ABSTRACT.

Wave, also known as aura, is the life essence that all living beings emit to some degree. Wave guidance is the ability to control and sense this wave, and it is most commonly found in Pokémon such as Lucario, Gardevoir, Mienfoo and Mienshao. Some humans also possess this ability, and there exist organized temples which specialize in teaching and training these aura adepts to master their abilities. People who complete their training in this field are called Wave Guardians and are typically seen partnered with a Pokémon adept in wave guidance, though there are documented exceptions.
