This is possibly insane and petty but there is a saw yaoi artist who draws the white guys they yaoi recognizably reminiscent of the actors and then does not put effort into accurately representing characters of colors skintones based on their actors and in the few pieces of art of the women they dont look anything like the actresses and it is IRKING me

#I DONT CARE. if you draw a character different than the actors obviously evidenced by my art lmao but the context of the other art makes it #annoying in a way i cant properly explain...like it just feels like its an afterthought.#i see the skintone problem often in iwtv show art as well and its so eyeroll. ...#like yes especially w stylized art it can be hard to like...flatten a skintone to 1 or 2 tones and i dont begrudge anyone thay #but when its a repeated thing over and over it feels like white artists just do not gaf and cant even look at a photo of who they're drawing #ie i see a lot of armand 1000 shades lighter than louis despite them having fairly similar skintones...#this is all over the place lmao sorry for vagueblogfing i dont want to start drama -_-
