The Astrological Observation of Gen Z, (a series)
Part II 👶🏽🩷:
The birth of Gen Z children👩🍼:
Now what is described as a Gen Z baby is different depending on what method you use, but since we are using astrology, we determine that by looking at Pluto. Pluto is one of the slower moving planets and typically lasts in the same sign for over 12 years. In tropical astrology, what all Gen Z babies share is a Sagittarius Pluto (and it is in Scorpio if you fancy Vedic astrology 😎), Which begins in mid to late 1995 and ends in early to mid 2008. Some other placements that are shared for early 2000s babies is a Aquarius Uranus & Aquarius Neptune, While mid to late 2000s babies share a Pisces Uranus & Aquarius Neptune.
The most populated birth years of the 2000s in order were 1. 2000, 2. 2009, 3. 2008, 4. 2007, & 5. 2006. The least populated birth year being 2001. While the amount of births stayed consistent in 2002-2003 with only a slight increase by a million in 2004-2005.
00: 143.01 million
01: 133.88
02: 134.02
03: 134.40
04: 135.23
05: 135.80
06: 136.91
07: 138.56
08: 140.16
09: 141.20
The year 2000 was the start of the 21st century, so parents being excited for the new millennium and having lots of babies in the celebration of the new year makes a lot of sense. If we use January 1st 2000 as an example for a baby's birthday. That would mean that the parents would had to conceive / the mother to get pregnant around in April (9 months). In 1999, Jupiter was in Aries and Taurus was in Saturn. Prince wasn't lying when he said "we gonna party like it's 1999 (all night long)" - because y'all parents were doing the *Raven Symone voice* NASTY 😭. Aries is action oriented and hasty. So I believe the collective during this time actually made new year's resolutions that they could accomplish. I always associate Taurus with fertility, abundance, & pleasure. So when the sign rules over saturn, it creates the need to be focused on security, comfort, & protecting personal possessions. Add a Scorpio Lillith to the mix and yeah... 🥴 The song sums it up pretty well (fun fact it was also released in the year 2000 LMFAO)
Now let's see why there was such a decrease of babies being born in 2001.
Jupiter moves from Aries into Taurus/Gemini, Taurus still remained in Saturn, & then there was a Capricorn Lillith. So things got less hot and heavy 😅 (they got tired out from all that fucking huh LOL 💀). I believe that parents were too nervous to have any more children in this year. Also there was so many earth placements, so I believe there was more of a focus on finances, creating structure, and coming up with ideas/plans for a better future. Parents could of seen how crazy things got (The Y2K crisis, people acting out of fear thinking the world was ending, 9/11, etc) and just decided not to have as much children. The libido or sex drive could of died down for some couples as well. There was a lot of resistance from couples in this year for getting pregnant. Parents were more worried about business. The babies that were born in 2001 were most likely by accident or needed to be under the supervision of a doctor in order to help the parents conceive (also there could of been possible complications during the pregnancy 🤔?). The women were just over it during this year 😭
Now let's talk about the rise of babies being born in 2007-2009 when there was LITERALLY a god damn financial crisis going on 💀! It was so bad it got compared to the great depression and parents were just like "huh... yeah, I think this is a great time to have a baby" 😂. Guess what sign Lilith was during this time...? ("BITCH YOU GUESSED IT! HO! You was right"😈) FUCKING SCORPIO LILITH 💀 with a Virgo Saturn, Sagittarius Jupiter, and then Uranus finally transitioned from Aquarius to Pisces. Soooo it was giving anxious attachment, it's giving "I'm scared but aroused", the parents' idea of a coping method during this time was "let's use a baby as a way to have hope during such troubling times" 😭??? Couples during those years were not thinking clearly at all and with Pisces being the dreamer that she is 🙄... ("you're a dreamer, you dream a lot") as well as Sagittarius tryna act like they're mr. philosophical over here but instead is really just thinking with their dicks. It just made the parents overall act really delusional and they thought having a kid would give them hope for the future (like why would you do that to late Gen Z's and set them up like that omg 😭???). The financial crisis during 2007-2009 was described as: "The collapse of the housing market — fueled by low interest rates, easy credit, insufficient regulation, and toxic subprime mortgages — led to the economic crisis." So overall it was a period of parents only being intimate to try to find comfort in each other while also dealing with anxiety and not being able to see past their own illusions.
#miiight have to do another post on this i'm not sure#couldn't really think of what else to look at lol#astrology#astro observations#astrology observations#astro notes#gen z#2000s#y2k#mcbling#Spotify#pac#pick a card#pick a pile#tarot#witchcraft

---------------------------------------------------
Everything was relatively normal the following week. His and Charlie's long overdue moment with no more miscommunication made Lucifer feel a whole lot better. He couldn't ask for a better daughter.
Dressing himself in one of his battle suits, he felt like he could take on the world. Nothing says King of Hell like your best warrior outfit and a badass sword in full display.
Lucifer: Looking pretty dapper there, me.
Lucifer doesn't even bother to style his hair- it now flows animatedly like that of Lilith's.
Flowers were still being sent to him especially when he was first spotted roaming around the hotel after a week-ish long recovery. Charlie had the amazing idea of making a greenhouse or some sort of garden to put all the flowers and keep them alive as long as possible.
They got rid of any red ones after someone sent a buttload of them which then caused him to have a mini panic attack. Alastor is subtly trying to take that moment off his mind by leaving Marigolds everywhere. It's sweet but soon they're going to need a separate greenhouse for just the Marigolds. Where'd he even get these??
Finding his first Marigold of the day, in the bathroom of all places really Alastor??, he makes his way to the lobby. Everyone was there doing their own thing.
Husk and Angel are at the bar as usual, with the latter talking animatedly about something that puts an endearing expression on Husk's face. Nifty is putting on roach puppet shows for Alastor. The radio demon notices him and conveys his most 'help me' face but he just chuckled and gives him a thumbs up. The cyclops named Cherri is today's gift screener, grumbling about the pollen and the shitty taste some demons have.
Charlie and Vaggie were talking to a small group of demons by the entrance. As soon as his daughter sees him, she said something to the group then walked over to him.
Charlie: Good morning, dad!
Lucifer: You look busy.
Charlie: They're sinners who are asking about the hotel! I'm so happy that people are at least coming here to check it out. Did you have a good sleep?
Lucifer: Well, I don't feel like passing out today. So pretty good!
Charlie: That's great, dad!
Angel: Short king! Looking good in that fit!
Cherri: Yeah! Do a spin, hot stuff!
He blushes at the sudden attention. Everyone is looking at him in awe- maybe it was too much?
Alastor: Nonsense, dear.
Alastor appeared beside him in a flurry of shadows, seemingly reading his mind. He bends down at Lucifer's level to whisper in his ear. He plucked the Marigold Lucifer was holding, putting it behind the King's hair.
Alastor: I, for one, think you never looked so.. raveshing~
Damn him.
Lucifer: Shut up.
Lucifer hisses in response. Like, seriously? In front of his daughter? Thank Father, Charlie didn't hear that.
Charlie: Yeah! You look so cool. I don't think I've seen you wear that except for when there's a banquet.
Lucifer: Yeah, well, I wanted to look put together after everything.
Charlie softens at his words.
Alastor: No need for that, sire. I'm sure no one is foolish enough to comment negatively on what the King of Hell chooses to look like.
Lucifer: What does that make you then?
Alastor: Privileged, my King~
Lucifer rolls his eyes at the audacity but he can't help but smile. Man, he never thought he'd miss their constant banter.
Charlie: You look awesome, dad, okay? Al, please slow down with the Marigolds, Nifty's going crazy. Oh! Dad, right, Aunt Bel called said that the Sloth Ring is making incredible progress and that she'll visit again soon. I think Aunt Bee is planning a party with the other Sins and would like it to be held here in Pride! At the hotel! It would be so cool and of course if you're not ready I can tell them and maybe a little get together would be better. I'll even invite Sev! He gave flowers for you too and Vaggie was so jealous when I said he was my ex and thought the flowers were for me, she was so cute-
Lucifer tried, but he stopped listening halfway through his daughter's talk. It was a bit of an information overload but he kept a small, genuine smile on his face for her.
Then something caught his eye that made him stopped smiling altogether.
Charlie notices this causing her to stop talking.
Charlie: Dad?
He should answer but his eyes were locked on the wall behind Charlie. Plastered on the higher part of the lobby's wall was a glowing mark- gold wings with a dot on the center.
Lucifer turns around so fast to look outside the hotel's window. Heaven looks so out of place up there, sticking out like a sore thumb upon Hell's red skies.
A glint in the distance made him act. Without warning, he took off with such force that those inside the hotel were knocked down by the gust of his wings.
He breaks the window on his way out and pulls out Lightbringer. Lucifer brings the sword up and-
A powerful explosion lit up the sky. The sky split in two and fire appeared high and wide over Pride. At that moment, everyone became so hot that they couldn't bear it, as if their whole body was on fire. They wanted to rip their skin off just to get a sense of relief but then the sky shut closed. A strong thump was heard by every demon in the vicinity and then they were all thrown a few meters.
It felt like an eternity before Charlie and the others could get their bearings. Those that didn't get knocked out went outside, once there, they see Lucifer far up in the sky, holding up a flaming sword. The signature pentagram of the city has been fractured by whatever happened and demons all around were either hurt or unconscious.
Charlie: Dad!
Charlie calls out to her dad but he doesn't acknowledge her. His gaze never leaving Heaven, as if he's seeing something that no one else can.
--------------------------------------
A screen locked on Hell zooms out as the machine's voice rang out 'target disengaged'.
An angel looking similarly to Lucifer, except there's blue tints on the spots where Lucifer had reds, was looking down at Hell pulling back a large, golden gun. They blew the smoke residue and sighed.
Michael: Hello, Lucifer... Still causing trouble, I see.
---------------------------------------
it's done??
cliffhanger but don't worry, there's a sequel!
I spent 30 minutes looking for that comic that inspired this ending.
Did y'all catch that Lemmino reference? I'd have that description in my head rent free ever since I watched Grazed by the Apocalypse
Again, I'd love to hear your thoughts on this! This was my first published baby and I'm so proud !

Random Thoughts about The Heart Killers (EP 1 – 6) : An interesting Rom-Com with morally grey characters.
The long awaited post I've wanted to make, but always failed to do properly. Since we are not getting an episode today (which is a damn crime because the wait is killing me!), I've decided to feed my poor soul with some writing about the series. I won't add anything that haven't already been said on here, so I won't feel sad if you don't pay attention to this post. It's just me screaming in the void of internet to try thinking about something else. I knew I would like this series (I like the actors, the directors, the plot… everything has been set according to my own taste), but I try to reason with me. You shouldn't put too many expectations on a series, otherwise you're at a risk of being disappointed. I also give better advice that I never really follow, so yes I had expectations and until now they have been fulfilled. I would be lying if I didn't say that at one point or another I was really annoyed by the characters' actions. I tend to forget that the series is 12 episodes and I'm looking forward to seeing the sweet scenes between the main couples (real ones with no lying). I was promised a rom-com, so don't be mad at me for being a little fool here. I'm a bit impatient as you can see. However, I know that I shouldn't react in the heat of the moment so I waited until now to write something about The Heart Killers.
Usually, in a rom-com you get characters that are archetypes usually found in this type of story. In the Heart Killers, most of the characters are neither good neither totally evil (except maybe Mother, but she may also have a good side, who knows). All characters have their strengths and weaknesses and they may appear on different sides, but they all have a strong, justifiable reason for doing what they are doing. I've making this grid for a while now. I may have forgotten some information, but it's just my own perception of the series so far. Things may change in the coming episodes.
So why was I annoyed by the characters at one point or another? I guess one part of the reason is that I forgot the structure of a rom-com because of the unique setting the screenwriters and the director put our main characters in. Any rom-com follows a certain structure in three times I would say.
• The first part is the presentation of the setting, the characters and their unfulfilled needs.
• The second part is when you have the meet-cute (or not so cute) between the characters. It is followed by the honeymoon stage until obstacles arise at the midpoint and the relationship is in jeopardy (that's where we are right now in the story). Usually, it's when the couple break up or start to have doubts.
• The third and final part is the moment of realization where the characters can view themselves outside the relationship and decide what are their new desire and goals. It leads everyone to the final of the story that usually ends on a happy note or at least give the viewers some hope for the characters if they don't end up together (my personal choice would be a happy ending for everyone, but I like to be surprised).
We've seen the first part already and have moved on the second part. I believe in the Heart Killers the break-up part could be different. Will the characters really break-up now that they think they have understood the needs of the others?! I don't think so. I believe they are all going to pretend to be together to try to outmatch the other ones and to learn the truth. They believe they are in opposite sides, but the truth is their main enemy who is working against their desire/happy ending remains Mother and to a lesser extent Keen (until Mother works against him and he may become an ally to the main leads). We could probably add the Captain too.
So, even knowing that, the question remains: why was I annoyed by the characters, despite loving everything else?! It's because I viewed them through my own sets of value while forgetting who they are and the setting of the series. To be fair, I'm used to rom-com characters who usually are not morally wrong. Here, in this story, none of them is really right or wrong. After all, they are on different standpoints and the perspectives they can reach are not the same. They represent different sides with different views (sorry I'm rambling here). I would say, Style may be the only characters who didn't have a criminal past and his worst fault is that he didn't flirt (at first) with Fadel for love, but for greed to possess Kant's car. The other characters, Kant, Bison and Fadel, all are or were a criminal at one point. Does it mean that criminals can't fall in love because what they are doing is morally wrong? The story doesn't agree with this point, as all of them were dragged to this because of something external. Kant needed money to take care of his brothers and Fadel and Bison were forced into this line of work by their “guardian” Mother who pretends to make them go after other “criminals” because the justice system isn't doing the right wrong. In some way, she isn't wrong, as the only “justice” figure we meet in the story is Captain Christ. He isn't a nice guy too as he is threatening Kant to force him to do his work in exchange for freedom from his past.
The idea of writing morally grey characters is interesting as it maintain the suspense, both in the relationship between the main leads, but also in the core structure of the story. The characters had needs at the beginning of the story, but their desire slowly changed by interacting with their lovers and other characters. It is also good for viewers as they have the opportunity to prefer one side over the other one. I changed my mind a lot during those six episodes. I was feeling terribly sorry for Bison when I saw Kant's playing with his heart, but in the last two episodes, I understood how hard it must be for him to keep pretending while also falling in love, despite knowing the truth. I was amused by Style's aggressive flirting with Fadel, but also felt annoyed on behalf of Fadel as I noticed how his "secret life" was putting a toll on his mental health. Choosing to have morally grey characters work better with the setting of the story. Otherwise, who would root for hitmen to fall in love? The fact we care so much about the actions of the main characters and what impact it will have on their romantic relationship, confuse us and make us anticipate the next move they may make. It also allows the true villains of the story to actively continue working against our main leads' happiness. The ones who really gain from the new feud between the main couples are the Captain and Mother. They may believe they are in their rights, but they use the main characters as chest pieces, without regard for the toll it can have on their well-being.
Mother is using the maternal figure she has set to control Fadel and Bison's action. She is pretending to care about them. She willfully taught them how to be hitmen to supposedly kill other criminals. The reason may appears good, but the actions are not valid. You can't Pay Evil unto Evil. She pushed our characters in this place by using the death of their parents as an example of failed justice. She knows much buttons to push to keep them in the place she wants them to be. Mother pretends to understand that they are tired of being hitmen and that this job will be the last one, but will it really be the last one? She also purposely and actively works against their happiness, by keeping them lonely. Bison and Fadel may think they are in controls, but the viewers can see, they don't really have a say in their actions or life. They never settled before and they don't really know how to. They find a different way to cope with this, but deep down they are still prisoners of what Mother has made of their life. As for Kant, he is also being controlled by the Captain who knows about his desire to protect and care about his younger brother. He uses his criminal past to make him an informant. Unlike Mother who pretends to act as a true mother to the brothers, he doesn't lie about his real view of Kant. However, just like her, he knows much buttons to push to keep Kant working for him.
As for me now, I can’t wait for Bison, Kant, Fadel and Style to overcome the lying part and the feeling of betrayal they will have regarding their relationship, so they can all be on the same side and fight against their real enemies.

are we friends or more?prompt 12 for Poe please!!! 😚
Running to you
Part of the Your Wish is my Command universe
Are we friends or are we more prompt: #12. Running to you when they see you
Pairing: Poe Dameron x Solo!Reader
Word Count: 1k words
SERIES MASTERLIST
It was unexpected, the way you and Poe clicked so easily and so quickly was a complete surprise to you both. One late-night conversation turned into dinner together every night, which then turned into having every meal you could together.
Sometimes by yourself, or other times joined by friends, dinners together were your thing, so even if the table was crowded, the only thing he cared about was being able to be with you for as much as he could. Poe had been pulled to you since the moment he saw you, but he couldn’t admit it, how could he? How could he ever say such a thing to the General’s daughter?
Even so, for Poe, it had come to the point of missing you even in the shortest missions, in the ones where he is gone for not more than two days, so imagine his despair when he learned he would be gone for at least a week. As soon as he entered orbit he was already giddy at the thought of you, even in his exhausted state, all to the point of him humming a little tune to himself - and to a reluctant BB.
The mission had its series of complications, of frustrations and scares and sleepless nights, and the second his feet were on the tarmac he felt his whole body finally relaxing; if only he could end the mission without debriefing with the squad, Poe would already be rushing to look for you.
Much to Poe’s luck you were just passing by, going through the next mission needs with Kaydel making sure you both had everything your teams needed. You had missed him just as much as he missed you, it would be pointless to lie and say you didn’t, so the second your eyes landed on him you felt a bolt of energy rushing through your veins demanding you go to him. The last two minutes of your conversation with Kaydel go by without you being able to register what she's saying since all you see is Poe and all you think about too.
You excuse yourself the second you see Poe’s team scattering, leaving Kaydel standing alone and confused at your sudden change of plans. You manage to say a quick “I’ll go look for you later!” as you walk away, your feet quickening by the second.
"Commander Dameron!" You greet him once he’s finally close enough, a smile lighting up your face and his as he sees you approaching him with a quick pace, doing the same thing he was planning to do: run to you. "Welcome back.” Your fingers tingle by your sides and your arms are aching to hug him, to give him the proper welcome he deserves, but you are not sure of what to do now that you are getting closer, the thought of the many eyes that could be nearby pulling you back and stopping you from throwing yourself at him.
Poe doesn’t think about that at all. He missed you, for crying out loud, snoopy eyes are the last thing on his mind. So when he’s close enough, his hands reach for you once he has you within reach, grabbing your arms and pulling you to capture you around his as he mumbles a speedy greeting, and you are damn glad he did. You can breathe again when you find yourself trapped in Poe’s arms, your nose pressed against his shoulder letting you take his scent in… Maker, how you missed that scent. It takes a second for you to hug him back, being taken aback by his swift hug, but the moment you do you can feel Poe’s back relaxing against your fingertips.
“I missed you,” Poe says, his voice longing for you as if the words had been stuck in his chest for days and days.
“I can see that.” Your voice is muffled by the fabric of his pilot suit, but even like that he can hear the small chuckle that your words carry. It was nerves and happiness and the excitement to see him again after all those days, but he couldn’t care less, your little giggle sounded like music to his ears. He breaks the hug eventually but not without letting you go, keeping his grab on your arms to keep you close and be able to look at you. “I missed you too, flyboy.” Poe sighs again, not being able to stop smiling at the sight of you. “Long mission?”
“The longest, and they just keep getting worse.” There’s a grunt in his voice and tiredness in every single one of his muscles, all you want to do is take it all away, but the only thing you can do is give him an apologetic smile and rub his arm; he gets what you mean anyway, and in his eyes, you can see that he appreciates it. “Do you want to go find something to eat? Can I just debrief the mission with you?”
“I wish you could.” You can’t help but laugh at his idea, sharing a quick laughter before you both remember he has to go. “You really should go talk to-”
“I know, I know…” He interrupts as if the sole mention of where he has to be could drain him even more. A couple of seconds go by, seconds which Poe takes advantage of to look at you in silence and smile. “I just really wanted to see you first.”
A smile is exchanged in silence between you, shy and with heat on your cheeks. You don’t want to let him go, even if you know you are going to see him later. Why can’t you just see him now?
With a squeeze to his arm and a nudge of your head to set him off, murmuring a quick “Go,” to which he replies with a wider grin. As you turn around to see him walk across the tarmac you are met with Kaydel walking towards you, she stands beside you silently keeping you company.
“You are crushing hard on him, aren’t you?” She states.
“Of course not.” It is impossible to lie to her when you’ve grown up together, yet still, you do.

The Case of Turnabout Light
For some reason I've been really cagey about the case surrounding the comic despite the case being almost entirely irrelevant. Yes, I have the entire case planned out. Or at least I have the murder planned out.
The comic itself only takes place on the first day of investigation, I actually plan for it to end in just a few more parts. The murder actually has very little bearing on the comic, the comic is just showing how I would have tied off Klavier's loose ends.
SO! The murder takes place in Klavier's own apartment. Klavier had been on a solo tour up until the day before and had returned to LA at around 2am (idk the date it never came up when I was thinking). Klavier returned home and immediately went to bed. He got up and went to work at the Prosecutor's office the next morning when police received report of a body found in his apartment by his maid at 10am.
real quick apartment floorplan for you-
(I'm aware the scale is way off I haven't made a proper floorplan in a very long time)
Body was found here
The body was identified as the young Rita Porter (female; 26), she was a well known celebrity tabloid journalist. She was most famous for reporting the whereabouts of celebrities at any given moment and, most famously, The Gavinners. She was regarded as a stalker by the larger Gavinners fandom, having Klavier's regular schedule long memorized and regularly selling his location to paparazzi.
So why is the corpse of Klavier's stalker in his apartment?
of course the case against him is extremely damning. She was stabbed six times in the chest, the murder weapon being one of Klavier's kitchen knives found bloody next to the body in the bathroom. His prints are on it, of course.
Strangely, though, there are signs of a struggle in the kitchen itself, but no blood. The struggle is actually visible in the comic itself!
There's another fascinating piece of evidence found in the kitchen.
Klavier's apartment building has a security station in the lobby and the doors to the apartments are all locked using key cards, kind of like a permanent hotel.
In the floor of the kitchen Apollo ends up finding a master key card, although there's no writing or anything on it so he has no idea what it is.
(Columbo voice) gee, ain't that funny? What's a security key card doin' in Klavier Gavin's apartment?
during the trial you end up finding out that the master key card had been stolen after around 12am, this is told to you by the security logs in the building, Klavier's apartment was entered using the master key card at 12:30 ish. The maid is our witness for the day, her having access to the apartment with her own key card makes her slightly suspicious.
The prevailing theory, then, is that Rita had stolen the key card in order to break into Klavier's apartment before he arrived home from his tour. Her motive for this is unclear, but her prints are found on the card.
Brand new test results come from the lab and Destiny ends up reading them out loud. The victim's body and the murder weapon both test positive for traces of poison. This is funny, why would the killer stab her six times with a poisoned blade? Surely once would suffice; and if Klavier was defending from a home invader then why use poison at all? Not to mention no bottle of poison was found on the scene.
Apollo ends up spinning that until the poison is found, a verdict cannot be reached.
Going back to the crime scene, they find the front door slightly ajar. It turns out the door doesn't close completely on its' own.
Apollo also ends up going out on a limb and goes back into the office room featured in the comic. In there he finds a stack of tabloids with articles written by Rita Porter. Each have paparazzi photos of Klavier around LA in the past six months, and each seem to have something in common in the background.
There's a man in the background of each photo. The same man. Every. Single. One.
Things start unraveling. Klavier had not one stalker, but two. The two seemed to have contact with each other, but their interactions were not friendly. Apollo gets a hunch, and they all decide to go to the victim's office to search.
They find a diary with a list of locations, and a picture of the security guard at Klavier's apartment building.
Next day at trial they find the truth.
Lochlan Key (male; 28) was a musician of 20 years old eight years previous. He was good enough to be offered a record deal, to finally achieve his dreams.
Until The Gavinners went platinum, that is.
The record label passed on his contract in favor of signing The Gavinners, and a deep-seated hatred began for him. Unfortunately, their backgrounds in law enforcement meant he couldn't do much other than follow their movements. Waiting for them to fail.
When the Gavinners broke up he celebrated, but finding out that Klavier was continuing his solo career broke him. He got a job as security in Klavier's building and hatched his plan.
The night before he knew Klavier was due to return from tour, he broke in using the master key card. He spread poison on Klavier's kitchen utensils hoping to kill him. Unfortunately, he hadn't accounted for the fact that the front door wasn't heavy enough to close on its' own.
This is when Rita entered the apartment.
Rita, through her job of tracking the Gavinners, discovered Lochlan's stalking, and she began to stalk Lochlan. She managed to deduce his plan that night and followed him to Klavier's apartment, where she used the open door as an opportunity to confront him. He killed her in the kitchen in a blind panic. He then resolved to frame Klavier for the murder. He cleaned the blood in the kitchen and moved the body to the bathroom, but he didn't have enough time to straighten out the kitchen before needing to flee.
Rita had saved Klavier's life, but lost her own.
This is how aj2-3 concludes.
#Most of this was figured out while the comic was beginning#I initially intended to draw the entire case but obviously that's way too much work#and seeing how the comic has been going for me lately#I'm really glad I kept it to such a small scale.#The comic is meant to focus solely on the characters' relationships with Klavier and I think I've done a decently good job so far#even if I have to pull some things out of my ass to avoid going into the details of the case.#apollo justice 2

more caligari hcs because its 2 am and Somebody has to make them
Cesare is missing some back teeth. How he lost them is better left unexplained.
Jane can play the piano, but she's not very good at it. She had to take lessons when she was young, but they never went anywhere. The best she can do is a few basic parlor songs, but she's even worse as a singer.
Francis has a very tense rivalry with Jane's mother. Dr. Olsen likes him enough, but Mrs. Olsen is frustrated by the fact that a commoner like him is so easily welcomed by the other members of her family, as she spent a long time socially ascending to marry into wealth. Jane has been brought up to think highly of her family and takes offense if they're insulted, so while Francis is very critical of them, he tries to restrain himself around her- which does not always go well.
Every year, Caligari celebrates March 12, the day Cesare was (canonically) brought into the asylum. Usually this means Cesare gets to spend the day outside of his box- but he's asleep the whole time, so he's not exactly doing any celebrating. He might also get a sprinkling of sugar on top of his usual porridge. as a treat
Alan is actually very, very afraid of death. This is because he's so in love with life, he's terrified at the prospect of leaving it. He was orphaned and raised by his grandfather, so part of his fear comes from being familiar with death from childhood. He loves his two best friends, but frequently gets unwanted thoughts about their potential deaths, which he doesn't want them to know about.
Alan and Francis went to school together as children; Jane was privately educated by a governess. Whenever they met up, she was always excited to ask them what was happening at school, which usually involved some account of Francis getting into fights with whoever made the mistake of bullying Alan in front of him.
Caligari actually hates the fairs. But he's gotta commit to the bit
Before he ended up at the asylum, Cesare was a talented yet amateur dancer who was poised to advance his career from clubs and dance halls to a professional ballet company. Unfortunately for him, his institutionalization meant he missed the audition that could have been his big break. He was very sickly as a child, but got into dance at a young age in order to strengthen himself.
Francis' main hobby is spying on everyone else in town. He keeps a notebook detailing as many people's schedules as he can, and loves to gossip.
Jane was always bad at eye contact, and often overcorrects this by staring at people for long amounts of time. This is often misinterpreted as either romantic interest or rudeness.
Kids in Holstenwall regularly dare each other to knock on Caligari's door and run away. They don't actually know he's Caligari; they all just think he's creepy.
Most people in town expected Alan and Jane to end up together, which made Francis feel insecure about himself. However, Jane wasn't interested in either of them, and Alan was only interested in Francis.
Francis prides himself on being logical and observant to detail. However, he cannot pick up on the hints that Alan is constantly putting down. In all fairness, Alan is so damn nice to everyone that it's impossible for anyone to tell whether or not he has platonic or romantic feelings for them.
Francis was asked to recite Alan's poetry at his funeral, but couldn't do it, as he was grieving too hard and too focused on solving his murder. He'd come to regret it, and kept Alan's poetry journal in his house, which he'd be very protective of.
Jane likes to pretend she's a ghost when she's bored. She wanders around the mansion in her long white dress, making weird noises and doing things like rattling candelabras. It's gotten to the point where a few maids are convinced there is a ghost, and she's scared away at least one prospective suitor.
Jane's mother is weirdly obsessed with England, which is why her daughter has an English name although they live in Germany. Mrs. Olsen always makes a point of following English etiquette and clothing trends, and always tries to work the fact that she has a distant relative in England into conversations. The relative in question does not want to contact her.
Speaking of English contacts, Caligari claims to have once co-authored an academic paper with a certain Dr. Seward. Nobody can confirm or deny this.

season 2, episode 10, part 12 MALECS FIRST I LOVE YOU AND I ALMOST PUT KISS OOPS, “by the light of dawn”
157. ah shit, I think I left off here. did I? let’s just pretend I did
Raphael: thank fuck I have vampire speed
158. damn, Izzy and Raphael just broke up
159. did Raphael go about it the wrong way? absolutely but I can still understand why he did it in the way he did. I think show Raphael is always stuck between wanting to do good for his clan and desperately missing how his life used to be. I don’t see why they needed to end Raphael and Izzy though. like at least give them a try
160. jace thinks clary will drop Simon asap which in a way, she probably would but he’s entitled to think he’s that desirable that clary would instantly leave Simon. show and book Simon and clary are very different. Clary couldn’t give book Simon the time of day. but she seems to at least like Simon a little in the show. I wouldn’t go so far to say she loves him because she definitely prioritizes jace over him but she loves him as a friend. Simon later says “you don’t love me the way I love you” or something like that and it’s 100% right.
161. Alec: I could’ve told you that
162. Jace is like I’m going to get her back because it’s that easy for me
163. no mention of his wolves so as long as clary is fine that’s all he cares about
164. Jace thought it was going to be easy BITCH YOU THOUGHT
165. I WAS LITERALLY LOOKING FOR THIS GIF WHEN I POSTED MAGS HAS ARRIVED BUT HERE IT IS
166. it’s a good scene when you can see the jealousy on jace’s face. I honestly think he thought clary would dump Simon and date him instead asap
167. and I’m pretty sure this is supposed to be Sebastian. book Sebastian, absolutely hate him. there was no need for him to sexually assault clary to show how evil he is. and then to have clary grieve him on top of that? AND THEN TO MAKE IS SUFFER ANOTHER JACE AND JONATHON IN THULE. please don’t allow CC to ever write about trauma. she doesn’t know how. but show Sebastian? I FUCKING LOVE HIM. I tend to feel bad for him for all he went through and I like how the show doesn’t try to do the incest as hard as CC does. ITS LITERALLY IN ALL HER BOOKS. and fucking hell, I wanted him to kill jace. I think he’s more charismatic and you tend to feel more sympathy for him. I’m talking about Sebastian- not jonathon. the only time I was grossed out was when he kissed clary. but I feel his actions tend to make sense and he’s shown to be more sympathetic
168. might as well finish the gif amount and finish it off with Malec (and they have been used but it feels illegal to not fill it all up with gifs)
YES I ADDED ALEC WITH WEAPONS I CANT HELP IF HES PERFECT
169. I’ve repeated myself on the things I don’t like: but basically how jace just keeps getting away with so much and doesn’t seem to care. Luke irritates me too and he doesn’t deserve to be pack leader. I hate this whole shadowhunters can do whatever but downworlders can’t. the downworlders are obviously going to revolt if their family members died. but shadowhunters only care if their people die (and not all but most). I wish this was something the show would improve on because they had the potential. it’s almost like downworlders have to walk on glass around the clave. also tired of jace and clary doing whatever and everyone accepts it. I’m going to feel so sad for Simon soon. he would die for clary and she would just choose jace over him consistently. also hate the new intro when clary says Magnus, a warlock and three bravest shadowhunters- jace, Izzy, Alec and I’m pretty sure that’s her order of who she likes. if they were going to do voiceovers, they should have included everyone and done different ones 🙄
170. what I love: THE FUCKING MALEC CONTENT MAIA BEING RIGHTFULLY ANGRY AND THE IZZY AND RAPHAEL STUFF. the beautiful Alec stuff. he just keeps getting better and better. his fighting skills which I appreciate is nothing like book Alec. his caring nature. if I were Alec, I would be mad at jace but he goes back and is friendly with Jace as if nothing happened. and I get the whole manipulation but it doesn’t sit right with me. Alec goes from fighting his impulses to slowly taking his time dating Magnus to telling him he never thought he could have what he wants to fighting about Izzy and being mad at Magnus and then to freaking out over his possible death and proclaiming his love.
Alec is absolute perfection. his scenes are too notch and Matt kills it everytime. (he is seriously one of the most underrated actors) his anger towards aldertree, post Malec argument to kissing Magnus with all his love is everything. he’s got so much range. and he’s also a character that just instantly forgives (which I don’t think he should) but Alec stuff 10/10.
Magnus scenes- absolutely riveting. his selflessness, trying to protect downworld and also clary at the same time but also showing his subtle signs of worrying about Alec. he doesn’t say it but you can clearly see it on his face. showing madzie all the love (and I also love how madzie saves Alec) and just being the most caring sweet man. Magnus and Alec holding each other after professing their love and the kiss was the best scene in the entire episode. you can see their fears and their love expressed on their faces. (Harry is also very underrated as an actor) Magnus content 10/10
why does the show have so much Malec fans? JUST LOOK AT THEM. they were able to bring toxic book Malec into passionate happy healthy so much bloody chemistry let’s root for them show Malec. Malec has the biggest fan base for a reason. and I’m going to say, it’s not because of the books.
I don’t know anyone who prefers the book Malec version who also likes the show. they just don’t exist
the Maia stuff was also very good as well. she’s such a complex character and I love to see storylines for her. I was a tad upset that Raphael and Izzy didn’t have a chance but I also enjoy their friendship. the show is great at giving the side characters who got shoved away in the books a chance to shine and have heir own stuff going on. all in all, I’d give this episode a 7.5 rating (probably)
so that is it for this episode with 170 for the number. thank you for joining MALEC TOLD EACH OTHER THEY LOVE ONE ANOTHER AND ARE SOULMATES and ew can CLACE go the fuck away yet? discussion post debate shitpost bitchfest roast. I’ll be doing the 11th episode probably tomorrow or at least I hope so. we’re getting so close to 12 and that is one of my favorite but also hated episodes for a reason. unpopular opinion maybe but azazel is one of my favorite villains and I love him. not what he did to mags obviously but his powers are so unique and he should have stayed on for more episodes. I needed to see more princes of Hell. but it’ll be fun!!!!!!!!! see y’all soon and thank you for tolerating me I KNOW IM TOO MUCH
#anti cassandra clare#anti cc#just my stupid opinions#alec lightwood#magnus bane#anti jace herondale#shadowhunters tv#show alec is superior#show magnus is superior#show malec is superior#anti clary fray#anti clace#putting anti cc on all show shadowhunter posts because i don’t want an pro book fans hating on my shit#show izzy is superior#shadowhunter show is superior#IM GETTING SAD FOR THE UPCOMING EPISODES#170 is the number#THE WAY MALEC LOOK AT EACH OTHER#I honestly couldn’t think of a better way to handle their first I love you#it was fucking perfect

Okay, part of the problem with the cutscenes in USUM is that so many of them just, aren't necessary.
For instance, most recent part I've played, let's look at how the Aether Foundation and Malie City go.
Aether Foundation is introduced in a cutscene
You get a max 30 second break to run around a small area with nothing to do
Then you get another cutscene where you meet Lusamine
Then a quick battle with Nihilego
Then another long cutscene comprising of leaving Aether and the ferry ride to Ula'Ula
Theh another to introduce Malie City and remind you to go to Malie Garden
Hit up the pokemon center, it and the docks being the only thing before Mali Garden
Walk four steps and get waylaid by Hau for a battle and reminder to hit up Malie Garden
Don't bother trying to walk passed it- Lillie will stop you and remind you to go to Malie Garden
Get a cutscene as you enter Malie Garden
Get to run around a little bit, do some exploring, until you come across Kukui
Another cutscene that's functionally just 'we saw an Ultra Beast!' 'Cool! Go down Route 10 and do your next trial!'
Leave Malie Garden and run directly into a scene with Lillie who says she's going to the library
Freedom! You can explore the city as long as you don't get too close to the library entrance, and maybe even go onto Route 11 I didn't try it
Still though, Route 12 is closed off until you finish your next trial and 11 is short so the only other way to go is Route 10
Try and you will be stopped until you finish the Lillie stuff
Go to the library and you immediately get a cutscene that exists only to go 'btw Hapu is here too and might help Lillie, some other time'
In the library, a cutscene and then a brief moment of getting to walk around
Another cutscene
Finally get actual freedom to leave the town and do whatever- at least until you get to the end of Route 10 where Kukui arrives to go 'pokemon league *winkwink*' and escort you onto the damn bus to the next trial
It's ridiculous. And entirely unnecessary. You could literally cut out the entire thing with Malie Garden and it would change nothing except having less railroading and cutscenes. It doesn't do anything for you, the game's not about to let you miss the next trial, you literally can't go anywhere else without backtracking. And having multiple little cuts there for the Lillie stuff is just- Again, you don't need it.
Just, have your team heal at the end of the Aether cutscenes. Hau challenges you when you arrive in Malie City. Cut the whole Malie Garden deal. That frees up a bit of breathing space. Put Lillie a little farther up the road, so players can notice and go to investigate the Garden themselves if they'd like without being drawn into her stuff damn near off the bat.
When you trigger her scene she asks about her mom, then notes that she hit a clothes shop up the road and got a new outfit, though she can't see herself wearing it (a statement that especially so soon after meeting Lusamine and with so little between them would put a pin in player's heads). She tells you she's planning to hit up the library, and hopes she'll be able to find it on her own before heading off.
Look at that! With just that we've cut out a good three cutscenes! And a roadblock! Then you can have Lillie's library stuff trigger when you enter the library, with her noting that she got lost on her way there but a nice lady with a Mudsdale showed her where to go. This cuts out another cutscene. If you really want to open shit up, you could allow the player to just rush right up Route 10, since the path back from the trial drops you back in Malie City right next to the library anyway.
Without the Malie Garden stuff, you can cut that bit of Kukui faff at the end of Route 10, instead giving him just the whole League monologue at the top of the mountain. Instead, if you have to get him informed of the Wormhole stuff you see, you can add that to the stuff that comes after the trial, which I fucking hope is not as much a slog as all this shit- it has been a while. It would still be annoying but less so.
And bam! You open up and lift the weight off a whole portion of the game that feels bogged down! It would be less work even, aside from possibly putting in some code to trigger the Rotomdex to go 'oh hey isn't that the library Lillie wanted to visit the first time you enter Malie City from that direction if you haven't already met up with her. But for some reason I doubt that's that much more effort than putting together four extra cutscenes and two roadblocks.

The One That Got Away - Part thirteen
Negan Masterlist
Series Masterlist
Part 12
After hours having spent at the station; making sure Negan was safe and as comfortable as can be, you decide to head to his house to update his wife about him after your shift ended.
Taking a deep breath, you brace yourself and knock on the front door. After a few seconds, it opens and your greeted by a very stressed-out looking Lucille.
"Y/N...?" she stares at you in concern.
"Has something happened to Negan?"
"Coach's fine, Mrs. Smith. Thought that I should make a turn and give you an update on him" you explain your visit.
Lucille exhales in relief.
"That's very kind of you. Please come inside."
You faintly smile at as you enter the home and take a seat.
"Can I get you something to drink?" Lucille offers.
"No, thank you Mrs. Smith" you politely decline.
"I won't be too long, so it's not necessary."
"Ok" Lucille responds, taking a seat as well.
"Where do I begin..." you sigh out mostly to yourself.
"Coach has been booked for assault and battery and will remain detained until he comes before a judge Monday morning" you inform Lucille.
"Oh-my-God..." Lucille stares open-mouthed at your information.
"Is it really that bad?"
"Honestly, it may end up even worse..." you sigh out.
Lucille frowns at your remark in confusion.
"What do you mean?"
Running your palm across your face for a moment, you then look her in the eyes.
"Depending on what the damage is on the man he assaulted, the DA might go for attempted murder charges."
"Oh-my-God..." Lucille groans out, resting her face in the palm of her hands.
"All this because of some asshole..."
"What exactly happened?" you enquire.
"The guy was being obnoxiously loud and became an asshole towards me when I asked him to quiet down a bit" she explains.
"Was that all?" you frown in confusion.
"Negan asked him to apologize, and the guy became an even bigger asshole. He kept running his mouth and Negan finally snapped."
"Ok, I'm getting the picture now" you nod.
"The fact that he was provoked could help in Coach's favor. There were witnesses, so they'll hopefully come forward. But to be on the safe side, I'd suggest you come in tomorrow and make a statement about everything that occurred up until the fight broke out."
"Thank you, I'll do just that" Lucille nods in agreement.
"I made sure that Coach was safe and comfortable while detained" you inform her.
"Oh, thank you so much!" Lucille gasps out, jumping up and hugging you in gratitude.
"Don't mention it" you give her a faint smile.
"There is one thing that I need from you both though."
"Anything!" Lucille nods in agreement.
"Neither of you can mention that I was here and that I helped in any way... it could mean trouble for me."
"Of-course!" Lucille nods.
"Thank you for helping this far."
"It's the least I could do for my old Coach" you comment.
You barely slept a wink the entire weekend; worry for Negan and the guilt of having to pretend with his wife had kept you up.
Knowing that Negan was to come forth for arraignment this morning was making you nervous. The charges against him serious and you knew that the DA was a bit of an asshole, he would most definitely make sure that Negan got the harshest punishment possible. You hoped and prayed that Negan had a damn good lawyer because he desperately needed it with that man.
"Here..." your partner gets into the car, handing you a cup of coffee.
"You look like shit."
"Why, aren't you a bouquet of sunshine and roses..." you drawl out in response.
"You worried about your old Coach being arraigned today?" he then remarks.
"Kinda..." you sigh out, blowing on your coffee to cool it a bit.
Taking a sip, you then explain.
"He's really a nice guy. That guy was an asshole towards his wife, provoked him and he snapped."
Your partner arches a brow at your remark.
"How'd you come by that information?"
"His wife told me" you confess.
"Jesus, Y/N!" you partner scowls at you.
"Tell me, you did not discuss the case with her?"
"I didn't!" you quickly lie in response.
"I just went to put her mind at ease about him being detained, to let her know that he was safe and comfortable."
"I hope that's all you did..." your partner utters frowning.
"Swear, that's all I did" you state.
"Good" your partner nods and the topic was soon dropped.
You realized then how absolutely right your partner was; you couldn't be connected to Negan in any matter where this case was concerned.
If they were to delve too deep, the truth about your relationship with Negan would come out and you could lose your job because of it.
The only solution was to keep a distance from Negan while the case ran its course and hope to God that none of your dirty laundry got aired during it.
Only problem was, getting Negan to play the game.

"The truth is, I want, to want, to live and so do you"
My dear fellow Sleep Token fans and everyone who might also be interested in my little story. I just see many of you struggle. I still do sometimes but mostly I'm doing okay. I also know that many of you relate to the lyrics the same way that I do. Meaning having experiences with mental illness.
I was able to drag myself out of severe addiction problems. At least that's what was on the surface and what everyone could notice.
Maybe sharing how I was able to turn that around will inspire someone?!
This is not some scientific research or something but just me being old and speaking from my own experience.
I'm going to hide this from here on because of the topic and also I don't want this to be too long and I also know that most of you won't care. But I care about all of you that's why I'm writing this.
Just for starters a few things or facts....
I'm almost 37 at the moment and I started slowly spiraling downwards when I was 12. I was not afraid of much so I started stealing alcohol from my parents.
When I was around 14 I started to self-harm. I did not hide it in the beginning because I wanted to see if someone says something. Testing boundaries has always been my thing, or not having any.
When I was 15 I was anorexic. Those three addictions stayed with me until a few years ago. In 2019 I had a big turning point. I have not had anything to drink in a few years now but since last year I did relapse a few times with self-harm, meaning cutting myself.
I don't want to lie to you or pretend that I'm 100% doing okay....it's a bit of a bumpy road.
I was in therapy but it did not go well. I was in psychiatry but it did also not go well. But...the strange thing: I know strange people and one of those is a retired therapist. He recommended that meditation is so great and maybe could be helpful.
So I started to read about mediation in 2010 and tried around a little.
There was something there but I did not want to get better at that time. It took so many times of waking up totally hungover until I had enough. So I started researching like crazy. I made mediation and everything that had to with it my obsession. Seems like a contradiction but it's not. As if it was a new addiction.
I ended up reading every book that Dr. Joe Dispenza ever had written because part of his research is finding out what meditation does to our brain. And then I found more...omg....quantum physics. You can get lost in quantum physics. You know...the obsessions.
I started listening to a lot “spiritual” stuff on YouTube as well. So much there but useless....I also liked all kinds of “spiritual gatherings” that were broadcasted online.....idk..
It did not feel like this was leading me anywhere. But what happened is that I found a will again. Finding the will the end addiction is crucial. When you don't want to change then you're not going to.
I also got better in mediation or in other words, I just sat down and mediated. I got better in not giving into my cravings. It was little successes that made me stronger.
I was able to not drink for longer periods of time. It was alcoholism that kept me busy the longest out of all the addictions.
Falling down and standing up again and doing this over and over but learning something each time that I fell down....I also had phases where it just did not go well at all and I was drunk a lot again.
But form 2019 on it went, more or less, straight uphill until summer of last year. But it was hard. I had so much willpower but it was still so hard quite often.
Last year the traumas that I never faced caught up on me.
Here I am writing to you because of Mister Vessel.....he is authentically himself...I admire that and I'm working on that. And also that spritual teacher that I like so much at the moment. Kerry K she is also very authentic (and her teachings fit so damn well into Sleep Token lore). I'm part of her community for a few months now. It's been...well...intense but it gets better. I don't have anywhere to hide any longer. I have to face my traumas.
There is so much out there.....peeps on YouTube sharing their stories and how they got better. Or books or whatever. Everything is there....don't be afraid to look. You can also ask...me for example....
I always liked so much what Chester sings "the hardest part of ending is starting again". (the song is called waiting for the end)
idk why I just wrote that but it was in the field today. I had to do it :)

Illicit Affairs (Danny Nyland x Reader)
pairing: Danny Nyland (Chicago Hope) x Reader
song prompt: Illicit Affairs - Taylor Swift
warnings/content: nsfw if you squint, a lil angst, being Danny’s booty call, Danny Nyland being a f-boy but feeling guilty about it in the end
word count: 1445
a/n: not enough is written about Danny and like, justice for my favourite trauma surgeon, please.
And you know damn well, for you, I would ruin myself a million little times
You felt your heart racing as you left Danny’s apartment, the cold Chicago air stinging your cheeks as you walked down the street. It was nothing short of a routine for you anymore - you’d go to Danny’s after work for a night of heated passion, and then return home, pretending nothing had ever happened.
You’d go into work at the same hospital, he a surgeon, you a nurse, and you’d pretend that the events from the night before never happened. You’d see each other at work for a whole 12 hour shift, avoiding eye contact and stealing glances like a schoolgirl with a crush. You and Danny had an agreement of sorts - things would remain casual, there was never a need to make it anything more, at least, not for him. Danny was never the type to commit to anyone, or anything other than his work. It left a sour taste in your mouth, having something so passionate one minute and then being discarded like a spent cigarette the next, but, you found yourself craving it, the more it happened, the more you wanted Danny Nyland and all his lack of commitment.
Danny thrived on female attention, like it was essential for his survival. He was constantly flirting with the nursing staff, patients, doctors, anyone who might take a liking to him. It’d definitely gotten him in trouble more than a few times, but he always managed to charm his way out of it. Every time you saw Danny using his signature flirt on other girls, you felt your blood boiling in your veins - you couldn’t help it. You knew nothing between you was ever mutually exclusive, but each time he grinned as he asked a girl out for dinner, you felt sick to your stomach. Like someone was taking *your* Danny.
You knew that by the time you clocked in for your shift tomorrow, Danny would have another date lined up, if you could call them that. It was always the same with him when it came to dates - dinner at a romantic restaurant near the hospital, then a couple glasses of wine shared between you and back to Danny’s for “dessert”. Then within a month, he’d get bored and move on to the next one. But with you, it was different. Danny kept calling. Whenever he was bored or alone, you were who he’d call. And obediently, you always showed up. It was like you were magnetized to one another despite everything.
Today, when Danny had called you, you were on your day off. You’d been lounging on the couch, watching tv and watching whatever was on, when the phone rang. Danny sounded playful as you answered. You got the usual, “Hey, what are you doing? Up for a little fun?” and within minutes, you were on his door. Part of you hated yourself for allowing yourself to be Danny’s plaything and the other part of you knew you couldn’t function without him using you.
As your keys hit the dish in your living room, your phone started to ring. You took off your winter coat and boots, putting them away in the front closet of your apartment before answering the phone.
“Hello?” You asked, praying to God it wasn’t the hospital calling you in for an emergency shift coverage. A familiar voice was on the other line.
“Hey, it’s me.” Danny said, his tone different from usual.
“Well that didn’t take long, miss me already?” You teased.
“Actually…”, Danny went silent on his end of the phone for a moment, “I wanted to talk.”
“Talk?” You frowned, chewing your lip.
“Yeah…Can I come to you? I’ll be over in 10.”
After confirmation, Danny hung up and made his way to your house. His knock on your door was firm, and loud, with a sense of urgency to it. You opened the door to Danny standing there in his jeans and sweatshirt, his winter coat draped over him, snowflakes in his hair. He walked in and sighed, this side of Danny was completely unfamiliar territory.
“Hey, can we talk about something?” Danny’s usually confident, cocky demeanor was gone, replaced by someone vulnerable and anxious.
You cocked an eyebrow at Danny, confused by his approach. You felt a tinge of anxiety as you dreaded what he could possibly want to discuss, worried he may want to end things between you. As much as you loathed being at his every beck and call when he wanted some fun, you didn’t want to lose the passion and thrill that had brewed inside you every time you walked through his door. You were completely taken by him, entirely captivated as if you were under his spell. You’d never admit it, but you almost felt like you had feelings for Danny. He was *yours* at the end of the day - he wanted you more consistently than anyone else. He was almost committed to you. Almost.
“Look, this isn’t working,” Danny sighed, his dark brown eyes looking at you with great intensity.
“What?” You felt your heart leap into your throat at his admission.
“This can’t work,” Danny shook his head, “We’re getting…too attached.”
You felt your blood begin to boil as Danny’s words left his mouth. His commitment-phobe lifestyle was coming through, and you felt yourself feeling desperate and jealous, upset that someone else may take your place.
“Attached? Danny, that’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.”
Danny shakes his head and holds up his hands in defense as he speaks.
“No, we agreed in the beginning, friends with benefits, no attachments. It’s getting too far and I can’t let it continue. We were supposed to just be a little bit of fun. Now we’re getting jealous when we talk to other people and people are talking at work.”
You wanted to scream, you felt your blood pressure rising as you shook your head, trying to remain calm as you spoke to him.
“So what, you’re going to end this because you don’t like me talking to other guys or because someone at work teased you about dating me?”
Danny sighed and ran a hand through his thick dark hair. He looked up at the ceiling for a moment before taking a deep breath. The silence in the room was heavy, it felt suffocating and soul-crushing. Finally, Danny spoke.
“No. I’m going to end this before either of us get hurt.”
“Hurt?” You asked, confused by what he was getting at.
“This always goes the same way. We get attached, we start dating, we fight, we break up, we both end up hurt, and we move on forgetting anything ever happened between us. That’s why we had this agreement in the first place. We’re heading to attachment and I don’t want it to end in heartbreak for anyone, ok?”
You shake your head, and can’t help but laugh in disbelief at what he’s saying.
“Danny, you don’t get to make decisions for me or for my benefit, got it? If I want my heart broken by you, that’s my choice. Not yours. And I’d choose to let you break my heart over and over again if it meant keeping what we have. I’d rather be your booty call at 1am after a long night than not be in your life.”
Danny frowns and shakes his head, “That’s not what I want. I don’t want you to think that’s all you are.”
The heavy silence falls on you both again, Danny was avoiding eye contact now, looking at anything in the room other than you.
“Look,” Danny takes a deep breath before he speaks, shaking his head again, “Maybe I’m the issue here? I don’t want to get hurt when you wake up and realize you want someone who can be with you and not be afraid of everything going wrong? Maybe I don’t want to hurt you because I care too much about you, did you think of that?”
Danny’s words cut through you like a knife. You stood there speechless for a few moments before you look Danny in the eye. Your voice is soft and comforting as you speak.
“Danny…maybe I care too much about you too, because I would let you hurt me like that a million times and keep coming back to you. You could break up with me every day and I’d keep coming back. So what does that make me?”
Danny’s lips turn up into a soft smile, he laughs and shakes his head as he looks at you, meeting your gaze.
“Just as stupid in love as I am?”
“I guess so,” you grin at him.

Odasaku!!
2,3,9, and 12 please ☺️
But of course!
2. Favorite canon thing about the character
Hmm not so much a trait, but I simply adore his first person narration in Dark Era and TDIPUD. His inner voice is just so damn fascinating, the way it contrasts with his outward demeanor. It really feels like he was born to be a writer.
I recently read a part of Flawless by Oda-sensei and i feel like Asagiri really managed to put his finger perfectly on Odasaku's voice - they're not the same of course, but do read as related to me, like I can hear echos of Oda-sensei's voice in Odasaku's thoughts.
...come to think of it, that's really more of a compliment to Asagiri lol. Sooo other from that I'm gonna sayyyy his ahoges. They are perfect.
3. Least favorite canon thing about the character
The fact that he died.
All jokes aside, if i had to pick something that frustrates me about him, tho idk if i would call it dislike necessarily, it would be his inability to say the things he wants to to the people he cares about until it's too late. And, the reason for that, his low self esteem issues. I just wanna shake him and drill into his head that his life matters and that people love him.
9. Could you be roommates with them
Obviously, since we're married I think I would get along with Odasaku perfectly fine, so being roommates for a while would definitely be possible. We'd both be the kind of people who would just do our thing and interact with each other on occasion. Plus I love curry almost as much as him, so I'd be keeping him fed for sure lol.
Long term tho I just don't like sharing living space with anyone so after a while I think we'd go our separate ways.
12. A headcanon about them
Dunno if it counts as a headcanon per se, but I'm pretty proud of the childhopd backstory I came up with for him in my fic We've Come from Ugliness. I won't divulge all of it because spoilers, buy I think he must have been raised into the assassin business by someone, who then ended up abandoning him (or dying) at still quite a young age.
Thank you for the asks!

1, 8, and 12 for the Violence asks?
The same still goes - I LOVE TO HAVE MY MIND CHANGED! If anyone reads these and thinks of a counter example or a fic/bit of meta that will change my mind, let me have it.
the character everyone gets wrong OK, so this is going to be the one that gets me run out of town, chased by a mob of people with pitchforks, but I'm going to answer the custom follower Kaidan. I get why - he's a fluffy romance mod at heart, and while I have no idea whether he was made in response to the SR mod he is often held as the alternative to Bishop's rapey vibe, and thus ends up being mostly written as an endlessly nurturing, supportive love interest for the DB in fics. But Kaidan dealt with his pain by drowning it in alcohol and moon-sugar, and decided to become a bandit. Only to find out the group he joined weren't bandits they were a DAGON CULT. And it was only AFTER he stood by while the cult tortured and murdered an entire family that he had second thoughts about being a part of it. THEN when he escapes and goes back to Skyrim to sober up, he gets black-bagged and tortured for who knows how long. Dude's f'd in the head and obviously has some incredibly maladaptive coping mechanisms, is what I'm saying, and has some SERIOUS SHIT in his past that any good-to-neutral alignment love interest would have to come to terms with. I LOVE him for it, but it's not a side of him that I see explored much. It's what I'm aiming to explore in Wives of Shor, if I ever manage to finish the damn thing. And ALLLL of this is one of the reasons why I went so feral over @gilgamish 's fic, Tides to Carry Us Home when I came across it - the look at Kaidan through Felix's eyes (someone who is also very mixed up in the head) is DELICIOUS.
8. common fandom opinion that everyone is wrong about Please allow me to paraphrase something I tend to see quite a bit. I'm not thinking of any one person, and honestly, mostly it's a take on r/skyrim lol:
"The Nords are prejudiced against Khajiit because they won't let the caravans in the city." Khajiit caravans aren't excluded from the cities because of racism, they're excluded because of a) protectionist economic practices and b) THE CARAVANS ARE DOING AND ENABLING SO MUCH CRIME OH MY GOD don't get me wrong I love them for the "poor us, the Nords are so mean" act they put on very successfully (at least it worked Ysolda) but Ri'saad literally came to Skyrim with a bunch of people in debt-bondage to be a war profiteer. It is totally justified that all of the jarls took one look at that whole situation and said, "OK we don't have enough guards to keep you out of the province as a whole, but you are NOT doing that shit in my city."
12. the unpopular character that you actually like and why more people should like them
HEIMSKR. He has no chill. He has no fear. He has no orthodoxy (if you listen to his speech all the way through he says things that I'm very certain NONE of the other priests of Talos would endorse, like Talos being the head of the pantheon, or Alduin being sent by Talos to punish unbelievers.)
He just stands in the square, all day every day, and yells at the Gildergreen, which is Kyne's sacred tree. Combined with his insistence that Talos is the head of the pantheon (the place of Kyne in that Old Time Nord Religion) I feel like there's actually something going on there. And then if you side with the Imperials even being arrested doesn't stop him yelling about his crackpot theology. We stan a stan.

Long-awaited Thoughts on the Part 1 Teasers
youtube
Been a while since I posted anything Beastars-related because I've been trying to focus on my own writing as well as on the damn GED. Having ADHD makes everything so slow and cumbersome...
I saw the teaser trailer back in March when it first came out, including the livestream from the Japanese YT channel (I forgot the name lol). Even though I couldn't understand what they were saying, I was excited (and nervous). I've made it no secret in the past and present that I've become very critical of Beastars' later arcs, especially everything post-Season 1 over the past few months.
Looking back on Season 2/post Vol. 6 these past few months got me noticing many things I didn't consider firsthand, or things that just flew by me due to my brain being off and only focusing on the things in front of me, as well as hearing things others on and off of sites like Reddit had noticed that I didn't initially have also gotten me looking back with a more critical eye.
A part of me is hopeful for Season 3. I have hopes that it'll change and salvage enough of the last two arcs into one cohesive finale, fixing all the bad, weird, or questionable writing decisions on Paru's (and I'm sure the publishers) end.
But after Season 2 basically followed the manga almost exactly, even up to the other strange writing decisions that were made that started the downfall of Beastars, I'm wondering if it's even worth it. If it's even worth holding onto hope anymore. And if I'll just be disappointed and let down again.
At the same time, a small part of me just... doesn't really care about Beastars anymore...? At least, at the moment? Partially because of the long wait. And partially because I've been trying to focus more on my own writing for my "Fireborn" books, trying not to fall into the same traps that others have stumbled into, all while taking bits of what I liked, didn't like and/or thought could have been better, and running with them to salvage them enough to be something worthwhile, entertaining, and memorable.
Also, I have a feeling that, since it'll be a 2-parter, both parts will consist of only 12 episodes... which makes me more nervous than excited. It probably means the Dropout Arc will follow the manga exactly, while Melon's arc will probably follow the manga exactly the way it did, only it'll have tons of fat removed.
I dunno. I mean, the theory was that the final season would have 24 episodes, and 12 + 12 = 24. Though, I was kinda hoping the final season would be just one season with 24 episodes, as it would have probably broken the 12-episode mold. But breaking it in half seems like the better way to go. I don't know. I'm still kinda nervous.
Again, part of me just almost doesn't really care what happens. If it's good, great. If it's bad like the rest of the manga.... eh...?
I guess it's because I'm too jaded now. Idk. I will probably watch only for Melon. Not that that makes much of a difference anyway, considering what a mess he turned out to be in the end of the manga.
This probably also means Haru is still probably going to get treated as more of a prize to be won, again. And Kyuu's probably gonna still be in it and divert attention away from the more important things (Louis and Juno's development as a couple, Legoshi and Haru's relationship development as a future couple, Melon's development as a villain, etc) to put screentime on things that ultimately won't matter again, the narrative is still not going to hold Legoshi or Louis accountable for their actions, Legoshi's still going to hate himself and pull out his own teeth (only for them to magically grow back making the whole thing pointless) and avoid Haru most of the time again, making them getting together feel unearned, and Melon's still probably going to be an inconsistent mess of a villain and his promise with Haru will be dropped after looking like it'll be important... again.
Or maybe they'll remove the things that didn't work and replace them with ideas that will work and improve it. Hopefully.
But seeing the official trailer four months ago made me more hopeful and curious. I'll still watch it to see anything is different as well. The animation is still gorgeous.
Also, I loved seeing the return of hellhound/demon-eyed Legoshi again! I remember being disappointed that they didn't really bring that back in Season 2 when I saw it, especially during the fight against Riz, but I'm glad they're reviving it here. Seeing him wake up with red eyes after having a dream about Haru where she was replaced by Louis' foot, all while hearing the red deer demand him to eat it, makes me wonder if they're going to give Legoshi some serious and dangerous consequences from consuming Louis' foot last season? Are they going to give give Legoshi a reason to drop out?? I was wondering if maybe his consumption of Louis' foot reawakens his carnivorous instincts and he finds himself wanting to eat Haru, which causes him to drop out? It also makes me wonder if they'll bring more focus to his meat-withdrawal symptoms. After the water fountain accident, his instincts never really came up again in the manga and were more told to us rather than shown.
The shot of Legoshi and Haru outside also makes me wonder if they're including a scene where Legoshi sees Haru off to college. It'd be cute if they did. So the implications in this teaser showing him struggling again after seemingly overcoming them… really gives me a lot of hope that they're improving the manga.
Also:
Gosha and Yahya look amazing. It makes me excited to see how Melon will look, and it makes me curious to see who Studio Orange got to voice them.
AND we've finally got a date. December. When in December? Who knows. It's better than no date at all.
All in all, I'm still a bit nervous, but am still hopeful.

DS9 4x20 The Muse thoughts (I’m re-watching, so beware spoilers for future episodes!) [12 July ‘23]
I had no idea Jake's mind-nomming happened in the same episode as the Lwxana/Odo marriage - okay let's gooo!
"I won't let him do it, Odo." "Who? What?" I guess being telepathic, she might forget she actually has to start from the beginning of a story and explain it rather than have people pick up from what she's thinking?
This alien talks in the weirdest way. I'm glad Jake starts out uneasy, at least.
I hate when Jake picks something over spending time with his dad. Like, it checks out, he *is* a teenager, but Sisko's always so disappointed 😭
"What do you want me to do about it?" "Either cheer her up or get her to leave." Love how Quark thinks Odo could cheer her up rather than just be security getting her to leave.
Oh!! At Quark's request Odo does go and give up his routine and free time to make her happier :3 I do love these two.
Odo's war with himself over being unpleasant to ward her off from his quarters but also not wanting to. :3
"Major Kira and First Minister Shakaar are involved now." "How sad." "Not at all. I'm happy for her." For most of the time Odo is actually such a good bro. I don't like the framing later on that he somehow 'deserves' Kira just because he likes her, but he really is so respectful.
"Well, just don't go do what I did. Look for someone to fix your broken heart then end up pregnant and on the run." "I don't think there's too much danger of that happening." His little laugh. I am sad he and Lwxana couldn't be together.
"[I feel] Like a changeling who's had to hold his shape too long." It's sweet that she puts it in understandable terms, I think?
"Lwxana? Your replicator isn't really broken, is it?" Aww it took you that long? Call yourself a detective XD
"I'm sorry if I made you feel unwelcome." You literally did less to make her feel unwelcome than you do to any other person who comes your way though!
Oh damn I had paused this halfway through and once again forgot Jake's storyline was the other half of this episode!
Why do I feel like that pen should write in Jake's blood?
This alien is so creepy and I hate this so so soooo much
Haha! Odo laughing! I love how much they enjoy each other's time
Why not lie to Lwxana's husband, and tell him that she's not here??
IT'S ODO'S IDEA TO GET MARRIED??? I HAD THOUGHT IT WOULD BE LWAXANA! HE IS THE SWEETEST
Odo's so tender as he helps her up to the stage thing!
Miles' uncertain look at "add her to what is mine"
Quark's wistful sigh at Odo's "I didn't need anyone else."
"The truth is, I was ashamed of what I was, afraid that if people saw how truly different I was they would recoil from me." *camera pans to Julian* OH THESE TWO GIVE ME FEELINGS. They would just have the ability to relate so hard to each other! Tell me that that quote couldn't belong to Julian in DBIP.
"The day I met her is the day I stopped being alone." *Kira looks down* Oh, I wonder what she's feeling about that. Because she definitely thought they were good friends.
I am still surprised the husband doesn't fight harder. All he needs to do is doubt it. I guess some part of him really did love Lwxana?
"What can I say? I'm a hopeless romantic!" Really, Quark? Sure.
"You know, for a minute there, I really believed you wanted to marry me." Oh, he DID.
"Orange juice." Sometimes Jake does things that make me remember how young he is. (Even though I'd be ordering apple juice all the time though... But everyone else usually guess got tea or coffee or alcohol.)
At least Jake's in a public place when he collapses. Glad he didn't go back to his quarters.
"He was the youngest I ever found. So eager, ready to give everything he had in one great burst." Apart from he hadn't agreed to give everything, he didn't know that was what you were doing and he wouldn't have consented if he had!
"You really should stay." "I'll miss you, too." Ohhh. Lwxana's ability to cut to what Odo is feeling.
"I could stay, try to make you fall in love with me, but we both know that won't happen. Then I'd end up resenting you, and our friendship is far too important for me to let that happen." I love these two so much though ❤️❤️
"The dialogue is sharp, the story's involving, the characters are real. The spelling is terrible. I especially liked the father." SISKO :3 I love his dad-ing
"All you need to do is learn to find them by yourself." Sisko is such a wonderful dad. And so good at advice and saying the right thing!
Anslem - he wrote that in the alternate timeline where Sisko dies? But on his own? I guess in that timeline, at this point was he too sad for the alien to find him an alluring target? I like how we know it's his - and I'm guessing Sisko does too from his memories of that timeline. :3

4 and 12 and 14 and 17 and 18 for lizzy and maybe the other fallout gals if you want
THIS GONNA B LONG poppin a readmore down. This might also be illuminating for some people on why I drag with my New Vegas and Fallout 4 fics. >>
4. In developing their backstory, what elements of the world they live in played the most influential parts?
For Lizzy backstory was relatively easy since Fallout 3 gives you one premade. The greater wasteland as a whole does have its influences in what I ended up expanding on with her just in that I really wanted to amp up the contrast between her and her surroundings. The world is hard and difficult and violence is frequent and here's an asthmatic girl who was born a preemie and not suited for the skills that would make life in the wasteland easy but she's going to try, damn it. With Carmen I think New Vegas' standout in vibe from 3 and 4 played a big role with her. New Vegas the city is a big deal, but there's an equal if not greater emphasis on the world outside the city. The survival skill always fascinated me, and I wanted a character who really thrived in it, totally outside of the pre-war ruins that play a more heavy role in both Lizzy and Eleanora's stories. I wanted a character where anything to do with the city and old world was usually a bad thing. She's got few experiences in the city that she can chalk up as nice. Fallout 4 always gave me a sense of yearning and nostalgia, mixed with rose colored glasses for the world before. It also gives a backstory I decided to follow pretty closely for Eleanora - she's one of the first OCs I started fleshing out in my return to tumblr and the fandom scene and writing fic so she's not quite as branched out or creative as the others, but in general the ruins of Boston reflect her mindset. There's a lot of damage with the building of something new over it, but there's still the old shining through all the while.
12. What have you found to be most difficult about creating art for your OC (any form of art: writing, drawing, edits, etc.)?
I think Lizzy is one of my 'lightest/brightest' characters, and as someone who leans toward the angsty in my work that can be difficult for figuring out things to do with her that capture her properly. Because I want to be nice to her. She deserves it. :( Carmen is probably my hardest OC to do things for just due to her complexity - or at least, the complexity I want to try and put into her. It's difficult to try and untangle the threads and make them into something that makes sense. I might be overthinking things and worrying too much, though?? Carmen and Eleanora both share the same difficulty in that they were created and written when I was in a very different and darker headspace than I am now. There's a lot more innate sadness to them and again, while I like my angsty work it's also difficult to enter into that headspace while writing them or making works for them. HOWEVER both of them have stuff in the works for their advancing and growing and healing so that part will be easier. The other hard thing with them is their being fleshed out and having works made for them earlier than Lizzy and my not being super happy with how in depth that is, but such is life. :V
14. If you had to narrow it down to 2 things that you MUST keep in mind while working with your OC, what would those things be?
Lizzy:
1. Is physically small and weak, and that should show in visual art of her. In writing, it influences her approach to things. 2. Is emotionally a behemoth and has a maturity and sensitivity there that emphasizes she's a woman, and not a girl.
Carmen:
1. Her outsider nature. In both appearance and mannerism Carmen tends to chronically stand out as someone who doesn't belong - an irony usually because she had done a lot to belong and in the case of the Mojave it's home. 2. Her intensity. When she finds somewhere she manages to belong she will cling to it. She's no stranger to violence. She'll do what needs doing. There's a fire in her eyes.
Eleanora
1. She's of the old world. She has ideas from it that will linger, expectations of the world, habits that are hard to break. Generally most obvious in her personal grooming and appearance, she keeps weight better than wastelanders and has pre-war ideas of style. 2. She's also lost everything. As a result she'll fight hard to do good and try and replace a little scrap of what was stolen from her, but there's a manic edge to it. There's always a very deep melancholy in her that she rarely allows herself to even touch because it'll drown her the second she does.
17. Is there some element you regret adding to your OC or their story?
Lizzy - no ragrets. Probably because I developed her with a more practiced hand and mindset compared to my other ladies and am still very happy with the work I've done with her. Carmen - I do dither a bit about her backstory working at Gomorrah. It plays into how Vegas holds nothing but bad vibes for her (and the irony of how this place that was so bad for her is one who's fate she can influence in this big way) and also that she, like Mary (my Bloodlines OC), has a bit of a gift in a tragic event that occurs to her. Carmen's amnesia/bullet to the head helps her have a new start she'd struggle with otherwise, even as it robs her of the good things in her life. But on reflection I don't know if it was too much or not. :V Eleanora - Not really, but I do wish I went with more detail and a fine toothed comb in expanding on how her pre-war origins have influenced her and how they've given her some preconceptions that are incorrect. I wish I gave her more of an arc in learning and growing from that, and giving her a little more depth.
tl;dr lizzy is my favorite fallout child because writing and art hard
Thanks for the asks!!! <33
