i don’t know anything about film but google categorizing conclave as “thriller/mystery” is very funny to me. like yeah sure i guess. i would consider it a political/comedy/high school drama but to each their own

#again idk if there’s like an official way of categorizing movies #but personally i feel that ‘thriller’ implies that the characters are in danger of being killed and/or grievously harmed at any moment #which i just did not feel (even with the bombs lol)#it was pretty obvious that the stakes were going to be entirely contained within the confines of social interaction #and even though lawrence was on some serious sherlock shit ‘mystery’ feels even more misplaced #like what. where #conclave #this is all said lovingly btw my brain rot for this movie is insan e
