opinion time, maybe it's because I'm Gaylor I see it this way. But it absolutely confuses and boggles my mind at some swifties who believe absurd theories. I'm talking about all the rep tv theories people come up with. These theories are so mathematical and unbelievable. When they predict she’ll announce it on this date, which has happened many times now, and well it never happens. They literally will say “oh the moons aligning with Venus, so this means rep tv is coming”. Every rep tv theory or even any theory about new music of hers or debut tv are such reaches. What annoys me about this is they are convinced rep tv or ts12 is coming because of these theories which often use math and equations. but God forbid she leaves simple easter eggs that she is queer, because apparently that is so unbelievable. Or maybe it just doesn't fit their narrative of her. Taylor has been so loud about her pride for years, does queer flagging which apparently to some are just colors, nothing important. But these fans know she uses clothing for easter eggs and clues, and if she wears black or snake print, they immediately say rep tv. But when she wears a bisexual wig or a lesbian dress, that doesn't mean anything. It pains me to see people ignore her being queer when she makes it so obvious.

Another thing is when she references anything historical, or a piece of literature, or a famous poet, they call her a mastermind. They also do this when she leaves easter eggs. But when she uses queer history as ways to hint her queerness, that's apparently so absurd. using queer flags and colors to show she's gay, they simply don’t believe that she would use that much historical context, or they will say she just likes rainbows. Any gay person will recognize queer elements that she leaves for us to recognize. So, it really baffle's me when they believe she can reference old poems and people but can't reference queer history. Because maybe just maybe they can't admit she is gay, so they make excuses and ignore it. Taylor is incredibly smart, so yes, she does references lots of old literature but also lots of queer history, that's what makes her a mastermind. I've quite literally seen people flip the gay references and easter eggs to something that its Cleary not to fit the narrative they have made for her. Or when she uses easter eggs that are explicitly gay they will say that Gaylor's are reaching yet their own gullible selves believe every theory about her that doesn’t include that fact that she is queer.

We had reason to believe a second rerecording was coming in 2021 specifically because we had no idea how she would go about dropping them and we didn't know about her future touring plans and we didn't even think we'd be getting new albums during the rerecording "era" and I'm pretty sure she had said what a priority they were at the time for her, a lot of us thought it was 1989 but it was Red and that was great! Then summer of 2022 we swore Speak Now and 1989 were coming, surprise! It was Midnights and we were right that she at least recorded SN and 1989 in 2022, but again in 2023 it was made obvious we were getting Speak Now TV because the egg was in the Bejeweled music video where multiple OBVIOUS signs pointed to it, including the ending of the music video where dragons flew around a castle she was standing on the balcony of and a band played an instrumental of enchanted and the next year we got Speak Now TV. At the end of the I Can See You music video where the van is driving away with speak now Taylor, a literal street sign above the car in the center of the screen said "1989tv" THAT IS AN EASTER EGG FROM TAYLOR But after every. single. album. it's been "I really thought it was rep tv", "then why has she been hinting at rep tv", "I like the new album but I want rep tv", "I wish she had given us rep tv instead", and I know they'll be the first to complain about the album and the vault songs and what she should've done or needed to do and how it needed to be done. It's the same thing people do with new albums, they shit on it a new one comes out and all of a sudden she should have done more of what she was doing before. All the people who didn't like TTPD suddenly love Midnights the album that "ruined her career" more and when TS12 comes, "even TTPD was better" will happen.

Karma: The Long Lost Taylor Swift Album

The long-lost album ‘Karma’ is potentially one of the biggest Taylor Swift conspiracy theories out there. But what is it? Where did it come from? Could it possibly be true?

It is believed by some that Taylor created an album called ‘Karma’, set to release in 2016 (all images above are fan-made or photo shoots). This album was set to be after 1989, but was scrapped to create reputation after the Kanye West and Kim Kardashian drama.

If you’re unaware of the drama, here’s a quick summary. In 2009, Kanye interrupted Taylor’s acceptance speech at the VMA’s. But after that, she forgave him and they were friendly up until February of 2016. That’s when Kanye released a song called ‘Famous’, where he says the lines “I feel like me and Taylor might still have s€x/Why?/I made that b*tch famous.”

Taylor spoke out about this lyric and said she did not consent to it. In July of 2016, Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian, released videos on her Snapchat in which Taylor seemed to approve the lyric over the phone. Taylor then stopped making public appearances and deleted all social media for the rest of 2016. This sparked the creation of reputation.

EVIDENCE OF KARMA

In the ‘The Man’ music video, a wall of graffiti is shown. Spray painted on it are the words reputation, Speak Now, 1989, Red, Fearless, and Karma. The first five are albums that are her Taylor’s Version re-recordings, but Karma seems out of place. There is also a picture of a scooter with a cross over it, referencing her leaving Scooter Braun and her old record label. There is also a sign that says “MISSING: IF FOUND, RETURN TO TAYLOR SWIFT”, referencing her stolen albums that she didn’t have the full rights to due to Scooter Braun. This all makes sense, except Karma, which is in the very middle.

Taylor started wearing a lot of orange during 2016-2017, which is believed to be the color that represents the Karma album, similarly to how pink represents Lover, gold represents Fearless, purple represents Speak Now, etc. 

In the Look What You Made Me Do music video, she wore an orange outfit while swinging in a bird cage, which may have hinted at the “in the vault” status of Karma. Also, LWYMMD features the lyric “All I think about is karma.”

In Taylor’s 73 Questions interview with Vogue, she said “Karma is real.” Many think that this is an Easter egg. For example, in Taylor’s “30 Things I Learned Before Turning 30” essay for Elle, she hid a lyric of her song Daylight, which would be released in the future as part of the Lover album. 

Taylor had been consistently releasing albums every other year up until 2016. 

2006 - Debut

2008 - Fearless

2010 - Speak Now

2012 - Red

2014 - 1989

In 2016, she didn’t release any music to continue the pattern. This leads people to believe that Karma was meant to be released, but was scrapped to create reputation, which would release in 2017.

Some people believe that Taylor may release Karma (Taylor’s Version) as a part of her Taylor’s Version series. 

Some people think she will simply release it as an album by itself, perhaps TS12.

i can't stop thinking about this necklace. i've seen some people saying it's a TS but backwards and that it's an easter egg for debut tv. and that the shoes are (again) an easter egg for reputation tv because of the snake pattern. i see how this theory would make sense but i've decided to ignore all rep tv easter eggs. and all i can see on her neck is a 12. that's a strange fashion choice. it's not the first time she wears some sort of number on her neck (the clock necklace pointing to midnight in the ttpd announcement at the grammys this year) so that is the reason why i think that is really an easter egg. and i see a 12. i have the theory that she already started creating around the theme of TS12 in ttpd (The Alchemy, So High School) so i think this is her way of saying "hey guys i'm working on TS12".

Truly do not understand why are swifties loosing their minds trying to find easter eggs?? I genuinely think the Grammys fit was a nod to Travis and not something signaling ts12, like why would the 12 gems in the earrings mean something deep?

Not to get ahead of myself, but it just occurred to me that we probably got an easter egg for TS12.

We know TTPD was conceived to be structured around Sylvia Plath's life and death and Emily Dickenson has been a huge muse for years, so it hit me when I was singing "you know how to ball/I know Aristotle" line to myself I wondered... why not a poet or literary giant like in other songs? Why Aristotle? She's never mentioned philosophers in her songs. Has she?

Then it hit me: I think she's going to move onto to philosophy from literature in her broader themes. Then I thought: was Aristotle not an athlete?

One q to duckduckgo and YEP! There are papers and more papers and books and classes taught about Aristotle and the Philosophy of Sports - more than I could count.
