YEAHHHH OK SO rn i am just a vet assistant (not even an official title i basically just do whatever anyone needs me to do. answering the phone/helping with surgery which is usually anesthesia monitoring/giving vaccines/drawing blood/running labwork/taste testing dog food. heh jk/filling prescriptions/etc) and bc i work at such a small clinic i get 2 do some pretty cool stuff!! i love working with cats and big dogs bc they’re my personal favorites but i do like little dogs too. plan is to go to vet school once i finish up college 🤞 which is scary bc it is. so hard to get in to. i only plan to be a cat + dog vet. large animal medicine (like horses and cows) is not 4 me, it’s interesting and will be fun to study but i wouldn’t wanna do it. same with other animals like marine animals or birds or lizards or zoo animals like very cool but not for me!! considering whether i want to do general practice or maybe pursue a specialty (emergency, dermatology, dental, and radiology all sound kind of cool) we shall see!!!!!!!

i am guilty of not remembering muchhh bc of my short term memory 🤓🤠 so i skimmed the previous chapter and was refreshed hehe ANYWAYS wow it really has been a while since the last chapter but while reading blooming and starting palette,,, i felt this sense of familiarity with them and it's hard to describe but it's so good!!! It's like fav dramas/series/books that even when you forgot some details or a lot 😅 u have this instant bond/happiness and u still have these amazing feelings for the characters and the story!!! I'm not sure if ur getting me Rid aha it's the yapper in me but i guess the tldr is that i felt that "WE ARE SOOOO BACK MY BESTIES" like i REALLY felt it lol. And i was really happy to read cmi again ❤️‍🩹

While I do agree with others that this is also my new favorite chapter,,,,, I think that's also not true for me??? bc every chapter is my fav!!! It's really really really literally the whole story since then and everything u write is a favorite 💜

Aside from all the fluff that i loveeee, so much love for this chapter which included their friends and in a trip setting bc it's so wholesome and in relationships esp if ur the type to always go out with friends, it's fun to see everyone getting together 🫶🏼

I JUST FINISHED THE CATERPILLAR AND it did not give me same level of focus and anticipation that the Human Chair did but it's still pretty good!! I think it would do even better when illustrated visually!!

the part where the husband just bangs his head is kinda eerie to me but like what other options did he have to call attention T — T edogawa rampo seems to love sending his characters into a spiral, making them question things or like the wife in this story was overcome by a delirious-like fit ??? and that exact element reminded me of a telltale heart bc the character also slowly loses touch of reality!! (i should read more poe too, his books are more popular here than ranpo so it's easier to get a cheap secondhand copy hehe)

5. what does their tent area look like? where do they prefer to pitch their tent (next to water, covered on three sides, etc)?

- i’ve never really thought about this! i think bc in canon tav doesn’t have their own tent i just never imagined cassius having his own either, just a bedroll & he just hangs out in karlach or shadowheart’s tent before bed BUT if he did have his own tent, it would probably be towards the center of camp, where he could be near to the fire and hear the chatter/idle sounds of all his companions. his tent itself would probably be pretty simple, probably a nice green color with different dried plants/herbs hanging around, and at night he’d probably cast faerie fire or dancing lights on it just for fun lighting hehe. he doesn’t have too many belongings but what he has would def be arranged nicely, like his mom’s jewelry box, random books and scrolls that he’s picked up on their journeys so far and enjoyed, etc. but in general i think he prefers to wander around to different parts of camp and find different spots to sit, cycling between sitting by the water or up on a rocky outcropping or whatnot, like i think when he wants alone time he’s more likely to wander off somewhere than stay at his tent.

11. what are their thoughts on clowns?

- (hilarious question) i think he’s very neutral about clowns. not his thing at all but isn’t judgemental about them either.

20. if you were to try pickpocketing them, what would they be carrying?

- sooooo many random gems/bits of jewelry. his mom was an aspiring jeweler & bc they were very poor she often just made new jewelry out of old/discarded pieces, & he inherited her collection of jewelry and her passion for it after she died. he’s been collecting all the random gems and jewelry he’s found along the journey so far and if they survive the Everything his dream is to repurpose everything he found (aside from what he gives to shadowheart bc he’s gayass) into new pieces and open a jewelry shop in the city.

Hehe thank u for asking!! Honestly I used to read so much when I was younger and got really out of the habit so I have actually been trying to get back into it again lately. In that way I don't really know if I have the widest range to pull from 🥹 But overall I feel like I tend to gravitate towards books that feel sort of surreal or strange. Not even always in a fantastical way but like, weirdness sprouting in something that's typically mundane? 🫶🫶🫶 They always have the biggest impact on me. Bonus points if the imagery is visceral and poetic. Bonus points if the MC is a weird woman.

Anyway. My most recent favourite (and what could be my favourite thing I have read in the last few years) is definitely Our Wives Under The Sea by Julia Armfield. I loved it so so much. It's a perfect amount of unsettling and strange and tense but also lovely and heart wrenching and tender. I loved the way the narration was done and how parts of it feel dreamy and others almost too grounded. I'm looking forward to her next book coming out next year :~)

I also really liked Bunny by Mona Awad. My friend recommended it to me and it's like, kind of campy surrealism that is shockingly easy to get invested in. So bizarre and oddly fun.

And This Is How You Lose the Time War is worth mentioning again because it's also absolutely a favourite of mine. I know I already said I love it but it's rare specific quotes or imagery in books stick with me as opposed to events? But I think there was just something about the intimacy of the letters. I must have thought about Blue saying "I want to meet you in every place I have loved" and Red responding "I want to meet you in every place I ever loved" for months after reading 😭

buffy is absolutely my favorite character... i know its like a given but like its not just because shes the main character there are plenty of other characters i love with my entire heart and fully believe could be my favorites if buffy was not the best character of all time in the world ever... like genuinely i cant name a better woman... she means so much to me <3 but i have far too many favorite characters in the show it still hurts not to mention them... picking a favorite storyline is sooo so tough but once more with feeling is my favorite episode that one just means a lot to me and i think its super well done and does actually have some of my favorite storylines in it!!! like buffys arc during s6 means a lot to me and i love her so much... just felt very connected to her during that and think the music is really great and ties in perfectly with the actual plot and characters!! i also really love the dawn storyline its so fucked up that people hate it because they found dawn annoying she is literally just a girl. a young girl going through horrors beyond comprehension and her and buffys relationship is SO Important to me... it introduced so many things and was so good for her character in my opinion. also the whole drusilla/spike/angelus storyline is really good... the faith storyline Of Course is everything in the world ever... a lot of really good ones i could go on forever but!! favorite outfit... theres so many floating around in my head right now but i think a lot about willows scooby doo shirt, honestly so many of willows outfits, xanders i <3 dirt shirt, buffys leather jacket, her cheetah dress with it... her pink cherry skirt, her overalls, that one with the little scarf choker and the pink sunglasses, prophecy girl dress, all of faiths outfits, taras outfit in the 'under your spell' scene, anyas little pjs in that ep too... drusillas white dress and her red dress and coat <333 the red shirt and red glittery pants and coat she wears in angel... her and darlas outfits back in the day.. so many good ones im bound to leave some out :( and i must move on lest i list every outfit on the show off.. for favorite monsters i really loved hush the entire episode is great and the gentleman are so good... id also have to say the queller demon was pretty creepy and der kindestod was probably the creepiest monster on the show for me!! i remember genuinely being like ... wtf when he walked past the door that first time!! what about yours if you wanna share too? <3

i’ve just read Making Tamales with Miguel and i loved it so much! as a person from a kind of spanish background— our country was conquered by the Spaniards from 1500s to the late 1800s so some Spanish Traditions, Cultured, and Language has stuck within my country— it is absolutely true how much unofficial competition blooms whenever there is a chore at hand 😭

and funnily enough, my family and i would also make bread when we get together! so i remember a lot of memories of how i’d always try to keep up with my cousins with making bread even though i know they’re much experienced than i was since i was raised in a city.
