#frankly I do not understand#this fandom's insistence on villainizing the morally ambiguous characters that the protagonists actively like and spend time with in canon.#like did u read a different book or smth where there aren't actual rapists serial killers and the literal mafia crime lords as antagonists?#but god forbid the morally grey side characters make morally grey decisions. Or worse-- get upset about something completely valid#it's like y'all are mad that all their actual villains are dead by the end and have to redirect it to someone else.#yes I'm talking about y'all's weird insistence that Thea and Roland and even Nicky are problematic and awful#no this isn't a post inviting a fight there's a reason I didn't tag it#I will absolutely delete replies that attempt to persuade me that they are apparently predators#my posts
