Shoutout to all my fellow American nonhumans, therians, otherkins, alterhumans, and everything in between. Times are scary, but this is for all of us when I say that this will not be the death of us.

Donald Trump is not the first to try controlling a country. Over thousands of years, kings and empires have risen and fallen. They all thought the same thing their predecessors did- that they were smarter, wiser, better, than those who came before them and that they would succeed.

They never lasted. Even if the soldiers today have better weapons than the guards back then, well, so do we. Ten thousand peasants revolting against a leader is still ten thousand against one, and inevitably those kings fell.

We, as alterhumans, as something distinctly other, have always been around. Some of those peasants may have been warhorses, farm dogs, snakes in the grass. They did not kill us then and they cannot kill us now.

History is not a circle, it doesn't repeat. It rhymes, creates a spiral that is ever expanding but follows the same path.

We have lived longer than the spiral. We have survived and we will continue to survive. This is not the end of us. We will fight as we always have, with bared teeth and snapping jaws, and we will live.

Personality Headcanons

EON: As our snarky and analytical hero(ine?), Eon has made marks in historical research! It may take some time to crack open his/her/their icy, loner shell, but if you do manage the task, you’d have a worthwhile ally by your side!

WOLF: As much of a crackpot as her paranormal theories are, her energetic and feral antics on her show “GHOST SEASON” are more well known than her actual ghost-hunting skills! Many may deride her as a crackhead, but she gained a large enough following to catapult her into SJHSL status as a paranormal investigator!

MEOWTH: An expert on all things feline, Meowth also takes the time and effort to both look and act the part, for you’d hardly see him/her/them without his/her/their omnipresent cat hoodie! This playful little stooge can usually be seen lounging around with a meow-tian of feline companions!

SLEEP: Having gathered a small following for their uncannily accurate dream analyzation, Sleep is hardly ever seen without either a pillow or a blanket to randomly pass out on. But belying the constantly-sleepy exterior, is an zen and meditative sweetheart who you can always count on to receive advice from, if Sleep could stay awake for long enough to hear your story.

SPADE: A pensive, if somber soul, Spade can creep people out with his constant mentions of death, considering what his talent entails. Those who manage to socialize and handle the subject matter of Spade’s interests would find out that for a normally silent individual, he sure has a lot to say about the cycle of life and death.

ZERO: Zero is impossible to not notice, for his height at a staggering 7,5" is truly something to be marveled at, and Zero makes full use of that in his acrobatic feats, alongside his natural loud and bombastic personality! Tickets for his shows regularly sell out within the first day they’re announced!
