self-control is never even mentioning to one’s sibling the possibility of wingmanning you to the church guy despite their already having a passing acquaintance

we will see if self-control is also not texting the guy’s sister out of the blue like ‘hey if you’re going to prayer meeting this wednesday do you want to pray together’ as she and i also have only a passing acquaintance and the last time we actually spoke was probably christmas

#this comes on the heels of 1) waiting to go to the college/career dinner fellowship tonight as long as possible but them not coming down #until far later and going to a different table and mine being full #and 2) that exacerbating my already high levels of sensory/social overwhelm to the point where i had a mini-meltdown in the car a few minut #*minutes later while my longsuffering sibling waited with the tissue box at the ready #i'm so normal about this guy i've only had one small conversation with y'all xDDD #anyway it's FINE i'm FINE church isn't about having one person whose presence makes you happy it's about worshipping God so.#i can last four months it'll be good for me #(am i aware of the irony that this guy has the same first name as the guy i crushed on as a college freshman whom God promptly moved to a #university across the country after one school year? indeed)#(ENORMOUSLY aware in fact)#singlemess #personal
