Media Tasting at Precious Moments x Care Bears Kumoya Cafe
Being the first of its kind co-branded, cross over pop-up café in Singapore and South East Asia, Care Bears has revealed a brand new comeback with a new character – Precious Moments. Not one, but two characters at Kumoya from 18 April 2019 to 30 June 2019. That got me really excited as there are exclusive original art created exclusively for this pop-up collaboration! Both Precious Moments and Care Bears shared the same values of caring and sharing, this pair of characters sure bring a touch of sentimentality wherever they go.

That gonna be one of the coolest burgers wearing shades in the sun. Together with the tender chicken katsu and the slightly sweet teriyaki sauce, the plate is also generously filled with crispy curly fries, garden salad, cute cheese hearts and mushroom soup with a cute print.

Media Tasting at My Little Pony x Kumoya
Step into the land of My Little Pony with happy colours and 6-star ponies including Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Twilight Sparkle. The cafe menu is inspired by these kawaii ponies specially curated by Little Miss Bento and Kumoya’s kitchen team.
If you’re new to My Little Pony, it’s originated from Equestria, a fairly new yet popular TV series and the movie released in 2017. Let’s welcome My Little Pony x Kumoya pop-up cafe in Singapore from 27 September 2018 to 30 December 2018. Feeling lucky as My Little Pony cafe is THE FIRST in part of South East Asia and Singapore.
It’s hard not to love shrimp bomb that is well-padded with bread cubes and creamy wasabi mayo sauce for dipping.
Shrimp Bomb with Wasabi Mayo at S$12.90.
Fly to the moon with your chicken katsu set on a kawaii Twilight Sparkle mantou with wings. The chicken katsu burger is filled with cheddar cheese, tomato, fresh garden salad and sandwiched between purple mantou. Glad that the mantou is softer this time round. Way prefers curly fries over regular fries, so happy when I saw these curly fries!
Twilight Sparkle Soaring Skies Chicken Katsu Burger at S$22.90.
A beautiful multi-colour butter waffle that has Japanese karaage chicken with house-made shoyu glaze, a bed of fresh garden salad. The salad has filled almost half of the plate! Hopefully, this rainbow garden salad encourages your kid to eat more vegetables.
Pinkie Pie Playful Waffles with Karaage Chicken at S$23.90.
These Insta-worthy cute lattes are not only adorable and also tasted good with fresh UCC coffee bean brew!
Better Together Hot Latte at S$9.90.
The pink frappe with colourful donut cake has caught our attention and we can’t help to order this magical drink. However, we prefer the mango milk frappe taste with magic rainbow candy band.
Magical Friends Vanilla Strawberry Frappe with Colourful Donut Cake / Friendship is Magic Mango Milk Frappe with Magic Rainbow Candy Band at S$13.90.
Let your creativity flows and designs your personal galaxy cake! The magic begins when you pour the shiny galaxy glaze over heart-shaped mango mousse cake completed with fairy dry ice mist effect.

Media Tasting at Kumoya x Tokidoki Cafe
Tokidoki Pop-up Cafe is now open in Singapore!!! It is also World’s first Tokidoki Cafe. Expect a range of KAWAII mains, special snacks in limited edition Tokidoki snacks holder, desserts, beverages and merchandise. The merchandises which include limited edition plushies and more! I’m super tempted to grab all the kawaii unicorn plushies home.
For those who are new to Tokidoki, Tokidoki is the Japanese-inspired lifestyle brand debuted in 2005 by Italian artist Simone Legno and his business partners Pooneh Mohajer and Ivan Arnold.
When I have gone to the other Japanese Restaurants they usually serve Japanese curry rice just as a sauce, no veggies, probably chicken or prawns and side of white rice. The kawaii Donutella is a cute little character and dressed up in a donut ear costume! Teriyaki flavoured Japanese rice set on Japanese curry accompanied with tempura salmon, breaded ebi, breaded scallops, calamari rings and garden salad. The teriyaki flavoured Japanese rice is not overpowering in a mild rich and fragrant curry gravy with decent seafood ingredients.
Donutella & Sweet Friends Japanese Curry Rice at S$25.90
That’s probably one of the biggest sushi I had so far! Nicely pressed sushi rice with grilled unagi, Japanese cucumber and cheddar cheese. On a bright side, I got an extra-large piece of unagi basted with a sweet teriyaki sauce and sandwiched between two slices of extra-large sushi rice.
All Tokidoki special snacks including onion rings, sweet potato, nacho cheese fries presented in a limited edition Tokidoki snacks holder.
Moofia-Protected Pressed Sushi Rice at S$24.90
Donutella is giving a sweet treat! A blend of popcorn syrup, milk and popcorn then topped with fresh whipped cream, caramel sauce and caramel popcorn. It may be too sweet for some of you. I would have enjoyed more if it is more toasty and less sweet. Honestly, I ordered this drink for the kawaii Donutella float so that I can take home. HA HA!!
Donutella Sweet Treat Caramel Popcorn Frappe at S$17.90.
A frappe made up of cheesecake syrup and blended with strawberry fruit mix and milk. Garnished with red rosebuds, fresh whipped cream and a sprinkle of little rainbow bits. Not a fan of this strawberry frappe, tasted of artificial sweeteners.
Donutella’s First Love! Strawberry Cheese Frappe at S$17.90.
What catches your eye first in this seafood ramen? For me, it’s definitely the kooky Merlion fish cake! Heard from one of the Tokidoki fans that this kooky Merlion is exclusive to Singapore. It’s so cute that we couldn’t bear to eat it! I shall feast on crayfish, scallops, ramen egg, spring onion and wakame instead.
A Lot-of-Things Lah! Merlion Seafood Ramen at S$28.90.
This is my favourite dish from Tokidoki Cafe. The chicken katsu burger is accompanied with hand-cut fries, garden salad with cute ‘bones’ fish cakes and a cute little sweet Polpettina pink mantou. The chicken katsu patty was juicy and tender, deep-fried to crispy and glazed in a sweet teriyaki sauce. We were making a guess whether the pink mantou is a plain bun. To our surprise, the custard lava flowed once we sliced open.
SANDy and Polpettina Full-of-Life Chicken Katsu Burger at S$23.90.
Hokkaido berries soft serve and special buttery charcoal waffles, kawaii Ciao Ciao heart cookies, homemade brownies, fresh berries, strawberry chocolate coated cereal crunch, fresh cream and dark chocolate sauce. The homemade brownies tasted good however we were disappointed with the hokkaido berries soft serve. It was too milky, there aren’t much berries taste in it.
Adios and Ciao Ciao’s Farewell Fantasy Charcoal Waffles at S$22.90.
As featured a special dual swirl of Hokkaido berries soft serve, handcrafted rainbow wafer bowl, rainbow wafer sticks, unicorno cookies, homemade brownies, special heart konnyaku jelly and fluffy cotton candy. Have you spotted the cutie pink Peperino at the back? Get this FREE 4.5″ Peperino or Marea plush key ring (worth S$9.90) with every purchase of this dessert! The gifts are while stocks last, grab it before it’s all gone.
The unicorn plushies that I mentioned earlier. Ain’t they kawaii?
Pssst, I heard that some of the plushies are limited edition.
Kumoya x Tokidoki Pop-up Cafe opens now to end June 2018. Kindly note that there is a dining time of 90 minutes, with a minimum spend of S$10 per person.

Media Tasting at Cinnamoroll Pop-up Cafe at Kumoya
Konnichiwa, Cinnamoroll has arrived in Singapore at Kumoya to mark the Sanrio character’s 15th anniversary. That calls for a joy for Cinnamoroll fans! Being Singapore’s first Halal-certified Japanese-French cafe with enticing mains, desserts and beverages eg. Flying Clouds Cinnamoroll Burger, Flappy Floppy Heart Chicken Karaage with Waffles, Kiss Me Sweet Cafe Latte, Hot and Rich Chocolate and more! The special menu is curated and styled by Shirley Wong, better known as Little Miss Bento, together with the kitchen team at Kumoya.
After bubbling so much, just a short intro of Cinnamoroll. Cinnamon is actually a male white puppy with fluffy, floppy and long ears that has the capability to fly. His blue eyes, pink cheeks and a cinnamon roll alike tail make him more irresistible KAWAII! Sanrio characters never disappoint and are too cute to resist. Cinnamoroll is from Sanrio and belongs in the same family as the popular Hello Kitty, Gudetama and more. Besides the cutie Cinnamoroll, don’t forget to say hi to Cappuccino, Espresso and Chiffon too.
Sorry to disappoint Cinnamoroll fans, as this is a pop-up cafe, the special menu is only available from 17 May to 13 August 2017. So hurry! Feed your eyes, tummy and camera with the adorable Cinnamoroll.
Did Cinnamoroll falls into the chocolate drink with his butt sticking out? HAHAS. It’s made with Cinnamoroll marshmallow with his iconic cinnamon roll alike tail. And tasted like hot milo with sweet marshmallow!
Hot and Rich Chocolate at S$7.90.
Fly to the sky with Cinnamoroll floppy and long ears! Crispy Chicken Katsu filled with tomato and vegetables sandwiched between the ever adorable Cinnamoroll mantou burger bun. It’s so cute to be eaten, isn’t it! I got pretty addicted to the sides; potato chips with nacho cheese and fish cakes.
Flying Clouds Cinnamoroll Burger at S$17.90.
Loves in the air with Flappy Floppy Heart Chicken Karaage with Waffles. Spotted many tomato, fluffy potato and ham hearts. It’s a sweet dining with Cinnamoroll. Besides buttery waffles, you can also expect juicy karaage chicken. Drizzle these goodies with house-made sweet shoyu glaza and refreshed with mixed salad.
Flappy Floppy Heart Chicken Karaage with Waffles at S$19.90.
Limited Edition Cinnamoroll Eclairs.

Love most of the food and dessert served here except Cinnamoroll mantou that is too thick. However they’re way too cute to resist! Do note that the menu items are not available for takeaway except for Eclairs. Cinnamoroll is well lit with many soft lights such that dining is comfortable. Don’t miss the cloud deco hanging in the midst seems like a sign to welcome all diners to the cafe. And the highlights! The plushies, wall art as well as the tables are full of Cinnamoroll and his friends! Forget all your stresses and return to the days when we were kids.
