i do feel like jon is fully lying to himself when he thinks that if any of his brothers said their sister was in trouble he would tell them not to bother. like, realistically, if pyp was like “my sister wrote to me and she’s starving and there’s war everywhere idk what to do jon can we send her some help, some money, where can she go” i feel like jon might initially rebuff him but then he like “well she’s close to this place, if she goes to this lord she might be safe. i’ll see if i can send a raven” he likes to pretend he’s unfeeling but he actually feels so much all the time
