I love how cute the late chapters of the truthful route are

This is more me rambling than any form of serious post or ~anaylsis~ I'm just replaying the route and constantly sobbing over how adorable they all are

They get along so much better with each other and their partners than at the start or in the routes where bitches be dying and it is very much fun seeing them have so many positive interactions

Even their arguing is more productive barring when Takuma FIRST got back but admittedly that was MOSTLY just Kaito ksksmd like there's a lot more "think we should do this because this" "I see what you mean but also consider—" and a lot less "maybe we should—" "FUCK YOU SHUT UP YOU'RE WRONG"

Super love the scene where Ryo and Kaito are talking to Renamon and at first Takuma freaks out thinking they're gonna start a fight but then Shuuji tells him to calm down and just trust them and they end up just being like "hey what you did sucked but we're on the same side so let's work together" and Takuma is like

Like not even just the fact that those two of all people DIDN'T start shit but the fact that Shuuji wholeheartedly trusted them not to is SO insanely different from early game

Also the fact that after everything they've been through they can even still joke around with each other like there are just so many scenes where they're just being happy and silly in spite of it all

Minoru continuing to piss Ryo off by not treating him like he's older is so funny. Like they also clearly get along way better than before especially since Ryo doesn't take Minoru's dumbassery to heart anymore but that one scene where it was LITERALLY like "it's not what you said it's how you said it" had me dead jdjdnd they are such an old divorced couple. Not an old married couple. An old divorced couple.

Also love how pretty much all of them have at least one line that's just something along the lines of "we can do anything if we're together" because you KNOW none of them used to feel that way. Putting up with each other bc safety in numbers to actually genuinely trusting each other and being grateful for each other.

This is turning into a "random scenes I love" post but I love when Minoru calls Kaito weird for being happy about Miu bossing him around and Takuma telling him to knock it off because there's probably more to it than that. Also Minoru being like "dude how can you put up with this" and Kaito being like "how long do you think I've been her brother for" ksjskdn like it is so funny to think that Miu has always been a little dictator and Kaito has always just gone along with it

Also all the kemonogami are precious I mean they're precious in every route but I laughed so hard when I purposely picked a wrong dialogue option and Labramon yelled at Takuma for being stupid ToT

Falcomon and Dracmon kill me every time they're on screen. They're the funniest characters in this whole game. Again I mean they're like that in every route but I think the humor lands better in the route where there's not constant death happening.

Also also I'm sorry but them being afraid of the ghost at the school was so funny to me bc they've MET other ghosts at that point and also the other times they've thought there were ghosts it was just like...a digimon. It's like in ghost game when Kiyo is like AAAAAH GHOST and it's like bitch you KNOW it's a digimon.

Also also also Kaito lying about not being worried about Dracmon bc he doesn't wanna freak Miu or Takuma out but then after getting him back being like I WAS SO SCARED SOMETHING HAPPENED TO YOU

Also also ALSO also Ryo and Shuuji being alive so I can see all their battle lines with the other characters. And how even lines between characters change over time. I actually don't know what all the lines are and if the change is related to the chapter or to the route or to their affinity but I know for a fact that the lines aren't always the same and I am always delighted to see a new one.

ALSOx5 CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW ADORABLE THE MINASE SIBLINGS ARE FOR A SECOND? THEY ARE THE SWEETEST EVER.

Anyways these kids are the cutest friend group when their spirits are not actively being crushed by pointless deaths with no clear end in sight and it's just so nice seeing the kinda people they all are when they're not completely miserable and being pushed to/past their breaking points.

Like truthful may not be the most fun or interesting route but goddamn does it make me happy that the canon path is the one where they're actually allowed to grow and learn and be happy

are you getting on with any of the bombshells/originals ? who’s at the top of your list ?

“things have been going well with dante... kind of.” she sighs out a breath she didn’t realize she was holding. “ugh, i don’t know. he’s perfect. he’s genuinely so perfect, but i don’t know if i really... want perfect? like, i’m such a mess. and i know people aren’t supposed to say they actually like drama, but, i mean, yeah. a little. i think there needs be some, or some kind of tension. and banter. like, we just communicate differently. dante would be so good for me, probably, and i know he’s who i should want, but... i don’t know if there’s anything more than sexual attraction there.” she pauses, though no further prompting comes, the silence stretching out long enough that she fills it automatically. “like, yeah, obviously the jude thing kind of shook everything up. i’m just trying to figure out my game plan.” 

do you see yourself starting to focus on one person or are you still exploring ?

“things are kind of changing still. especially now that like, dante’s making romi breakfast too, which is obviously really fucking weird for me but like, i can’t say that without looking like a huge asshole because jude kissing me is the reason they’re upset in the first place and i’m sure dante doesn’t even realize he did anything wrong—not that he did do anything wrong—he could just be being nice because he’s just like that, but even if it was more than a friendly kind of thing, i can’t ask him not to graft people when i’m like, so wanting to get to know jude more,” takes a deep breath from her run-on sentence. “you know?” 

how was the beer pong game ? what was most memorable about it ?

“so obviously like, jude kissed me. which,” her head dips back, a cackle spilling from her lips. “oh my god. i really didn’t think he would. like, genuinely. i knew he was attracted to me or whatever, but when we would talk it was like, so back and forth i thought maybe i invented it. or, you know, not invented it. like, there was clearly a vibe, but... exaggerated it or something. but no, it’s a thing. apparently enough that romi totally dropped him, which is—i actually can’t get over how insane that is. everyone could see he was totally obsessed with them.” her lips purse to one side, letting that serve as a reminder to herself too. “yeah, it was crazy. i don’t know, man.” 

what was it like seeing the postcard ? what was the most shocking part of it ?

“so like, going into casa after the whole max thing,” her head cocks to one side, a resigned smile to the camera like a secret shoutout, “i knew josh would be grafting. he’d be stupid not to, but yeah, seeing it in front of me kind of sucked. but i get it. it is what it is. kind of wish i got like, even a little of the sympathy naomi or callie or romi got, but whatever. i think dylan was the most shocking for me. like, ‘cause naomi hasn’t really entertained anyone. she’s actually been so boring, like, she shared a bed with angel, but he says it’s totally platonic, and seeing him with callie? i don’t know, i believe it. so yeah, that one was probably a blow. but then again, if naomi and josh were making plans to talk, how solid could they have been? maybe dylan knew subconsciously, like i did.”

if you could have voted for an original to go in the hideaway, who would you have voted for ?

These felt easy to me; simple moves.

Auba out because Wenger, rightly so, is fully 100% on board with Europa League being the only thing that matters for Arsecast so he said he might not even play Auba... Since Auba is cup tied he wants to try some stuff with the actual first team UEL squad. Fair enough from him... I’m sure Auba will still play some amount of minutes in the 0-45 range but the Kun injury news - out for the season - is just too good for Jesus in FPL. They don’t even have another striker in their squad except for a 19 year old child named Lukas Nmecha. Ok.

Arguably simpler of the two moves is Mahrez to Raz. Feel pretty unlucky to not get Riyad points since owning him, his stats in some of the matches were huge, and keepers made some really good stops on him, such is life, such is FPL... But even a fully firing Mahrez / Leicester can’t come close to touching the ceiling of Raz and the supremacy of City. End of.

Ditching Mahrez also means I’ve decided to keep Son... I’ve been thinking about it all week and just kept coming to the conclusion - wait, why are we getting rid of Son?

I made this exact same mistake earlier in the season. I don’t think ANY City attacker will feature in all five of their remaining fixtures, but we’re still all fine to get them in because they’re really good. Well I feel exactly the same feelings towards Son. He’s just really good and a really good pick. He won’t start all four of their last four but he’ll probably play like ~250 minutes and that’s a lot of points for someone of the quality of Sonny. Let’s go bro I’m not fucking you off like last time. I'm never gonna dance again, guilty feet have got no rhythm, though it's easy to pretend, I know you're not a fool.

Since GW23 (12 matches) in the 4-3 Liverpool win vs. City where Karius became the nailed on first choice keeper - LFC have the most clean sheets in the league, least goals conceded (tied with MUN and TOT), and second in the league to City for xGoals allowed... That’s pretty fucking dominant.

Lowton goes at Stoke, very cleanable fixture, but who am I kidding Burnley don’t keep cleans vs. anybody so maybe I can just hope for a Lowton assist or to get get subbed off after 60′ but before they inevitably concede... I can dream.

Mama Sakho bias is in again. Hilarious that we both have Mama even tho Palace have six cleans on the season... Fucking hell what are we doing? New / old friend Raz hello, nice to see you little guy. He’s been by far my favorite FPL pick from City all season and so I’m backing that. It’s kind of funny when you sort mids by total score it looks like it’s close between Kev (190 total) and Sterling (200 total) but when you break that down to points:minutes ratio and/or points per start it is truly not close at all. Raz in.

Still a big fan of the Arnie pick even though he blanked vs. Stoke... Just hoping that Moyes can resist the temptation of going Carroll up top and stick with Arnie up there because it’s mostly worked and Arnie has really flourished... Even though Andy’s finish was delightful. Come on Arnie.

Lastly Wilf. What a great guy. Love him and he’s top class. Gotta hope like Arnie above that Woy keeps Wilf up top and doesn’t dip back into the Benteke pool because that water is shit. I wonder where Wilf will be playing football next season...?

Gayle goes again for me. Not the best debut in a blank last week when they score two and the other forward hauls but hey he was still good as he has been for most of the season... His stats are very good especially for a guy on a promoted side. Come on Dwight treat me BABYYYYyyyyyyy!!!

And another new / old friend in Gab Jesus. Eyebrows icon legend tap-in merchant. If he gets, as we’re lead to believe, 400ish minutes from here on out then holy fuck. He’s the easiest pick ever and should be the first name in all FPL team sheets. Who knows? But I hope.

I’m on Jesus. I feel as though he’s a touch safer then Raz for ya know, 60-70+ minutes, and that’s really all there is to it. As I mentioned above they have basically no other forwards without punting on a child. It’s their first home fixture since winning the title so should be party atmosphere. Let’s score a lot of points Gab........... But very scared with no Salah as he’s in the leaked lineup. Still think he’s not a good pick for rest of season - but if I had Salah or if I were free hitting this week I’d 100% cap Salah over anyone because he’s by far the best player in the league.
