Yes Vulcans losing control after a loved one has been hurt is great

But what I actually crave from a Vulcan/Human relationship is the Human being in danger and the Vulcan obviously caring a ton but still perfectly in control of their emotions and all the more terrifying for it

#platonic romantic familial whatever #could be several humans they’re going out to protect #I just like Vulcans protecting/saving Humans #in their own specific way #with determined logic and learned grace #this isn’t an animal backed into a corner #this is a sentient intelligent person with anger thrumming through their veins #but with so much willpower and level headedness that you can’t bait them #they *will* take you out in the most efficient way #Vulcans my beloved #Vulcans #humans #Star Trek #I know my default is usually romantic relationships #or fun friends relationships #but we don’t talk enough about Vulcans adopting Human children and other species similar to Humab strength #and being so careful with them #they’re all great #every type of relationship involving Vulcans is just so fantastic in my mind
