I was tagged by the lovely @stellucis and my words were Stun, Flight, Welcome and Warning! Thank you friend!
These are all snippets from in the cracks of light, (i dreamed of you), my 03/CoS Edwin fix-it brainrot baby. Small warning for out of context spoilers!
Stun
(I didn't have "stun" so I hope "stunned" is okay!)
A sob escaped Winry as the tears overflowed. Sheâd been found out. There was nowhere to hide, now. Rose had figured out the truth. âCan I tell you a secret?â Winry looked at Rose, stunned.
Flight
The massaging hands pried her from her dream of flight and mysterious wonders in the skies. Winry groaned, trying to cling to the last remnants of sleep before consciousness dragged her out of her reverie kicking and screaming.
Welcome
Roy couldnât hold Sigâs hostile welcome against him. The man had had nothing but rancid encounters with the military whoâd ultimately played a role in the loss of Edward, and his tense back, closed features and squinting eyes suggested he at best tolerated them.
Warning
She closed her eyes and fisted Jakeâs shirt. Could she have been wrong? Had she turned a blind eye to the warning signs and seen the red flags as the burning fire of passion? Had she trapped herself in a golden cage with no way out?
Tagging with no pressure @imagenderbitches @darkpersonapeace @woahpip @elvenstar146 @curligurl0896 @isabelbriceno and whoever wants to that I forget!
Your words are: love, forget, hold, and twisted!
Enjoy!

Picture from Pedro pascals Instagram at pascalispunk.Taken in 2013.

After years of running around Colombia and the amount of informants slept with. The last thing people expected who knew Javier Peña, was to settle down.
He had found you and fell hard in love. And the same thing happened to you. After being with you, Javier had no need to go have a one night stand with any of the girls from the brothels or any informants. Because he had you.
It was quite unheard of within the DEA, Javier Peña and the domesticity of having a family.
*********************
Javier had been out for most of the day, which you were kinda glad for. You had been feeling sick since you woke up and when Javi finally left the apartment, you finally rushed to the bathroom to throw up your breakfast.
Then it hit you. Your time of the month has been far more late than normal. After throwing up, you digged out the spare pregnancy test you had at the back of the cupboard for emergencies.
"Oh fuck." You said quietly to yourself. It was positive. Neither of you had discussed the topic of kids. It was something that you wanted, but not sure if Javi wanted it.
"Hi cariño, I'm home." Javier called out,
"H-hey, I'll be out in a moment." You replied from the bathroom, quickly wiping your tears away. Walking out the bathroom, you smiled like you usually did and kissed.
"What's up honey?" He asked frowning a little,
"Oh nothing much, why'd you ask?" You replied.
"Cause I can tell you've been crying." Javier said looking at you. Sighing you placed your head against his shoulder.
"I hate how easily you read me sometimes." You pouted, and pulled him to the couch and sat him down. Letting out a shaky breath you held his hands gently in yours.
"I really need to tell you something. B-but I don't know how to say it, and I- I know we haven't discussed anything about this." You continued starting to ramble from being anxious.
"Honey, honey calm down what do you need to tell me?" He said frowning even more, stroking your hair back.
"Javi... I'm pregnant." You stated. There was a stunned silence that blanketed the apartment.
"Really?" Javier asked. You nodded and looked away tears springing back to your eyes. Javi wiped your tears away and smiled pulling you into a hug.
"I'm so happy mi amor." Javier stated,
"You are?" You asked looking up at him.
"I am cariño, we can have a little Peña running around the place." Javier responded smiling. The two of you hugged for a while and had dinner, then decided to lay in bed and relax. At some point you must have fallen asleep on top of Javi, and stayed asleep until early morning.
Your not sure what woke you up, but you could feel Javier's hand on your stomach his hand stroking his hand back and forth.
"Cariño? You ok?" You asked quietly,
"What if the kid doesn't like me? What if I do something wrong?" Javier replied.
"What do you mean?" You said frowning,
"I mean, I'm not a good person cariño. I've done things and seen things that shouldn't be seen. I've never been the best with children, I don't know how to look after something so small and innocent." Javi stated.
"Javier Peña you listen to me. You are not a bad man, yes you've seen bad shit and maybe shot a couple of people but those people were the bad guys. Not you. You will be a good father Javi, I just know it. Plus you're not the only one who hasn't had much experience with children." You explained firmly. In truth you were the youngest sibling, and the only experience you had with children was when your cousin had her baby. But you lost contact with them a while ago.
"Thank you. For putting up with me Y/N." Javier responded, nuzzling his head into the crook of your neck. You stroked his hair back out of his face, but it was evident that he had been tossing around for a while.
You started drifting off again until you felt like throwing up again. Gently rolling Javi off of you, you rushed to the bathroom to throw your dinner up. You groaned as you hunched over the toilet, then felt a pair of large hands rubbing your back.
"You ok cariño?" Javier asked worriedly,
"Morning sickness." You responded throwing up again.
"You need me to get anything for you? Water?" He said still rubbing your back gently,
"Please." You said "thank you." You continued. Javier bought you a glass of water, and let you clean yourself up before carrying you back to bed.
"Try get some sleep mi amor, neither of us have work tomorrow dont worry." Javier stated,
"M'kay love you Javi." You said drifting off to sleep.
"Te amo mucho cariño, y nuestro pequeño bebé." Javier whispered kissing the top of your head.
********************
2 months pregnant:
You were at home today and Javier was at work. And today you noticed something slightly different about your appearance. Realising what it was, you smiled and you got excited about telling Javi.
Opening the door Javi was immediately greeted by your smile and hugging him.
"Well hi there cariño, what you so happy about?" Javier asked smiling and kissing you,
"Come look." You replied dragging him to the room. When you got to the bedroom you sat him down on the bed and took your top off. Turning to the side you smiled and run your hand over your small bump.
You looked at Javi and saw his jaw drop.
"Thatâs your little kid in there mi amor." You said looking at your bump. Javi smiled and pulled you gently in front of him.
"Oye chico, soy yo tu papĂĄ. Estoy muy emocionado de conocerte dentro de unos meses." Javier stated quietly then kissing your stomach. He looked up at you with slightly watering eyes and smiled,
"We're going to have a kid cariño." He continued.
"Yeah we are. I love you so much Javier Peña." You stated kissing the top of his head,
"I love you too baby. I'm so excited." Javier replied. Out of nowhere you just got really emotional and started crying, which confused the hell out of Javi.
"Woah, woah baby what's wrong?" He said quickly standing up hugging you,
"I-im just so fucking happy. I have you and now we have our little kid. Oh im a mess, fucking hormones." You replied crying into his arms. And that what made it clear for Javi, your hormones were heightend due to the pregnancy. Javi chuckled and kissed the top of your head.
"Don't laugh." You stated quietly sniffing,
"Ok, I'm sorry baby I won't laugh I promise. Im happy to cariño." Javi replied smiling.
"But I like when you laugh its cute." You said looking at him.
You were glad to have Javi, yes he could be a bit stubborn and hard headed sometimes. But around you, he was gentle, understanding and everything you could wish for in a man. Although he had doubts about being a good father, you knew that no matter if you had a little girl or a little boy they would have him wrapped around their little finger.
**********************
4 months pregnant:
"Baby? Wake up, we need to get ready to go to the doctors." Javi said gently, trying to wake you up,
"Mhm..." you groaned and closed your eyes again.
"Come on honey, don't wanna be late to the appointment. I promise when we get home I'll run out and grab anything you're craving and we can nap." Javier stated stroking your hair back out of your face.
"Promise?" You asked leaning into his touch,
"Yeah cariño I promise. We'll go to the appointment, come home and then anything you want I'll get ok?" He replied smiling as you leaned into him.
"Ok." You smiled getting up slowly. The two of you got changed and got in the car. Arriving at the doctors, Javier could feel some anxiety radiating off of you.
"You ready baby?" He asked holding your hand,
"Yeah, im ready." You smiled at him and gave the back of his hand a kiss.
"Come on then baby." Javi said getting out the car, walking round to your side to open the door for you. The two of you sat in the waiting room for a while before getting called in. Laying there on the bed, you gasped at how cold the gel was on your stomach. Looking at the screen the doctor told you that you were going to have a little girl.
"We're having a baby girl?" Javier asked is disbelief,
"Yeah cariño, we're gonna have a baby girl to look after and love." You smiled with tears rolling down your cheeks. Getting home you cried from happiness and this was one of the only times you saw Javier cry.
"Baby can you get me pickles and ice cream please? Maybe some chocolate too." You asked him,
"Of course I can cariño. Anything else you want?" Javier replied.
"Maybe get 2 of each just incase, you never know." You said,
"Okie dokie." He responded. Javier left the apartment and came back about 20 minutes later with pickles, ice cream and chocolate.
"Here you go mi amor, got what you wanted." Javier stated coming through the door with a shopping bag,
"Thank you love." You replied smiling and getting some ice cream and pickles. The two of you sat there, with you snacking on your pickles and ice cream and Javier with his arm around you.
"We need to think of some names for our little girl." Javier stated,
"We do." You responded eating another pickle.
"Maria?" Javier started out,
"Hmm that's a bit overused I think, Isabella?" You replied.
"True, true. Isabella is a nice name. Isabella Peña. That's nice. Rosa?" Javier responded. The two of you sat there writing down names and slowly but surely got it down to the name you both liked.
"I think Isabella." You stated,
"Yeah perfect. Isabella Peña, it's beautiful." Javier replied quietly smiling. Javi slid down the bed a little so his head was by your bump, and lifted up your shirt a little bit.
"Hola Isabella, soy papå de nuevo. Solo quiero que sepas que te amo mucho a ti y a tu mamå y que siempre los protegeré a los dos." Javier whispered to the bump and kissed it. About 4 months ago at the start of your pregnancy, Javier had his doubts about being a father and how what he did would affect your daughter. But now here you were 4 months pregnant eating ice cream and pickles, and he was being so gentle with you and looking after you and your baby girl so well.
"You're going to be such a great dad Javi." You smiled running your hand through his hair,
"You think so cariño?" He looked up at you with those doe eyes of his.
"Yeah... I do. You've been looking after me so well baby, and I just know that little Isabella will absolutely adore you." You responded,
"Thank you cariño." Javier said rubbing his hand over the bump.
*********************
9 months pregnant/ due date week:
It was the week that you were due to give birth to Isabella. Javier decided that he'd take the week off before his maternity leave was due to start.
It was about 2 in the morning, when you woke up. And that's when you felt it, your water had just broken.
"O-oh no oh shit why now? Javi wake up, baby please wake up." You said pushing his shoulder,
"Carino what's wrong?" He asked you groggily, his eyes barely open.
"The baby is coming." You stated. And that one statement there got him up and awake.
"You serious right now?" He asked looking at you finding your face quite serious,
"Ohhhhhh shit. Yes I'm fucking serious." You replied having your first contraction. You looked at Javier and one of the only things he saw in your eyes was fear.
"Ok, ok I've got your bag honey. It's going to be ok I promise." Javi stated chucking jeans and a shirt on with shoes, and then helping you with some shoes.
"Javi im scared." You stated,
"I know cariño, I know but im going be right next to you the entire time. I promise." Javi replied holding your hand. Squeezing his hand as you went through another contraction, he held you up as he walked you to the car.
In the car, javi was going as fast as he could to the hospital whilst letting you hold his hand.
"Just breathe baby, you've got it." Javier said reassuring you. Getting to the hospital you were immediately given a room and pain killers to help.
"We're gonna meet our baby girl soon javi." You stated looking at him,
"Yeah cariño, any minute now we'll be holding our girl." Javi responded. You two were somewhat relaxing when you weren't having any contractions. It had been about an hour and half since your water had broke. It all seemed to by in a blur, one minute you were sleeping, the next your water had broke and now you need to push.
"J-javi go get a nurse. I really need to push." You exclaimed squeezing your eyes shut and letting your head fall back,
"Ok cariño ok, I'll be right back." Javier replied kissing the top of your head. Javi rushes out the room and finds a nurse. He came back into the room with a nurse, who were both by your side. The nurse told you to start pushing and so you did.
"Ahh fuck! J-javi I don't know if I.... if I can do it." You stated squeezing his hand as hard as you could,
"Yes you can cariño, come on you can do it. Just breathe with me, you're so strong." Javier replied stroking your hair back.
A few minutes later, and hard pushing you heard the cries of your beautiful little girl. You let your head fall back on the pillow and caught your breath.
"I told you that you could do it cariño. She's so beautiful." Javier said smiling at you and kissing you gently. The nurse bought Isabella over to you, so that you could hold her. Pulling down your gown a little bit you laid Isabella on your chest so you could have some skin to skin contact.
"Hey baby girl, welcome to the world. Oh you're so beautiful, she has your eyes miel. Big brown eyes." You smiled gently stroking your hand over Isabella's back,
"Do you wanna hold her?" You continue looking at Javi.
"Really?" Javier looked at Isabella,
"Yeah baby, she is your daughter after all." You responded giggling a little. Javier looked between you and Isabella then back to you and saw you nod. Standing up from his chair he took the shirt off that he threw on before leaving, and gently took Isabella from you.
People had told you to look out for Javier Peña when you first joined the DEA. The stubborn, hard headed DEA agent who had one hell of a reputation. But now as you saw your husband hold your little girl barely an hour old. All of that stubbornness, hard headedness and reputation had dissipated.
"Hola, cariño, es un placer conocerte finalmente. Eres tan hermosa como tu mamå." Javier speaked to Isabella quietly as he say down in the chair. You smiled and laid your head back again, eyes drooping a little bit.
"You wanna sleep for a little while? You just pushed a fucking human out." Javier asked,
"Language we have tiny human now. Yes I wanna sleep." You replied somewhat out of it, already drifting off to sleep.
"Haha ok baby, you get some sleep now." Javier chuckled.
*********************
Home:
When you were finally discharged from the hospital, you and your husband with your baby finally went back home. You got home and Javi changed the sheets on your bed from where your water broke.
Picking Isabella up, you showed her round the apartment although you knew she was in a milk coma from her feeding.
"Do you wanna put her down for her nap cariño?" You asked Javi,
"Yeah ok." Javier replied with a wide grin as he took Isabella from you. Gently Javier bounced Isabella as he made his way to her cot. Standing next to him as the two of you looked over your daughter. You smiled and placed your head on his shoulder.
"Our baby is so beautiful cariño, we did good." Javier said quietly,
"That we did. See I told you, that you'd make a good father. I have a feeling we might have a hard time saying 'no' to that cutie." You replied kissing his cheek.
"Agreed." Javier said smiling giving you a proper kiss.
Safe to say that the only people who really get to see Agent Javier Peña soft side is you his wife Y/N Peña, and his daughter Isabella Peña.

Older Batsis: Wally West
A/N: A bit of fun in time for Valentineâs Day.
Warnings: Sexual implications (no smut or anything), mature language
>>>>âââââââââ>
Entering the manor and slamming the door behind you was supposed to be like entering a world of welcoming warmth that you could melt into, not be only a degree or so lower than the frozen wasteland you'd just escaped from.
You glanced around the hallway, darkness filling the area leaving you with a frustrated sigh - power was out. Fortunately you'd mentally mapped out the floorplan over your years and navigated your way to a lounge and lit the fireplace with a content hum.
You'd shed your wet, snow covered, outer layers but with a sudden breeze you instantly regretted that decision and spun to meet the offender with a defeated huff.
"Hey beautiful, we're working on a case down in the Batcave but heard the door slam so your brothers sent me up to check on you since 'super speed' and they didn't want to move away from the heaters." The alias under the Flash crossed his arms once quoting 'super speed', offering a flirty wink which even now still doubled your heart rate.
"They s-stole all the he-heaters... Shitbags. I - I'm free-freezing Wally." You barely managed through chattering teeth, understanding that though the Manor was powerless the Batcave ran off of a different source meaning they were toasty down there.
"I could steal you one, plus you've already armed yourself with your fluffy blanket." He gestured to the item splayed in front of the fireplace to warm it up before you had the opportunity to utilise it, instead choosing to welcome you into his arms for a warm hug.
"Wa- Are you vibrating?" You disregarded his last comment in favour of your query, tilting your head at his minuscule shifting stature unsure as to whether you were just shivering.
"Yeah, keeps me warm."
"Can you do me?"
"I, yes - any day of the week - but lemme get this straight, are you asking me to be your vibrator (Y/n)?" His reply was full of smugness, you pulled back to catch his playful smirk.
"I didn't mean it like that! I meant for warmth!"
"I know, couldn't resist~" He chuckles to himself, meeting your frustrated gaze with a kind smile as it remained comfortably silent for a few seconds before you spoke.
"But - but can you, y'know, vibrate?" Your hands settled on his chest out of your sudden curiosity, tables now flipping as he became the flustered one partly due to your insinuating words which caught him off guard in its supposed innocence.
"I mean, almost all of my past partners haven't known about the speed thing so..." This was killing him, you knew exactly what you were doing and had very little shame about it either. While you seemed untroubled by his presence - ever since youâd arrived he'd been muting all vividly romantic thoughts, holding his tongue with pick up lines and resisted the urge to hold you like he'd so desperately wanted. Like he did at your house, like you did at his apartment... The Manor was dangerous territory and acting on those lustful instincts were supposedly best avoided.
Though you had alternative ideas.
"I know about your speed, and I really need warming up Wally." Your voice was seductively enticing, your lips choosing sensitive placement on his neck and he released a shaky breath reflecting the wavering if his willpower. Damn you.
"(Y/n)... your brothers w-" It came after a satisfied moan, Wally biting his lip and gently parting from yours before attempting a weak justification he had absolutely no belief in.
"Won't miss you too much." You finished for him, kissing his jaw and awaiting his response.
"And you?"
"I'll show you how much I missed you~"
In the next instance you felt soft silky fur of your blanket against your back, Wally hovering above you with the fire dancing in his irises and illuminating his skin in a brilliant golden glow - you swore he never looked more attractive. It was rather ironic, who'd have thought losing clothes would make your temperature skyrocket?
.
Back in the Batcave, Dick barely caught the dash of his friend, now shirtless and rooting through his belongings for a spare apparently.
"Woah what happened?!"
Wally flinched at the sudden brief contact with his back and the painful sting that came with it causing him to speed a metre or so away now in a fresh sweatshirt. His healing would kick in soon.
Your beautiful, stunning, incredibly persuasive sister happened.
Dick gave him a quizzical glance, the claw marks on his best friends back obviously quite fresh and the afflicter was unknown.
"Ah - Alfred - the cat one, he kinda caught me off guard when I was with (Y/n)?" He didn't sound at all convincing but they assumed it was down to sheer embarrassment at being bested by a feline.
"Perfect, his training has paid off." Damian now fully invested in the conversation added, indicating he had an ulterior motive which was unsurprising considering the protectiveness he held over his eldest sister.
"What training?" Dick cautiously questioned, now concerned with his own safety as well as overtaken by sheer curiosity.
"Whenever West makes a move toward our sister, Alfred will attack. Clearly my training methods are effective."
"Hold up, did you make a move on our sister?!" Dick incredulously shot to his best friend, Damian now narrowing his gaze at the sighing red head.
God yes, multiple pleasurable moves.
"I hugged her." Not a lie, but not a full truth either, those was better left private but Damian wasn't fully convinced and made a step toward the stairway.
"Hmm, how about we ask (L/n) then?"
"No don't! Uh - she's asleep in front of the fire and looks really peaceful." He began protectively, speeding over to block the Robins exit before becoming flustered when explaining his reasoning.
"That why you were gone so long?" Grayson raised a brow, noting the odd behaviours and body language but ultimately didnât dwell on it.
No, things got way hotter than originally planned.
"Yeah, I helped her find some blankets and start the fire. Then we caught up a bit, we havenât seen each other in almost two weeks."
They displayed disinterested at this point, content in knowing theyâre worst fears hadnât been realised.
.
It was late evening when you stirred from your peaceful hour long nap, instinctively your fingers reached across the array of soft blankets finding only empty warmth. With a soft smile youâd concluded Wally had waited until youâd fallen asleep in his arms before heading back down to the Batcave, knowing him heâd probably remained a little longer simply enjoying the afterglow and warmth that followed such intimacy with you.
A pleased sigh escaped your lips when you moved to stand, the aching of your leg muscles a rather welcomed one in your opinion - regardless, as you already donned Wallys hoodie you dressed yourself fully before heading down to the cave.
"Why are you wearing Wallys hoodie?" Stephanie inquired somewhat suggestively the moment you entered, eyebrows wriggling as an indicator.
"Hmm, oh well after having sex by the fire it was the closest thing to me so logically I was too lazy to get anything else." You boredly sighed, Wally paling at your sheer lack of secrecy whereas Spoiler wasn't expecting such an open answer leaving her speechless.
Despite hating how brutally honest you were, the way you worded it so unbelievably paid off and consecutively too.
"No seriously though." Dick tried again, dismissing your last answer like usual whenever youâd given such brash replies regarding your activities.
It was rather ingenious actually, if they ever found out about Wally then they couldn't blame either of you for not telling them because, in fact, you consistently did - it's not your fault they didnât believe you.
"Seriously. I genuinely just made love to your best friend." There wasn't a hint of misleading this time, expression casual with a smug nod to Dick who only rolled his eyes.
"Hey babe, you know they'd murder me right?" The speedster indicated to Damian carefully sharpening his katana, though his overuse of pet names meant your family paid no mind to them any more.
"They'd have to get through me first." You wink at him, your brothers scoffing at the thought even if they knew you were being honest.
Even so, you linked your arm with the speedsters despite his hesitancy at displaying any form of contact in the presence of your family - but you were good friends, a fact your family knew all too well.
âWanna have a rather late dinner at my place tonight?â
âSounds perfect, would you like me to get takeout or should we attempt a recipe?â Wally relaxed at the casual tone of voice, one he found familiarity in as you both left wrapped up in conversation.
Not an unusual occurrence really, but still, that didnât cease the racing minds of the young detectives that remained.
.
It was a few moments, Damianâs glare solely focused on the two of you happily retreating, before some spark of realisation surged through him.
"Wait... There were no claw marks on his hoodie..."
"Meaning when Alfred got to him, he wasn't wearing it so - WALLY!" Dick finished, shooting after his best friend who had probably already swept you off by now - Damian more than willing to take the war to your apartment.
"The cat was happily wrapped in Wallys hoodie so it couldn't have attacked him really... Ohmygod what if it wasn't Alfred at all! Ahhhhhh~!" Stephanie clasped her hands together out of both enthusiasm and shock, low-key fangirling about the possibility despite its implications.
âUh - or maybe, the cat attacked Wally when he gave (Y/n) his hoodie to keep her warm.â Tim justified, one that supported the proficiency of Damianâs feline training and as such already semi convinced the youngest by praising his ego - the theory made sense. Dick and the youngest offered shrugs to each other before heading off to grab some files whereas Steph withheld a suspicious expression toward her partner.
âYou... Youâre covering for them. I canât believe you didnât tell me Tim! Why would (Y/n) even consult you in the first place?â She knew it was likely due to his lack of interference, that and no doubt you outrightly told him if he happened to ask the right questions which Tim had a knack for doing.
âBecause Iâm the favourite.â He offered her a smug wink, once more typing away leaving a pouting Steph with Alfred the cat purring at her leg. The creature hadnât taken in any of Robins orders or laid a claw on West and yet radiated waves of accomplishment.
âTraitor... Damian wonât be very pleased once he finds out you allowed Wally near (Y/n) kitty cat.â

H-Hotel Quickies 2 - The tale of two harems
Second quickie, this time focusing on the, admittedly, absurd harems so prevalent in two certain fandoms.Â
Adventure Time/Star vs. the Forces of Evil crossover, T/M (just heavy implications) , 2.2k
(Ao3) (twitter)
"It was the best of times, it was the..."
No, it still was the best of times, Marco Diaz thought, sipping his drink in the hotel's bar. Though he never overused alcohol, it only seemed fitting that after a wild night like this one, he had something stronger, perhaps just to make his brain juggle a bit, and remind him about the time he spent with his entourage.
- Uh, hi, do you have apple juice?
A sudden, curious-sounding voice brought his attention, as a newcomer came to the counter. He was about the same height as Marco, wore a blue shirt, and a few strands of blonde hair stuck out from under his oversized white hat that covered his head, making him look like a teddy bear. However, it was his unusually looking arm that piqued Marco's interest. It was pink, glittery, and looked vaguely mechanical.Â
The elephant barman grabbed the glass and passed it to the newcomer with his trunk.
- Thanks, man. - he replied politely, taking half the drink in one go. - Rough night? - Marco asked, pulling his chair just a bit closer. - Uh, you could say that.
The young-sounding fellow met Marco's eyes only for a moment, concentrating on his drink far more intensely as he should. Marco smiled.
- Yeah, I felt a bit like that when I first stumbled upon this place. - You have?
In a sudden move, he turned his head to Marco, looking at him with great interest. Without much thinking, he followed Marco, shuffling his stool towards him.
- Finn. Finn the human - he offered him a handshake with his distinctively non-human arm. - Uh, hi, Finn the human. Marco Diaz... Also "The human".
That information had apparently great significance to Finn, whose eyes widened even further, and the faintest of girlish screams escaped his lips. One of the glasses shattered, but the bartender remained unmoved.
- Sorry. I'm still getting used to meeting other humans. Â - Another dimension, I suppose? - Marco asked - Also, you can let go of my hand. - Oh, sorry.
Finn released Marco's right hand from his strong grip. Marco shook it a few times, wondering if any of the visible glitter would remain stuck to him.
- New arm. - Finn spoke with what he thought was a casual statement - My friend PB made it from candy and science. - And the previous one was made from sticks and stones, I presume? - Marco replied, still feeling just a bit of pain lingering in his fingers. - Heh, no. First was a grass one and the other made from metal. I miss the grass one...
He returned to his drink, unaware of Marco's gaze still lingering on him after that revelation.
- Well... I shouldn't be that surprised - Marco spoke - I used to have a monster arm. - Woah, really? - Yeah... it was a bit of nuisance... and I'm not sure if it will grow back...
He once again took a good, long look at his fingers that once was the enormous, magical sentient tentacle.
- The girls liked it though. - Maybe I could help. PB will able to get it back, Or Huntress Wizard. I don't think any others would know how to do radical stuff like that. - And thus, we have revealed "the others" - Marco smirked. Once again, Finn's face turned a darker shade of crimson, just like when Marco first talked to him. - Oh, right... So, you're with your friends? - A few. - Marco replied quickly, taking another sip to hide his excitement
They both sat in silence, staring into their glasses, until they both launched one at another, talking furiously one over the other.
- How many? - Five. - Dang, I have four. - As if that wasn't enough, Finn boy... All night though? - All night and a bit of this morning... - Nice... - Do you have wizard ladies too? - Are you kidding? Star's got a magic wand, Kelly magic hair, and H-Poo magic scissors. An I'm pretty sure Janna can do magic too... - Magic is the best, isn't it? Especially when one girl levitates over you and another...
Realising how they must look, the two men suddenly retracted from their slightly too-intimate confession hug, returning to their drinks. Though they haven't exchanged a single word for quite some time afterwards, they both knew exactly how the other must have felt, having to satisfy their parties of girlfriends.
- How do you keep going? - Marco asked, breaking the silence again - I mean, I see you're fit, but... - Heh, I'm a hero of Ooo!
Marco blinked.
- A hero of what? - Ooo. My home. - Oooh. - Not "Ooh", "Ooo" - Finn corrected him - Anyway, H-Dubs gave me this to chew.
And he pulled a bag filled with what looked like brown, phallic-shaped cookies, but upon closer inspection, turned out to be dried, sliced mushrooms, though that fact hasn't improved on their shape.
- I mean, they're not really tasty... - Finn mumbled, taking a bite - But, heh, they do work, if you know what I mean. - Oh, believe me, I do. - Marco rolled his eyes - Ever since Star found those energy drinks at Quest Buy, I have no more excuses... And there was a sale last week...
He took another sip.
- A hero's work is never done... - Marco said, stretching his arms in satisfaction. - I guess you guys use magical protection too? - What? - Protection - Marco's tone became more serious - You know, against...
Marco made a circular move around his belly, throwing a knowing look at his friend.
- Oh. - Finn replied - Yeah, I don't think we use any. - What?! - Marco almost spilled his drink, and his chair wobbled just a little bit - Dude, I mean...
He dug his hands into his pockets, and retrieved what at first looked to Finn like a a few candy wrappers, but he understood what objects the multicoloured plastic bags held.
- Ever since Star found that contraception spell in her grandma's book, we don't have to worry about it, but I can happily lend you some. - Uh, yeah, but... - Finn paused - I don't even know if I can... with any of them... You know.
And he repeated the same round moves over his flat stomach.
- I mean, PB is made of candy, Marcelline is a vampire, and Flame Princess is a flame elemental. The closest is Huntress Wizard, but I think she can whip out a potion or something. She is a wizard, after all. - Oh, I get it. I haven't even thought about compatibility issues, I just want to be on the safe side. I know I could have problems with Janna, Star and Jackie, Kelly... Maybe, and Hekapoo is a whole different matter... - Marco replied, counting - Still, if you need these, you know whom to call...
Another pregnant pause fell between the two.
- Hey, speaking of your friends, where have they gone to? - Uh, I think there's a beauty salon on the lower floor. - Marco thought for a moment - Uh, or maybe the upper floor, I don't think this place works like it should. - Oh my glob! - Finn exclaimed - My girlfriends are there too!
At once, Marco sat upright, once again turning to his new buddy.
- Wait, do you think that...
His question was answered at once when the saloon doors to the bar opened, and nine stunning ladies walked in, forming an impressive, multicoloured, diverse line-up. With their bodies and spirits reinvigorated after the time spent in the spa, they arrived not as two, but one group of glamorous gals that looked like they have known each other for years.
- Marco! - Star screamed, breaking the imposing formation and rushing to the counter to throw her arms around Marco's neck - You won't believe what happened in the sauna!
She was about to continue, but then she spotted Finn.
- Oh, hi, Marco's new friend. Anyway - she turned back to her boyfriend - We met soooo many cool ladies there, and guess what! - They also are here having some fun with their boyfriend? - Marco rolled his eyes again, enjoying watching as Star's expression changed from peppy to utterly surprised. - How did you know?
Silently, Marco pointed his hand towards Finn, who only waved his hand at Star.
- Hi.
Her eyes widened as Star latched onto Finn's pinkish arm, and she let out a low moan of excitement.
- Wooooah.... You are Finn! And that's your arm! Â - Heh, yeah.
The bewilderment on Star's face changed to a sly grin when she leaned onto Finn, causing him to bend his body back just a little.
- Marcelline has told us about what you can do with that arm... and those fingers... but also the whole arm... - Heh, yeah... - Finn swallowed loudly, wondering *how* much has the girls talked with each other about their excesses. - Wait a minute, I got an idea, Marco! - Star exclaimed. - Let's see if our keys can cross-over! - Our what can what-what? - Finn raised his brow. - That's how this hotel works, man. - Marco explained nonchalantly - You just gotta roll with it.
He pulled a rustic, brass key from his pocket and reached his hand towards Finn. After a bit of fumbling in his trousers, Finn found the key to his room - a plain, green one that looked more like a plastic toy - and mimicked Marco's move. The other eight women flocked to the group, anxious to see what their men were doing, almost as if they anticipated what was about to happen.
And sure enough, when the two brought their keys together, the metal and the plastic melted in their hands, twirling around each other, forming a double helix, that after a short glow, solidified into one, bizarre looking key with two sets of teeth on opposite sides. The crowd of girls gasped, though the ones from Marco's party definitely sounded more excited than the girls that arrived with Finn, already foreseeing the nearby future.
- Analytical! Â - Finn exclaimed, as he examined the intricate key in his hands. - What's going to happen now? - Well... - Star begun, a wicked smile forming on her face. - I guess now we only have one room, Finn. - Jackie continued - And from what we've heard, you've never properly met a human girl before.
Finn almost dropped the key to the ground when he heard a smoky hot voice of Jackie behind him, and his nose nearly bumped into her cleavage when she walked to his side. He tried turning around, but met Janna, who, like Star before, was already taking interest in his right, otherworldly arm.
- Yeah, I think we can work with that... Â - she mumbled to herself, knocking on Finn's arm as if to check if it was hollow - That might be even better than what I wanted to do with Marco!
In desperation, Finn looked to Marco for help, but in turn, he also became a centre of attention for magical women that only knew about his prowess from tales. Marcelline and Huntress wizard couldn't help putting their arms around his neck and feeling the muscular body underneath his red hoodie. Meanwhile, behind them, a heated and inflamed discussion took place, between two equally fiery gals.
- I can make Finn's cum boil with these in seconds! - Flame Princess pushed her hands to her breasts, squeezing them in the process. - Oh, please - Hekapoo replied, laughing at her bosom, that objectively speaking, looked pale compared to hers - And can you multiply yourself? How long do you think Marco can last when there's three of me? - Girls! Girls!
Princess Bubblegum clapped her hands to silence the parties and gain their attention.
- I think this fortuitous meeting gives us great opportunity to solve the dilemma we've had in the spa! - Dilemma? - Marco raised his brow, looking somewhat worryingly at Finn. - What dilemma? - Well, duh! - Star took over putting her arms around their necks, bringing them closer - Which one of you is the better lover!
A realisation finally dawned on the boys, colours draining from their faces, as Star continued to cheer.
- I mean, we've spent sooooo much time discussing which one of you is longer, and thicker, better at oral, and how many times can each of you do it in a row... - to their horror, she kept counting. - I mean, we also talked about nails, hair, music and the pros and cons of replacing monarchy with democracy, but I'm not gonna lie, you were the main topic... Â - But the only objective method is a series of direct observations! - Princess Bubblegum finished, smiling at the two perplexed guys.
If Marco and Finn had anything to say against that idea, then the enthusiastic murmur amongst the other girls, all looking excited at the prospect, exchanging overjoyed and down right hungry stares between one another has successfully silenced the two. Â
- Come on, Marco, we gotta see how our rooms have merged! - Star shouted, as she lead the group of women from the bar.
Marco and Finn took one more look at each other, grabbed their glasses, and finished their drinks in one go.
- A hero's work is never done...

i asked @softbams to ramble about bambam just bc i love seeing other ppl love bambam as much as i do and now its my turn so here we go,,, warning i get soft easily,, , dont hurt me,,,,
hnggnhkgsnj so like BAMBAM right,,, heâs,,, a DORK there is literally no other word i could use to better describe him and ill have you know i may seem to throw around the word dork online, specifically here on my blog but in actuality i use it extremely sparingly for those people that are so dfjklshjkf dUmb but i love them so much??? like ill only call my closest few friends dorks, i just use it a lot here bc i post about what i love and i love!!! bambam!!!! idk ppl express their love in different ways and âi love youâ just seems so overused and meaningless and calling people a dork is just more me and honestly its the most endearing thing i could say about someone ANYWAYS so like why is he a dork??? heâs so wild in like every way my first impression of this kid was literally him spazzing on the floor and dabbing while got6 hyped him on and i was like??? THAT ONE. I WANT TO STAN THAT ONE I- I WANT THE TRASH CHILD thats literally how it went down and as you can clearly see i havenât changed lanes since,, honestly to me the most attractive trait in any person ever is stupidity, and i dont mean shitty grades i mean like their sense of humour!! someone who isnât afraid to make fun of themselves and be loud and wild and random and is just a little (or a lot) drunk on life every now and then, its just so,,, refreshing??? maybe its bc im like that and i find it hard to find people who can keep up with me in a sense but honestly with bambam its like im the one trying to keep up with him. itâs just so endearing to watch him screaming and roll on the floor and??? to watch him bambam around the place. heâs just so funny and it always makes me smile like an idiot??? and it seems like its not just me bc!! the rest of got7 seems the same!! his happiness and silliness is honestly so contagious like they call jackson the moodmaker and yeah he is (i LOVE HIM TO PIECeS hes a dork too) but like have you ever realised that like 90% of the time yugyeom is being a crackhead, bambam is like within a legâs distance away?? and i say leg bc DAMN have you seen bambamâs legs, he prides himself in his legs WITH GOOD REASON TOO and he always has to show them off with those tight ass leather pants like calm down youâre killing me here. but ofc heâll never calm down the boy has no control and i LIVE FOR IT bc its always unpredictable??? like you get bored of the same thing after a while but bambam is always so new and wild and!! keeps you on your toes!!! hes just so exciting??? and like omg i mentioned yugyeom before hE REALLY LOVES YUGYEOM (me too man, me too,,,) AND!!! ALL OF HIS MEMBERS!! like whenever the situation is tense heâd do something stupid to make them all laugh and the way he talks about his members??? its SO heartwarming to see him love them all so much?? i mean they practically raised the kid, like jackson and mark especially bc foreign line stuck together as trainees as TRAINEES do you hear this shit they have stuck together for YEARS before got7 debuted and they still love each other to death AMERITHAIKONG IS FRIENDSHIP GOALS IM SOBBING I LOVE THEM ALL SO MUCH like you know theyâre soulmates when one gets a laptop thrown at him but he still looks up to him as a hyung alkjhlkgahsdfgs ill never live that down sorry its too funny,,, also like he may be a fucking idiot at times but i dont think enough people take him seriously?? like he has this mature side to him and its so nice to see that even though we all joke that he has no chill, he does actually have it when necessary?? like!! in that recent thai interview and he talked about his mum oh my god he loves his family sO MUCH I AM SOFT literally like he bought his mum who biases jaebum lmfAO a house bc they grew up under a tin roof WHAT AN UPGRADE and he bought his sister a car and like hes so modest about his achievements too like in that one hard carry episode where he and jackson in the back of a taxi at 4am had to take turns boasting and trying not to be modest, he had to brag about his achievements, this episode was so memorable to me bc only one of them was actually about him??? he mentioned that something along the lines of 8,000 fans went to the airport in thailand to greet him but then he mentioned about the concert tickets that sold out but it was GOT7âČS concert like he had to mention his group bc they achieved that TOGETHER and like he then said he bought a house for his mum and a car for his sister like he was meant to brag about how much money he had but instead he said the good things he did so generously for his family im??? so soft??? his love for his family is SO SO SO precious (like him) and when he talked in that thai interview i was talking about earlier (i apologise that i keep changing subjects so quickly this entire thing is so messy) he talked about how his mum is the reason for his dreams to be a performer and how he wanted to provide for his family and dAMN HE DID!!! but like omfg hes so passionate about what he does??? its so so so inspiring to see, he went to korea at age FOURTEEN without knowing the language, the culture or really anything bc he went to rainâs concert and was so inspired and learned all his dances and songs and like it kinda reaches out to me bc like??? he started off as nothing but a random international fanboy and LOOK HOW FAR HES COME IT GETS ME SO EMOTIONAL!! and his mum kept on telling him that its ok if he didnt make it, that he could come home if it didnt work out, sheâd welcome him with open arms but he kept going!!! bc he loves music!!! and hes so talented!!! and hes just so passionate,,, and so determined too!! such a hard worker!! like i dont think most of you realise just how intensive trainee programs are??? like he was fourteen and training 12 hours a day, he said it was from 10am to 10pm every day, and now he gets even LESS sleep like hes constantly talking about how tired it is like let the poor baby sleep oh my god he deserves rest but apparently thats too much to ask for in the kpop industry,, but no matter how tired he is he always has tons of energy on stage and off stage to make everyone laugh and keep everyone in high spirits and like heâs actually a ray of sunshine, a precious angel, a blessing to this world oml im rambling but thats fine that was the point of this lmfao i just!! MY HEART IS SWELLING FOR HOW MUCH I LOVE HIM!! and everything he does gets me so soft like i literally have an instagram saved collection of his smile that makes me smile and not like his smirk (which is,,, whew,,, REALLY attractice im weak for smirks) but like his full teeth, face wrinkled and eyes scrunched up smiles where he looks so happy and cute and i wanna pinch his cheeks hes just SO CUTE and whenever i see him smile like that i swear 7 years are added to my lifespan and it just MAKES ME SMILE SO MUCH bambam always makes me so happy like i think my parents i convinced i have a boyfriend at the amount of random smiling i do at my phone but like 90% of the time its just bambam,, hes just so aesthetically pleasing like we all know he is the fashion KING, like his style is so stunning but like i think his visuals are highly underrated tbh he had THE most iconic glo-up of all time, i remember during early realgot7 episodes heâd talk about how he wanted to no longer be the cute/aegyo type member and he wanted to be sexy and charismatic and oH bOy iS hE sExY aNd ChArIsMaTiC,,, if only the members that kept telling him he couldnt and that he was adorable would see him now, still just as cute and squishy as before but also a fucKIGNF BEAST????? like i think every time he does that prrah in never ever a part of my soul leaves my body. idk if thats even related. but like WOW HES SO PRETTY EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM IS JUST SO ATTRACTIVE PHYSICALLY like he has rlly pretty eyes, esp w/ contacts they really just make you notice them so much more and his lips?? everyone talks about his lips but NOT ENOUGH like theyre so plump and kissable and honestly i could kiss them all day if hed let me omg is that a bruno mars lyric ANYWAYS if you do era killed us all, dont deny it, even jinyoung noticed his lips i just LOVE BAMBAMS LIPS and like his JAWLINE is so sharp it could cut a bitch it just defines his face so well and his makeup too like bambamâs makeup is always so on point, kudos to the stylist noona like its not that he needs makeup, makeup needs HIM like it compliments him so well and adds to his,, aura?? idk about you but he owns the stage, like he has this aura to him he has made the stage his bitch, heâs not on the stage he owns it do you HEAR ME???? HE!!! IOWNS!! THE STAGE!! his dancing is so mesmerising?? and his voice??? he has every ahgase wrapped around his long ass legs finger whether you like it or not. and what i was saying about makeup like without makeup he transforms into the cutest, squishiest bean that i just want to PROTECC like his dUaLiTy you can hear that about any kpop idol but still, bambams duality is so crazy, heâs just....so sOFT AND FLUFFY offstage (when he isnt screaming like a maniac, but even then,) his laugh. is so cute, and so contagious i feel like ive said that already but its not any less true and like barefaced bambam just being barefaced and wholesome and cute and????? im??? adjhgjkahkldghalkj,,,, he just,, just him smiling makes my day fUCK ive said that already but as you can see i am whipped asf for his smile i,, and also how hes so bad at aegyo when he needs to do it but he has natural aegyo when hes not?? ??? ? HES SO CONFUSING i love it honestly i love him i just ugghhhhhhh. and hes so talented too!! SUCH AN UNDERRATED DANCER GOSH he has been dancing since he was a really smol bean and HES SO SHARP AND FLUID AT THE SAME TIME like nobody appreciates his dancing as much as they should and that makes me really sad bc its so enthralling to watch him dance, he really puts his all into it you can see it, but nOBODY TALKS ABOUT IT ENOUGH???? WHERE are your fuckign eYES YALL ARE BLIND AND MISSING OUT and his voice oh my lord his voice makes me fEeL thInGs especially when he does that thing when he talks all low and raspy and his accent is attractive too and like i would pay good money just for bambam to just talk to me like that all day like sure he isnt the best rapper in the industry, jyp never really had impressive rappers until stray kids but like he does his job as a performer well and UGH HIS VOICE IM WEAK IN THE KNEES like i die on the inside every time he says baby or honey or smth like that and usually i hate those specific pet names, but have yall seen that video of him saying âgoodbye honey! awh, im your honey?â or just him saying honey in whos that or jsut AJAKLKAJKJKGFJ HIS!! VOICE!! and when he says double b i just FEEL his confidence and that aura i was talking about before now i have the habit of yelling out or at least mouthing double b along with him its actually everything??? omg and his meme game like i know i already rambled about how dumb he was but like specifically his meme game and his TWITTER OML like the whole dabbing thing, idk who started it but he made dabbing his bitch like he gave zero shits what other people thought, dAB ON THEM HATERS AMIRITE, and even on that one vlive where he claimed that dab was history he ended up saying he IS the history of dab and then dabbed in the next japan promotions with yugyeom anyways. the dab is not dead. the dab will never die. and his twitter holy fuck did you guys see the whole steven deng fiasco where he agreed to his petition to rename bambam to dabdab bc he couldnt be stopped then he INTRODUCED HIMSELF AS AKA DABDAB ON LIVE TV WHAT AN IDIOT IM SO IN LOVE and like in the video where everyone was saying you dont pick your bias, your bias picks you (bambam didnt âpickâ me, he grabbed my hair and yanked me down into hell) he fucking said âi pick youâ like hES THE KING OF FANSERVICE FOR A REASON OMG hes always flirting with his fans on twitter and calling them baby or babygirl and like at fansigns and concerts whenever a fan goes on stage with him he just flirts with them so much and calls them his queen, his everything etc, just i cant even begin to list all the times where he flirts with ahgases idk if hes naturally flirty or he just likes to give the fans what they want but BOTH IS GOOD TBH bc flirty ppl are attractive and like if its just for fanservice then that just proves how much he appreciates and cares for his fans like wow he really loves ahgase?? REMEMBER THAT CONCERT WHERE HE TEARED UP AND CALLED AHGASE âTHE BEST GIRLFRIENDS EVERâ I GOT SO SOFT HES SO GENUINE aKDFJLSJFLgdfklgjalfk and back to how stupid he is like he is also a petty ass bitch like he casually exposes his members a lot i LIVE FOR IT like the whole mark throwing a laptop thing or like other shit i cant remember off the top of my head and hes just so sassy and petty all the time like i love it so much oh my gosh sassy bam is an underrated concept bc savage jinyoung steals all the spotlight rip :(( nothing against jinyoung i love him to bits too but!! sassy!bam is just, my will to live tbh oh also can we talk about how hes literally a model like he made the camera his bitch too not just is his face gorgeous and his makeup stunning and his hair on fleek and his style amazing but like you can feel his aura through the camera too, he just stares with this LOOK its like hes actually looking at you his visuals are SO POWERFUL again not talked about enough bambam in general isnt talked about enoguh outside of being a meme and :((( it makes me sad esp when people still baby him like no hes a grown ass man hes had his glo up like have you seen him??? sure he can be effortlessly cute but also effortlessly sexy like he really is the entire package and oh my fuckign god he LOVES CATS HE REALLY IS THE ULTIMATE PACKAGE like everyone knows about pudding and latte but even before then he loved jbâs cat nora and apparently nora liked bambam more than jb and would wake him up at 9am every day and bambam would play with her for a while then go back to sleep and nora would sneak into his bed and omfg bambam and cats, two of my favourite things wow what a concept?? i just DIED when i saw his insta story updates calling his cats his babies or his sons and its just so precious i want to cry. speaking of social media again can we just appreciate that he runs most of his social media in ENGLISH, not hhe language he usually speaks (korean) or his first language (thai), but ENGLISH, just to accommodate for the international fans, hes going outside of his comfort zone and its so considerate of him and that once again proves how hes the sweetest person ever and loves ahgase so much and i feel so honoured to be an ahgase and i love BAMBAM, kunpimook bhuwakul, dabdab, double b, lilâ shit whatever you wanna call him, so much, and this got way too fucking long and random and the subjects changed too much lmao its rlly messy but like its a ramble so there you go i like bambam im out

The 2017 Hot List: InStyle's Annual Rising Stars Portfolio Of The Names You Need To Know
Bill Milner
Age: 21
Originally from⊠Surrey, UK
Youâll recognise him⊠as that kid in the hilarious Son of Rambow (Bill was only 12 when he landed the role) Heâs since gone onto to star in X-Men: First Class and Anthropoid plus this month makes his Netflix debut alongside Maisie Williams in iBoy, the streaming serviceâs first movie based on Kevin Brooksâs 2010 young adult novel, about a teenager who gains iPhone -related superpowers.
Can you remember what the first VHS or DVD you bought?
When I was 13 or 14 years old I started watching films properly. My friend and I were obsessed with Christopher Nolanâs Batman. That one of the first times I realised films could have a deeper kind of story and started to notice the difference between huge blockbusters and Indie.
Do you think Netflix is starting a whole new genre?
Yeah, the consumer is so different now. Itâs given us a great opportunity for long-form storytelling. People kind of think itâs âbingingâ if you watch three episodes on television but really thatâs like 2-3 hours, thatâs a film! And if you do that a few nights in a row youâve watched like 9 hours of a story and you are really following the characters. I would rather prefer an opportunity to do a series to really get in deep with the character. Thatâs more exciting!
What was it like making iBoy?
I was surprised how much more creative control Netflix give. They were quite happy for us to do what we wanted with regards to how far we took the language and how dark we wanted it to be.
Do you think youâre going to recognized a lot more because of its reach?
Hmmm maybe. Itâs exciting that itâs always going to be online. Like in ten years time people could still be stumbling across it.
What word do you always overuse?
Well I know that in interviews a lot of actors use word âexcitingâ which Iâm guilty of too. Like âIâm excited to work with themâ and âthis is a really exciting project!â Everything is always âexciting.â
What was the last lie you told?
Iâm much of a liar really. If I have to lieâŠhmmm I actually just avoid it. Like if someone says: âOh are you free this week?â and I just donât want to see them I just donât text them back. Itâs avoiding but also Iâm being honest.
Tell us your signature cocktail?
Whiskey sours. I made them last night. My top tip? Donât use pre-squeezed lemon juice, you have to squeeze the lemons yourself. I know itâs long but it make a big difference.
Your top three most used emojis?
That laughy-cry one. A heart. And the nail paint, for when you want to just snap someone out.
Pearl Mackie
Age: 29
Originally from⊠London
Youâll recognize her from⊠West End hit The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and BBCâs daytime soap Doctors. But youâre going to be seeing way more of her in 2017 when she makes her Doctor Who debut as Peter Capaldiâs companion.
Was acting always the career plan?
Always! Apparently when I was five my mum was washing my hair on a Sunday night before school in front of Saint Louis. Judy Garland was singing the trolley song and I turned to my mum and said I want to do that.
Where were you when you got the Doctor Who call to say youâd got it?
At home with my housemate. The whole process was mad. At the recall I read with Peter and it was all really hush hush, the whole process was like being in M15. Then my agent called me to tell me I got it. There were tears. I had to call her back and say âlook Iâve imagined that moment a lot so please can you tell me it did actually happen!â
Have you met any fans yet?
Theyâre incredible. I went to Comic Con in New York and there was a girl dressed exactly like me. The trailer I appear in is only two minutes long but she had really nailed it.
Has anyone given you any good advice?
On my first day of filming Jenna Coleman sent me a bunch of flowers with a note saying that I didnât need any advice but if she was to tell me anything it would be something that Karen has passed onto her. And that was to tell me not to eat the faggots in the canteen. They had them on the menu the other day and I was like no way!
How do you feel about Peter leaving?
Iâm so sad but Iâm just happy I got to work with him. Heâs such a generous actor. Iâm very new to camera acting and all the technical stuff and he will always check if Iâm ok. We really get into the scenes and heâs very open to my opinions.
Your go-to karaoke song?
Journeyâs Don't Stop Believing. Thatâs embarrassing.
Word or phrase you overuse?
Literally. I literally use it all the time.
Trait you value most in your friends?
Honesty. Even if I look like shit Iâd rather youâd tell me.
Monday motivation?
I love those quotes on Instagram. Mine would be âThis too shall pass.â Itâs not always going to be Monday. Just get up and go.
Go to cocktail?
Iâm a classic gin and tonic gal. I love a Hendricks with a slice of cucumber.
Blake Harrison
Age: 21
Originally from⊠London
Youâll recognise him from⊠The Inbetweeners, where Blake played the hilarious dopey Neil for seven years and last year starred alongside Catherine Zeta Jones and Bill Nighy in the cinematic remake of Dadâs Army. Next up heâs swapping comedy for drama taking on roles in ITVâs Prime Suspect prequel Tennison and BBC thriller Trust Me.
Do you still get lots of people stopping you in the street and asking you to do Neil impressions from the Inbetweeners?
Thereâs a lot. But you know, thatâs just the test of the time. I canât knock it, itâs just is what it is.
Was it hard to avoid being typecast?
Some people are so into the show that they are quite disappointed when they realize youâre not quite that character. But I feel quite lucky with my next roles. In Tennison I play a hot-tempered police officer in the 70s. And in Trust Me I play a recovering alcoholic. Thatâs really the fun of acting, playing a variety of roles with different types of people.
And now youâre venturing into directing too?
My lovely wife wrote a play and I thought Iâd love to make it into a short film. Directing was always something I had in mind but Iâm just starting and quickly learning that there is a lot more to it than I originally thought. The note sessions with my wife are interesting too!!
Whatâs your signature cocktail?
We had Christmas party last year and I made eggnog for the first time and it was delicious. I just followed a recipe off the Internet. It went down incredibly well. That was a real surprise for everyone involved.
Whatâs the most romantic thing your wife has done for you?
She tried to throw a surprise party for me but she was really rubbish at keeping it a secret. But she tried and that was romantic. I did something really great for our proposal. I made our mutual friend pretend to book a holiday to Paris and then tell us they couldnât go so did we want the tickets. Then I got my parents involved so when my wife called them to ask them to look after our daughter they were like âOh this is very last minuteâŠâ When we got to Paris I got down on one knee outside the Sacre-Coeur. She was totally shocked.
What are the most used emoji youâve got?
I donât like using them. At my age I slightly missed them. But I sometimes use the monkey covering his eyes. Maybe my vocabulary is too small but I canât think of something that describes the monkey covering its eyes in just one word.
Tom Bateman
Age: 28
Originally from⊠Oxford, UK
Youâll recognise him⊠as the violent table-smashing Robert Jekyll in ITVâs Jekyll and Hyde and as a handsome and hilarious Shakespeare in the stage adaption of Tom Stoppardâs Shakespeare In Love. Next up youâll see him playing Amy Schumerâs love interest in Snatched and he stars as Bouc in the 2017 version of Murder On The Orient Express alongside Johnny Depp.
So was acting always the plan?
I grew up in Oxford, thatâs where my fake posh accent comes from! I wanted to be a thousand different things but I didnât have the commitment to do any of them. But my family is all very creative so it stems from there. Iâve got thirteen siblings!
Hang on, what?
Iâve got a twin, weâre not identical but my baby brother actually really looks like me. And then there are 10 others. Some are half siblings.
What do they think of your career?
I come from a very modest background so when I told my parents they said: âWe canât support you but chase what makes you happy.â I think that is good advice. They were very happy that I found something that I loved doing for living.
Youâve come straight to tonightâs party from the set of Murder On The Orient Express. Whatâs it like?
Stunning! Before Christmas we were filming on a 70ft high mountain range. All the action takes place on and around the train. My character Bouc owns the train and is Poirotâs best friend. I help him in solving the case.
Youâre working with some pretty impressive co-stars?
Itâs like Hollywood royalty. Weâve got like Derek Jacobi, Judi Dench, Olivia Colman, and then thereâs Johnny Depp, Daisy Ridley and Penelope Cruz too. So itâs basically everyone! I had to do a scene which was a speech in front of the whole cast and I said âthis is like being at the at Oscars.â
In Snatched you star alongside Amy Schumer. Is she as hilarious IRL?
She is great! She is absolutely hugely intelligent and also very sensitive. A real laughing person to those around her. But she is actually quite shy if you really get to know her.
Has a co-star ever given you good advice?
You learn by seeing. Working with Judi Dench, I mean she is heaven on Earth. The way she treats people as well as acts, you think this is who I aspire to be.
Whatâs your go-to karaoke song?
I once won a competition once with Easy â Commodores.
What word or phrase do you overuse?
Probably âLots of love.â I say it to everyone!
Whatâs your go-to cocktail?
A Negroni. Go big or go home! And itâs the only one I can make.
Most used emojis?
I genuinely donât know what those are. Are they like smiley faces? I donât use those. I think theyâre shortcuts and awful. I donât really text, I like phone calls.
So youâre not into social media either?
No f**k that. I was and felt like I was selling my soul. I mean do we really need to see photos of what people are eating for breakfast?
From left â right: Sacha Dhawan, Rory Fleck-Byrne and Scott Arthur
Sacha Dhawan
Age: 33
Originally from⊠Stockport
Youâll know him from⊠24: His big James Bond moment in Live Another Day, as well as gritty crime drama Line of Duty, and the period drama for fashionistas Mr. Selfridge
When did you first describe yourself as an actor?
I used to tap dance when I was a kid and the teacher said to my parents, â His tap dancingâs not bad but he should really go into performing.â She set me up with an agent in Manchester and soon after I was cast in a childrenâs series, Out of Sight, at the age of 12. So around about then, I guess.
Does the acting bug run in the family?
No but both of my parents are singers. My Dad is huge fan of Elvis so he sings and my Mum is a beautiful Indian singer. Theyâve got more confidence to get up in front of the family than me. Because Iâm an actor, theyâre always trying to get me to do a monologue. Iâm, like, guys, no WAY.
What was the first VHS/ DVD you bought?
Making Michael Jacksonâs Thriller by Douglas Kirkland and also â this is really embarrassing â Dirty Dancing. Me and my sister used to watch it on endless repeat.
Have you ever had any on-set disasters?
Sometimes you think youâre invincible and, one time, I had to throw a guy over my shoulder. The producer said, âWeâll get you a double,â but I was insistent on doing it myself. And then I went and dislocated my shoulder.
Whatâs your go-to karaoke song?
Summer Nights from the Grease soundtrack. I might even put it on Spotify on the way home.
What word or phrase do you overuse the most?
'Imaginationâ and âmate.â I call guys and girls âmate.â It's a northern thing.
Youâve got friends coming around for drinks. Tell us your signature cocktail.
Espresso Martinis to perk everyone up a bit. Or set them up for a fall.
Whatâs the most romantic thing someone has done for you in London?
For my thirtieth, my significant other told me we were just going out for dinner. But sheâd booked a restaurant and invited all of my closest friends, which was amazing given that sheâd never even met half of them. It was perfect.
Rory Fleck-Byrne
Age: 27 Originally from⊠Ireland
Youâll recognise him⊠from films including The Quiet Ones and Vampire Academy plus this year youâll spot him starring alongside Pierce Brosnan in thriller The Foreigner.
What was the fist VHS you bought? I think it was the Lion King. I feel so sorry for adults that didnât watch it during their childhood. It is like the Lion King is our Hamlet.
Whatâs been your worst on-set disaster?
When I was doing a fight exam for a role my sword broke so I had to keep styling it out. I was trying to put it back together but couldnât. I ended up with a bit of blade in my bare hand. I think I can handle anything after that.
Has a co-star ever given you some good advice?
Pierce Brosnan. He is a very open, connected and grounded individual. He kept saying to me: âStay open, live well, be good to yourself. It was more about how I looked after myself as opposed to my career or how I acted. Just watching him was a lesson in itself really.
Whatâs your Monday morning motivation motto?
I watch Meryl Streep making her speech at the Golden Globes. That kind of shit that will get you out of bed.
Tell us your signature cocktail recipe? A Negroni. And I have just tried a chocolate Negroni for the first time. You just add a bit of Mozart chocolate Liqueur. Some mixologists think it is wrong, but I am all about it.
What are your three most used emojis? The dancing senorita, peace and the concrete face. It is so random
Scott Arthur Age: 23
Youâll recognise him from⊠his big-screen debut alongside Jack OâConnell in the harrowing The Somnambulists, and last year played the lead in Bridgend, a drama that explored a mysterious real life suicide cluster that took place in Wales. Next up he joins Shia Labeouf in Borg Vs McEnroe, that looks at the epic 1980 Wimbledon final match.
What was the fist VHS/ DVD you bought? I spent my pocket money on Wayneâs World. I loved Mike Myers as a child. And I remember going to Blockbuster with my parents and I begged and begged for them to buy the Lion King, It is my favourite Disney movie by far.
Tell us about the best advice a co-star has given you? Shia LaBeouf said to me âDo what you want and donât do anything elseâ, which is what Brad Pitt had told him. A lot of actors get told to do what ever is given to you, and as much as I think that is sound advice, I think you need to be more responsible and have your own ownership over what you do. Always do what your gut tells you, if your gut is saying no, get out of there. Your gut will always tell you what is the truth, what is real and good and what is bullshit. Donât do any old shit because you will either end up hating it or yourself in it.
Whatâs your go-to karaoke song? I am quite alternative, I like doing womenâs songs like the Beautiful South. And being Welsh, the Stereophonics. It gets the crowd going, not like there is ever a crowd!
What word or phrase do you overuse the most? In Wales we basically say the word âmunâ at the end of a sentence. So you would say something like âFor godâs sake, munâ. It is Welsh colloquialism. I swear a lot as well which is quite bad, but I read something the other day that intelligent people like to swear a lot soâŠ
Whatâs your Monday morning motivation?
I donât have my phone by my bed any more. I have an alarm clock instead. So if I am not doing anything I will just sleep and wake up when I want to wake up. If I have got work my alarm goes off, I shower, and then I check my phone. Because of this day and age, we all wake up and check our phones but I was like I canât do this any more. I struggle some times but I do it.
Whatâs your go to getting ready for a party song? If I am going to a club I quite like hip hop, maybe a little bit of Drake or Kanye West. Anything that has a good beat or base and makes you go âF**k yeah I am loving thisâ.
Hermione Corfield Age: 23 Originally from⊠London Youâll know her from⊠Mission: Impossible â Rogue Nation with Tom Cruise, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies plus war TV drama The Halcyon. This year she stars in xXx: Return of Xander Cage alongside Vin Diesel, and King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, directed by Guy Ritchie.
What was the first VHS/DVD you bought? I was given Top Cat in my Christmas stocking when I was four years old. However, I remember I had actually wanted The Aristrocats but I just wrote on my list âthe cat filmâ so I ended up with Top Cat.
What has been your most challenging role? Playing Emma Garland in The Halcyon just due to the sheer volume of it. We filmed six days a week for five months. So stamina wise definitely that.
Have you ever had any funny on-set disasters? I have spilt coffee on myself multiple times. Iâm always told to wear a dressing gown and donât and then end up almost in tears saying âI am so so sorry I have done it again!â And I corpse (film slang for spontaneous laughing) a lot as well. That is a big one for me!
What word or phrase do you overuse the most? âThatâs it.â I always say âthatâs it.â My friend from Wales is like where did you pick that up from it is so Welsh?
Whatâs your Monday morning motivation? Music. I just blast it on my speakers.
Tell us your signature cocktail recipe? I am quite good at making a mescal, lime coriander and chilli thing that I learnt in Mexico.
Eoin Macken

Youâll know him from⊠Sixteenth Century small screen romp The Tudors, TV fantasy series Merlin, and fast paced hospital drama The Night Shift
When did you first describe yourself as an âactorâ
I still feel like Iâm learning and becoming an actor. Make sense?
What was the first VHS/ DVD you bought?
The French film La Haine. I bought the special edition and I remember being very excited, because it was hard to get your hands on.
Whatâs been your most challenging role?
Killing Jesus with Kelsey Grammer, because I was playing Herod Antipas, an unlikeable character who put the thorns on Jesusâs head. It was my job to make the audience warm to him. I tried to understand him in terms of politics, how people are put in positions and you canât always necessarily judge them.
Have you had any on-set accidents?
I cut up my wrist punching a window once. I was in character and I didnât realise Iâd actually sliced it open. I carried on filming when I really should have got it seen to. When I finally went to hospital the nurse had to reopen the wound and take the glass out. She gave me a big telling off.
Whatâs your go-to karaoke song?
Ice-Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice. It canât really fail. People are genuinely amused even if youâre terrible.
What was the last lie you told?
That Iâd be at this event in five minutes when I knew I was really half-an-hour away.
What word or phrase do you overuse the most?
You know?â Itâs in every other sentence.
Whatâs your Monday morning motivation?
Give me a pot of coffee with cinnamon and a newspaper on a Monday morning and Iâm all set.
Whatâs your go-to getting ready for a party song?
Come Together by Primal Scream
Youâve got friends coming around for drinks. Tell us your signature cocktail.
Straight whisky. Then you know who youâre real friends are because theyâll drink it with you.
What are your top three most used emojis?
The smiley face with the wink, the one where the eyes look totally perplexed and the jazz hands. Usually all at once.

Youâll recognise him from⊠The OA, where he plays the terrifying Steve Winchell, the deeply troubled bully who strikes up a friendship with Prairie played by Brit Marling. Next up he stars alongside Idris Elba and Abraham Lewis in Guerrilla plus he has landed the lead role The White Princess, the highly anticipated follow-up to historical drama series The White Queen
What was the first VHS/DVD you bought? Donny Darko. It is to this day one of my favourite films. I remember I got a portable DVD for Christmas, which Iâd watch it on. Thatâs so weird because now you just watch it on your phone.
Whatâs been your most challenging role? Every role is in its own way is quite challenging, I feel like I am starting from scratch every time. It is always different approaching every character. The OA was tough in a lot of ways, physically but also emotionally which I didnât realise at the time.
What about funny on-set disasters?
This probably doesnât sound that funny, but in hindsight it is kind of. So there was a scene that we did in OA where I have my dog with me and I basically tell it to attack Prairie â which is Brit Marlingâs character. One of the dogs was extra aggressive in real life and I was told not to say attack at the end of the scene because it really would attack. It was like a three-minute scene and we got really into it. At the end I shouted âAttackâ and it did. It really went for Brit. But luckily the dog was well trained enough that he stopped mid air.
Whatâs your go-to getting ready for a party song? Itâs so corny. I didnât even realise I was this cheesyâŠbut it has got to be Drake. Any Drake tunes.
Tell us your signature cocktail recipe? I made mojitos for two years, not in my house but in an actual bar, so mojitos it has got to be.
What are your top three most used emojis? Without looking at my phone? The glitter stars one, the wave and the dancing girl in the red dress. Do you have a strategy for making it big or do you think it is all about luck? I donât know if I want to make it big in the conventional sense of being a celebrity. My strategy is hopefully to always do work that I am genuinely passionate about and scripts that I really believe in. And to think if there was no money involved would you still want to do it.
Abraham Lewis Age: 21 Originally fromâŠLondon Youâll recognise him from⊠How to Talk to Girls at Parties where he played the smooth talking Vic. Next up he stars alongside Idris Elba in Sky Atlantic political drama Guerilla.
What do your family make of your career choice?
When my mum who is an actor told my grandfather who is also an actor that I wanted to do acting too along with my sister he said âOh fuck not another one!â My dad is an actor too and he was quite cautious as knows how tough this industry is but they are all amazingly supportive now.
What has been your most challenging role? In Guerilla I play a heroin addict and had to loose 25 pounds in a month and a half to do it. And also the headspace of an addict is really weird so that left me feeling quite low at times.
What word or phrase do you overuse the most? I think everyone my age overuses the word âlikeâ. I hate it when I use it.
Whatâs your Monday morning motivation? When I was going to the gym a lot for Guerilla I started watching these YouTube videos by a guy called The Hip Hop Preacher to motivate me. He is really cool.
Tell us your signature cocktail recipe? I used to be a cocktail waiter. I make a good Dark and Stormy.
Whatâs your go-to getting ready for a party song? Young Americans by David Bowie. Whatâs the most romantic thing someone has done for you in London? For our third date my girlfriend and I went to a David Hockney exhibition For my birthday she went back and got all of the postcards of all of his paintings then wrote quotes from all of my favourite people ever on the back of each one.
Lucy Boynton
Age: 23
Originally from⊠New York, raised in London
Youâll recognize her from⊠horror flicks The Blackcoat's Daughter and Don't Knock Twice plus Sing Street, where she totally won audiences over with her portrayal of the self-proclaimed model and main love interest Raphina. Next up is a major Netflix series Gypsy and blockbuster Murder On The Orient Express.
Like Tom (Bateman) youâve come straight from the set of the Orient Express. Whatâs your character like?
I play Countess Andrenyi. Sheâs a Hungarian countess and ballerina. I get to wear some fantastic handmade 1930s costumes. Itâs all very opulent and extravagant.
That sounds pretty different from the Netflix series Gyspy youâve just wrapped in New York?
Definitely. Thatâs about a psychotherapist played by Naomi Watts who becomes too immersed in the lives of her patients. I play Alison, a drug addict. She is addicted to speed so I used to eat a lot of M&Ms for breakfast at 7am to portray that jiggy feeling and hysteria.
Did you read lots of books on psychology?
I did, Iâve always been interested in psychology and have taken classes. It helps with acting, like understanding people and why they are how they are.
Are you starting to get recognized more?
Iâm what the industry call a âplain actorâ. I have this thing where no one remembers me. Plus Iâve changed my hair colour a lot so I think that helps.
What word do you overuse?
I tend to refer to every one as âwomanâ but thatâs better than girls or hun right?
Favourite karaoke song?
I donât do it. Iâll go and support my friends but thatâs it. Iâm a cheerer. Iâll holler!
Tell us your go-to cocktail?
Aperol spritz. Every single time. Even in winter.
Whatâs your Monday morning motivation?
Iâm not a morning person. And at the moment my call time is 4am. So I just have to remind myself how much I love my job!
Alex Lawther
Age: 22
Originally from⊠Hampshire
Youâll know him from⊠Indie Brit flick, A Brilliant Young Mind, as well as The Imitation Game and the coltishly brilliant Black Mirror
When did you first describe yourself as an âactor?â
My first job was a play called South Downs at the Harold Pinter theatre in the West End and an actress in the cast turned to me and said, âIs this something you want to carry on doing?â It was the first time someone had asked me that question and it made me realise that I did. Before that I never realised it was something that would pay my rent.
What was the first DVD you bought?
Matilda by Danny DeVito. My friend and I can quote pretty much every line from that film.
What has been your most challenging role?
I recently did an episode of Black Mirror (Shut Up and Dance) and played a very troubled person. Trying to understand someone who I donât feel like Iâve got any connection otherwise was tricky. But when the script is good, it makes it easier.
Have you ever had any on-set disasters?
I did a film last year called Old Boys and the character I played spends all of his time falling into muddy water or tripping over and generally being quite miserable. My memory of it was being very wet and very cold.
Whatâs your go-to karaoke song?
Abatina by Calypso Rose. Itâs got this wonderful Afro beat to it. Iâm obsessed with it.
What word or phrase do you overuse the most?
'Thatâs very interesting.â Because I find so many things SO interesting. My friends make fun of me and itâs become my catchphrase.
What trait do you value most in your friends?
Kindness. I like kind people. Itâs so underrated.'
Whatâs your go-to getting ready for a party song?
Abatina by Calypso Rose!
Youâve got friends coming around for drinks? Tell us your signature cocktail.
A martini although Iâm not sure how good I am.
What are your top three most used emojis?
The puppy, the alien face and the one of a camel. I use it as a private joke with a friend of mine.
From left â right: ArinzĂ© Kene, Conor MacNeill and Rosie Day
ArinzĂ© Kene Age: 29 Originally from: Lagos, Nigeria and raised in London Youâll recognise him from⊠The Pass opposite Russell Tovey, the Netflix series Crazyhead and this year spot him in the Shakespearean drama Some Sweet Oblivious Antidote
When did you first describe yourself as an actor? That hasnât happened yet. I have what is called imposter syndrome. I kind of think one day someone is going to come knocking on my door and say âHey man, you told everyone you are an actor, but you are just a normal bloke and you have somehow tricked everybody. The majority of the time I say to people I perform rather than saying I am an actor. It just feels weird coming out of my mouth.
What was the first VHS/DVD you bought? When I was young I looked older than I was. I remember buying a film called Crooklyn, by Spike Lee when I was blatantly only fourteen and should have been much older to be allowed to.
What was the last lie you told? On my way here the driver asked me âAre there a lot of famous people in there?â and I said no, none at all. What word do you overuse the most? Absolutely. I say absolutely way too much. I only realised it the other day when I was writing an e-mail.
Whatâs your Monday morning motivation? Meditating. I do it every morning when I wake up. I mean if you have to take a piss then do it but get right in there with the meditating afterwards.
Conor MacNeill Age: 28 Originally from⊠County Antrim, Northern Ireland
Youâll recognise him from⊠The Fall plus Channel 4 comedy No Offence. He also wrote this yearâs BAFTA nominated film The Party. Talk about multi-talented.
When did you first describe yourself as an actor?
When I was 18 years old I told my teachers that I wanted to be an actor and they were like âOh that is a silly thing to want to do.â So when I landed a theatre job while still doing my A-levels I turned to them and said âIâm now an actor.â
What was the first VHS you bought? Watership Down. And I loved it. Apparently to the point where my mum and dad were like: âIf we have to watch Watership down one more timeâŠâ
Tell us about the best advice a co-star has given you? I worked with a theatre actress called Eleanor Methven who told me to never look at anyone elseâs career because everyoneâs career is different and to just concentrate on your own.
What has been your most challenging role? My character in The Fall was a schizophrenic with convulsive and delusional disorders. That was pretty hefty. For the role I did loads of research and watched a lot of documentaries about mental health and illnesses. I wanted to be really respectful to people who suffer from it too. So I felt a lot of pressure with that.
What word or phrase do you overuse the most? Class, which is a Belfast word for brilliant. I use âThatâs classâ all the time.
Whatâs your Monday morning motivation?
I just think you have got to get paid donât you? And actually, I love the shower. If I can bring myself to shower I will spend ages in there, and a good song in the shower to listen to. That will get you going.
What is the most romantic thing someone has done for you in London? Surprised me by flying in from New York.

My sister did it when she was younger and thatâs how I found my way into it. But before that, never.
What do your family make of it as your career choice?
Theyâre very supportive. My sister is with me tonight, sat at the bar. She looks just like me.
What was the first DVD you bought?
St. Trinians. I know Gemma [Arterton] now and I still tell her, âI used to have a photo of you on my bedroom wall.â
What has been your most challenging role?
In a film called Butterfly Kisses, which premiers at the Berlin Film Festival next week, I play a 16-year-old prostitute from a council estate who had to sleep with people to feed her younger siblings. It was difficult to be in that mindset.
Tell us about the best advice a co-star has given you?
I worked with Suranne Jones when I was 13 and, afterwards my work ethic changed. I canât remember exactly what she said, but she made me be a better actress.â
Whatâs your go-to karaoke song?
Believe by Cher. I got very drunk in Malaga once, got my ear pierced on the strip and sang this to my ex who wasnât there.
What word or phrase do you overuse the most?
âLikeâ and âdo you know what I mean?â My dad always replies in an exhausted tone, âYes, Rosie. I know what you mean.ââ

Anything by Taylor Swift. Iâve outgrown her a bit now but for 10-years, she was my idol.

When I got my first job on Lewis. I only had one line but had to retake it about 30 times. Iâm much better now.
What was the first VHS/ DVD you bought?
Family Man with Nicholas Cage. I love that film so much. That, and Love Actually. The kind of films Iâm doing at the moment are indie and art house but, in reality, I love a bit of cheese.
What has been your most challenging role?
The one I played in Godâs Own Country which premiers at the Berlin Film Festival next week. I lost two-and-a-half stone and Iâm already quite slight so I looked pretty gaunt.
Tell us about the best advice a co-star has given you?
I worked on Florence Foster-Jenkins with Meryl Streep â name drop there! I was terrified and filming started the day after Glastonbury so I wasnât in the best shape. I was visibly anxious. She said to me ânever be nervous.â It was amazing because it worked.
Whatâs your go-to karaoke song?
Angels by Robbie Williams. Iâm not a classy guy.
What word or phrase do you overuse the most?
âLush.â Iâm from Somerset and itâs very typical of that area. Plus, my ex-girlfriend hated it so I use it even more now.
What trait do you value most in your friends?
I like that they drink at my local pub with me.
Whatâs your Monday morning motivation?
Go to the gym but Iâve never fulfilled it. I donât think Iâve been to the gym in, like, a year.

I love cooking Persian food and like to eat it with a killer negroni.

What are your top three most used emojis?
The thinking face, the face thatâs rolling its eyes and the fire. The last oneâs an in joke and I use it a lot.

When did you first describe yourself as an âactor?â
When I dropped out of uni â I was studying Media Design â I had to start calling myself an actor for people to start taking me seriously. Once you make that step, it all starts unraveling.
What was the first VHS/ DVD you bought?
My Great Uncle owned a rental VHS shop so I used to watch whatever was lying around. Jaws was probably one of the first films I ever saw. To this day, Iâm still terrified of sharks.
What has been your most challenging role?
Probably playing Bobby Moore. Itâs quite the story; battling cancer and then winning the world cup. But, throughout filming, I was hyper aware that he was such an iconic football player and such a hero to so many people, so I had to get it right.
Have you ever had any funny on-set stories?
Whilst filming Tina & Bobby, Michelle Keegan and I were driving along in a beautiful old sixties Jag. Iâm really into my music so would play stuff that was appropriate to the era. I was trying to find a track and for some reason, the Notorious B.I.G came on and my phone froze. We did have a laugh about that.
Whatâs your go-to karaoke song?
I actually worked in a karaoke bar for a year! Mine is A Little Less Conversation by Elvis. I donât know the words off by heart but I have fun singing it after a few drinks.

Long Island Ice Tea. It involves everything and can get a party started pretty quickly. Itâs lethal stuff. Just what you want, right?
What are your top three most used emojis?
I use the crying with laughter one when Iâm totally stony faced. The winky face I use but I HATE the winky face with the tongue sticking out. I mean, whatâs that supposed to express? Donât answer that.
