I was reminded today of one of my favorite personal headcanons I have for Terzo: he is an absolute film slut. especially for old Hollywood + pre-code horror and drama movies. he would either have original film reels or the remastered collector's editions in DVD format. he plays them in his carefully cared-for old film projector...or for the remastered ones, a digital projector on those pull-down screens you see in classrooms. he has one installed in his room for his convivence.
Ask him about his interest, and he will go on talking someone's ear off with commentary about the movies---er excuse me--- films centric themes, motifs, plot and literally anything you'd catch in a director's commentary edition. he has a list of favorite actors/actresses from the time and will have framed photos of them in his room. (which speaking of, takes inspo from art deco)
I actually have a doodle i made a while back on what 'A Date with Papa III' would be like, and the expectations were far beyond what one would expect. oh, sure he has his suave way of words and looks, but he truly is a film nerd and will not shy away from it.
for now have this silly doodle:

His prized and restored 1930s 40s Specto 16mm Movie Projector. nicknamed 'Stella'.
No one is allowed to touch it. Not even Omega. (out of everyone though, Terzo trusts him the most. but still- NO TOUCH)

Is there a music analysis of Wreck-It Ralph anywhere? (I'm sure there is) Cuz I've been listening to the soundtrack and ... EHEHHEHEH.. I love musical character motifs
I made a short video on an example I especially liked between Vanellope and King Candy :)
Basically he STOLE her leitmotif, like he stole everything else of hers

How I be looking at Andrew Loyd Webber and Tim Rice when during the scene where Judas dies in Jesus Christ Superstar he (judas) sings a reprise of a song from earlier in the show sung by Mary Magdeline. This song in its original form being explicitly about Mary being in love with Jesus and Judas’ version includes the line ‘does he love me’.

Have you examined the soviet animation style? Because mostly of your artworks (especially wild cats, like lions or tigers) are very similar to those from soviet traditionaly hand-drawn cartoons. Also you actually drew a character named black Cat from “Blue puppy”, so…
What I want to say, if it is - that is very cool. It feels warm, when you realise, that the legacy of your country art is not forgotten.
my art style is heavily influenced by soviet animations yea! they are some of the earliest media i was shown and most of my childhood films were soviet/russian. they have such unique brainfeel to me thats hard to describe

(Kind of a rant) Just saw a tiktok I saw a few hours ago (I won't namedrop) but it was about Noel catfishing Mischa because he was tired of being the only gay guy in Uranium. I get it's a theory, but it just seems so... weird? and kind of, bad? I'm a new fan (started watching the musical late February of this year and I've been OBSESSED ever since) and this theory has caught my attention from most nischa/passionroses videos.
vv More down below.
I think it's just awful for both Mischa and Noel's characters. I've seen Kholby talk about it and expressed his hatred in an older tiktok and I couldn't agree more. I always thought it was weird when I encountered the theory for the first time.
I just don't think Noel is that bad of a person to go to extreme measures when he likes someone. Yeah sure he got suspended by breaking into an excerpt from "Waiting for Godot", but that's not as bad as catfishing a loyal guy like Mischa, who loves his hometown more than anything, as well as being deeply in love with a girl from his country. Talia is literally Mischa's roman empire, and to take that away by saying Noel catfished him because he was "desperate" just kinda destroys Noel's character and his title of being the 'most romantic boy in town'.
This isn't an attack to any nischa shippers! I ship nischa myself, its just this particular theory that ruins their relationship/friendship in general.
(Please no hate! I'm just expressing my opinion. I hope this is clear :-[)

I feel like this is a good time to remind my followers of the full-circleness of it all; the 2001 Queen of the Damned film with rockstar Lestat featured songs composed by Jonathan Davis of Korn, my absolute favorite singer throughout my teenage years (and to this day, lbr). Before getting into IWTV I enjoyed those songs on their own, having no real idea of what they were supposed to be about. Now, we're getting actual rockstar Lestat, and looking back relistening to those nu metal rockstar Lestat songs, knowing that the singer that's been absolutely formative for me is singing from the pov of Lestat (and Akasha), a character that's become such a big part of my life as well.
it's just yet another way everything is connected and the world's smaller than you think.
Anyway if you haven't heard his original compositions for QOTD that he himself sings on the soundtrack, they're really, really good- System, Forsaken, Careless, Redeemer, Slept So Long, Not Meant For Me... give 'em a listen! He's done all of them live many years later too, and there's great recordings of those.

(the live version of Careless is truly extraordinary imo...)
