good mornin' again! in today's news, arcade meetup was happening for the first time in quite a while!!! and i really wanted to go there!!! but alas, despite wanting good things all the time, i must sacrifice some of them at times for other responsibilities -- in today's case, a full closing shift that lasted almost the entirety of the meetup's opening time... but hey, i got some neat arcaea scores for a challenge while i was there -- nothing particularly notable, but i did get a sick upscore on Particle Arts (FTR-8+, MAX-29 -> MAX-5) and almost got a PM on Redraw the Colorless World [FTR-9]...

so that would've been the end of it... until i noticed myself finishing up my work early and getting to finish in time for the earliest bus after my shift!!! i used said meetup to push myself even further in my work, and after a bit more mopping and cleaning... i clocked out and hopped straight on the bus back home!!! (but ofc, instead of going back home, i went straght to the meetup in its final hour to GAME!!!)

first off, Holy Hell my rating . hadn't played this in a while and wasn't expecting much, but now that i'd transferred over to sun+, i was already 15.99??? 0.01 away from rainbow???? god, so just one good play would've done it for me... and since i'd spawned in the ultima folder, i knew exactly what chart could satisfy that one play to rainbow... AIR ULTIMA!!!! first play went about as well as you'd expect for a sightread, sure, but then i somehow Locked In on my second play... and that's when i GOT IT!!! a 1,005,211 SS+ on Air [ULTIMA 14+] to become my new #1 play (yay i have access to a B30 now) and get me +0.02 rating to jump straight into 16.01!!!!! i've still got a long ways to upscore and grind, but let this be the start of a grand adventure in raising my rating Even More..... (ohyeah and bonus: some nijirate fanatics [WORLD'S END] to celebrate after a ruthless battle...)

took a break to play some of the other games available at the arcade (mostly Capcom VS SNK 2), but then it was my turn to hop on the maimai cab with my friend as the very last maimai set for Anyone of the day... where i then proceeded to KILL IT!!!! slaying So Hard out here!!! (nah not really, the scores are kinda ass... gotta focus more on lowers w) but also I GOT TO PLAY QUATTUORUX!!!! P[EAK!!!! WEEEEE AAAARE THEEE STAAAAAAARS FOREVER AND EVERRRR
