so a mod caused the scheduling menu to break, but only because the game started two events at the same time, which it had done once before i downloaded this mod. it deleted my event but it was a tenant revolt and my sims are shitty landlords so it took two seconds to finish (which is why it was so infuriating that it deleted my event) and it made sense in story for them to pick right before the scheduled building bonfire to protest living conditions, so i was just going to remake it an hour later, and i had to restart the game THRICE and the third time the revolt didnt happen BUT my sim was making dinner and caught on fire. and the sim i had put him out gained a fear of fire. right before the bonfire.
