Hello there, I prefer to keep stuff that goes on in my life private but I do want to give a little bit of an update (?) Let ya'll know what's going on (?) I don't know, I'm not good at these kind of things. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But it'll explain my eltingville club sh*tposting I've been doing on tik tok recently lol

I think I've mention this here and there before very briefly but I have physical health issues that I've been dealing with for a couple of years now. Before I say anything else, I have a lot of love and support from my family and friends, I have doctors that are helping me with figuring out what's going on and how to manage it, and most importantly it's nothing life threatening! So don't celebrate so soon, you've haven't killed me just yet mwuah ha ha ha.

Jokes aside, I want to talk about it because it has been getting worse over time and it's gotten in the way of a lot of things. This including my art/animations. I never wanted to dedicate a post to this as like I said, I want to keep my personal problems private and away from social media. Though these pass couple of weeks have taken their tole on me and I feel like I should make it known and also come to terms that it's been getting a lot harder for me to draw or do anything because of it.

Things are going to slow down from here as they already kind of were. I do have projects I wish to get done but of course it's going to take a while. I do tend to have some days/weeks were I experince little to no physical problems, so if I post a lot of art/animations then it's going good! Hopfully I get one of those days/weeks soon so I can start working on the bigger projects I have in mind.

Sorry I didn't post anything for Pride Month my motivation to draw just got thrown out the window.

Also is it just me or has it not felt like Pride Month this year? Maybe its just because the place I live doesn't have any Pride merch or flags around or something else but it feels like we haven't really been celebrating this year...

I’m very intrigued! I was definitely surprised, I thought the rumours were sh!tposting honestly lol.

Now, fully transparency, I haven’t watched anything past the specials but I’ve been kept up to date by my bff, and the spoilers on Tumblr with the general goings on. With that, I will just say I personally don’t think RTD has any creativity left. He is recycling way too much, and all of it for the click-bait. I think he should have really paced these huge come backs a little further apart. Like, one big shocking come back per series or something 😆🤷‍♀️

In terms of Billie, well, I love her so… if anyone was going to get me watching (that isn’t CE of course) it’s her. I have some theories on what I think this means and how this will play out, but I guess we’ll wait and see!

So, I'm pretty sure I said I'd get around to Penglai at some point or another, and today is the day!

This place was mentioned in New Gods: Yang Jian near the start of the movie and is portrayed as the city of the gods, similar to Asgard or Olympus in Norse and Greek mythology. It even seems to be in the sky, which would align more with the Court of Heaven than Penglai.

Penglai was actually one of 5 magic islands that roamed around the eastern ocean on the backs of giant turtles. These islands were paradises and home to immortals. Legend has it that one of those immortals was out fishing one day and somehow managed to hook an island turtle and tangle up another. How he accidentally snared two massive, ISLAND-SIZED TURTLES I'll never know, but it was bad news for the people LIVING on that island. However, in some legends one of the turtles (named Ao) was killed by Nuwa when she repaired the sky. I like to think that the fishing line killed one and Nuwa killed the other

Either way, two of the turtles end up dead and the populations of immortals on them get displaced. They all move to the remaining three islands: Fanglu, Yingzhou, and Penglai. Of the three, Penglai is the most famous.

Honestly I think that lion turtles from Avatar: The Last Airbender are more similar to the mythological Penglai than the city of the same name in Yang Jian. I would be genuinely surprised to hear that the creative team took no inspiration from this myth when creating lion turtles.

That being said, I'm in no way disparaging Light Chaser Studios and the team behind New Gods: Yang Jian for how they portrayed this location in their film. It looks gorgeous. (Though it would have been awesome if it were on a massive flying turtle)

So yesterday, July 27th 2024, I had this random urge of downloading tumblr, rediscovering my account. Since I didn't even remember I had an account, I had to request a new password, leading me to my old hotmail outlook so I could change it. To my surprise I found not 1, but 2 emails from Tumblr; a recent one requesting the password change and one sent earlier at 15:27 stating: "PANDORA turns 12 years old today!".

At first glance I was confused since I knew "Pandora" was the name I gave to my alter ego when I was a teen, but I didn't remember anything about this old tumblr account of mine, at all.

Apparently, part of me (Pandora, perhaps?) did remember though, since I just happened to log back into my dead tumblr exactly on its 12th anniversary, unbeknownst to me, and stumbled upon my old posts, pictures, scattered thoughts, narrow interests of that time... and upon the "#2014 revival" hashtags and blogs, which has surprisingly awakened a spark of nostalgia to my 2014 days...

I never really used tumblr that much even back then (as you can see if you look through my blog) and I highly doubt anyone will read this, but I thought stumbling upon my old blog on its anniversary and revisiting the sh*tposting of my younger self seemed like such a fated thing that I've decided it was worth writing about it and the feelings and thoughts it has evoked in me so that when 12 years from now I remember tumblr again I get to see a glimpse of yet another version of myself through the years.

Although I am a completely different person now (or perhaps, just a different version of the same person) and everything has changed so much, inside and out, I think I'm finally able of doing what 2014 me couldn't do and reconcile all parts of me, both good and bad, dark, light and even grey, and leave this blog up just as it was, even though I don't relate to past me anymore, because I guess she's still part of me somehow and I'm not ashamed of her the way she used to be.

And maybe even... with this whole 2014 nostalgia, looking back at my own picture and remembering those times... I might as well try to relive the blog to further feed into the nostalgia. Oh, to be 16 again, listening to the Arctic Monkeys and taking soft grunge/tumblr aesthetic photos as I changed my hair color every other week... Such a time of my life I truly thought I would never really miss but I guess it's already been long enough by now that it is worth the nostalgia!

OFFICIAL PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

(for once this blog is being used for more than just sh*tposting)

It has come to our attention that there has been an increased number of what we call "Fallers" coming to our world. For those unaware, Fallers are people who went to a different universe by accident. Most experience some form of memory loss which can make the job of finding Fallers much more difficult.

Now this would not be an issue on its own as we here at the Aether Foundation had begun work on potential tech to send the fallers back to their homeworlds, and to bring back any who might've left from ours. But with an increase of Fallers also comes an increase of Ultra Beast, for your convinence and safety you can find a list of all currently discovered Ultra Beasts here.

For the safety of the general public, we are temporarily starting the "Aether without Borders" Project, or AWB. Because of the fact that these Fallers and Ultra Beasts have become less condensed to merely just the Alola Region, we are working with officials from other regions to temporarily set up bases of operations for this project.

In terms of what a normal citizen can do to stay safe here is a list of recommended courses of action:

Keep aware of where you are going at all times

Make sure at least one other person knows where you're headed at all times

Alert any sort of officials immediately if you suspect a friend or loved one has gone missing

Do not and I mean DO NOT try and fight any Ultra Beasts head on. Find the closest AWB station and alert them about the Ultra Beast, as they have been trained by our best to handle UBs with and without combat

Help out anyone who you may suspect to be a Faller, before rerouting them to a safe station, Fallers attract UBs due to the lingering Ultra Wormhole energy so these safe stations will be places where they can easily be protected from them.

With all of that said, stay safe until we can locate and stabilize the cause of increased Ultra activity.

I'll be honest it's hard to find because it's old and buried. A lot of it is incomplete, an Au, or left up to interpretation. Hahahaah... I'm going crazy.

But! Good places to look is obviously @radsee 's page first and foremost. You can go to their searchbar and search for Greaser or Vinny or even FreshGrease. You'll get a plethora of different stuff depending on what you search and how far you dive. A lot of asks and sh!tposts are as much content as you'll get with the guy.

There are two major Greaser AU's that are central to his character. Both go by the name of Vinny. One is by @loverofpiggies in Lucidia and the other is by @pixie-mage in the Spice Of Life.

CQ's Lucidia has yet to be started but there is some facts and art out there. Again you're going to have to go to the search bar and search him up. Same with SpiceOfLife by Pixie. I haven't seen a finished product. I'm not sure there will ever be finished products. It's been a long long time and people grow out of fandoms. I don't blame them but it does leave us to do the work.

Everything I've learned has been from hours of stalking these three creators and the greasersans or vinnylucidia tag which I now dominate💀.

I wish there was a fic or something. It would give definite canon lore. But it is what it is and it's kinda fun just to imagine. That's what the Utmv fandoms for I suppose 🤷

The Facebook event page “Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us” has, within the last five days since its creation, has gained over 2 million people publicly claiming that they will be partaking in a raid of Area 51 on Friday, Sept. 20, 2019 at 3 a.m. – 6 a.m.PDT,  with another million marking themselves as interested in the event.  

The personal goals of these 2 million vary, but the page states the event’s goal: “We will all meet up at the Area 51 Alien Center tourist attraction and coordinate our entry. If we *naruto run, we can move faster than their bullets. Lets see them aliens.”

The event has three official hosts. “Sh*tposting cause im in shambles” a page ironically listed as a religious organization; “SmyleeKun,” a gaming video creator and “The Hidden Sound,” an event planner from Little Rock, Arkansas. I reached out to all three for comment, none have responded.

One might assume that this is a joke, that no one would do this.  Well, the military isn’t taking that chance, an Air Force spokesperson told NPR in a July 15, 2019 statement, “Any attempt to illegally access the area is highly discouraged.” 

Why wouldn’t they take it as a joke? It is, in my honest opinion, that people will show up, not the whole 2 million, but a sizeable amount.  They will show up to be there and witness history, to witness how far we’re willing to go, but most importantly, for the clout. 

The easiest way to define clout is fame and power concerning social media. Simply being at Area 51 and posting photos of yourself there could launch you and help you gain 1,000 of followers. This is why our generation won’t stay away. This is why we’ll be out there.

An EMD music festival called “Alienstock” has been scheduled in the little town of Rachel, NV as a safe way for the Area 51 Raiders to enjoy the weekend. It is free to the public but camping and parking will run you $80 – $130. No glass, fire or weapons may be brought onto the festival grounds. Food vendors, water and porta potties are present.

Journal: Based off on Scramble for africa on colonial history and propaganda poster: The Rhode colossus but been turn into macro feet fetish sh*tpost.

I did my best with panel graphic despite decline in quality and tedious difficulty. (British empire has cursed me over commertary mockery)

A third panel was introduced later after doing shadowing and thought another funny idea for new panel in West africa colony been darkened.

As a kid, I used to prank on each other with my sibling (before it become abusive toxic jerk) with (SJW) fetish art due to bizzare and weird nature but at the time i didn't know people get sexually aroused until i watch Deviantart art review from youtubers like Solar sands. So it come off as accidental.

Why are the micros are Stick figures?

I'am unsure what to portray them as, so i made them stick figures as cutting edge but unsure if i made worse or not because on the Zulu may come off as offensive regardless the Brits are also same black stick figures along with Arab. So i gave it a try. It may be could be attempt enforced censordship by British empire to make them anonymous from this embrassing epic fail.

Today's sh*tpost doesn't have anything to do with Sun Wukong or Journey to the West, but it was so funny I had to share.

So there was this guy named Si-Men Bau, who seems to have been an actual guy that lived around 500 BC, and he was made the governor of the area around the Yellow River. When he got there, he heard that these shamans/wizards/mystics were having people throw a young woman into the river every year as a "bride for the river god." The shamans actually make a pretty profitable racket by making the rich families bribe them not to pick their daughters. Si-Men, naturally, thinks this sucks, but the way he deals with it is GENIUS.

So first he gets all dressed up and says that he's TOTALLY there to honor the river god and celebrate the wedding and a lot of people show up to watch. The shamans do their thing and are ready to throw the girl into the river, but Si-Men is all like:

"Hey, I came here to celebrate the river god's marriage, but it isn't much of a celebration if the groom isn't here. Why don't one of you go get him?"

So he has some of his men take a shaman and throw them into the river to "fetch the river god," but for some reason, the god never comes. So then our guy is all:

"Wow, she must not know what she's doing. Let's try again!"

He then proceeds to have 2 MORE shaman thrown into the river, with the same results each time. Once he's ready for the third, all the remaining shaman are begging on their knees for mercy, swearing they won't ever look for a new "bride" again as long as he stops drowning them- oh, sorry, I mean "sending them to the river god."

And thus no more innocent women were sacrificed. Don't you love happy endings?

Honestly my favorite part about this myth is that it very well could have ACTUALLY happened and Si-Men actually conned some conmen out of human sacrifice.
