she is. apparently she needs help getting her point across. if she wants to contact you she will do so on her terms. “ he huffs peevishly,“ until then fuck off or you can listen to me fuck her doesn’t matter to me.”
his commanding tone shouldn’t sound so hot. you can’t help but moan as he hits that spot just right.
a high pitched ‘what the fuck’ grates unpleasantly against the mood you’re so desperate to build to its peak.
“i take it back, hearing you screech is going to make me go soft. don’t call again.”
‘wait don’t-’ his protest comes a moment too late for gojo’s waning patient as he abruptly cuts off the call and flings the phone somewhere above your head.
“I imagined that going much smoother in my head,” grunts as he picks up the pace.
your mouth falls open but nothing comes out. you’re unable to blink past the flood of light as you melt into the roll of his hips. there is nothing left for you to do but squeeze around him as you absorb each thrust.
“i don’t know what i was expecting thinking you could form coherent sentences when i fuck you stupid like this.” his voice is markedly softer now, still agitated but gentler in his touch as he loosens his grip. your head turns without instruction, eagerly catching his mouth in a sloppy kiss.
the tell tale tremble shudders from one end to the next as you dig your knees into the mattress and gyrate your hips. the angle rewards you with an opportunity to ride his cock straight into nirvana. gojo comes to shatter the already broken cry of release by manipulating speed and precision while you chant his name all the way over the edge.
his breath comes in short rasps as he follows you over, body drawn up taut as his orgasm washes over.
gojo’s weight is unforgiving, but thankfully brief when he collapses on top of you before rolling onto his side. he gathers you into his arms and rolls you in against his chest. his fingers chase yours and he brings them to his lips to kiss each one.
“maybe you should have just gone with your idea and changed numbers.”
somehow you find the air to laugh as your head falls back against his sweaty shoulder. he shares your humor, smile sharp with a new prospect.
“or perhaps we can try again? maybe repeated exposure will do the trick.”
