(  alex  fitzalan,  twenty-four,  cis  man,  he/him  )    HUGO  AUGUSTIN!  we’re  so  happy  you’re  here.  you’ve  been  her  for  TEN  YEARS,  working  as  a  STRUGGLING  ARTIST,  right?  yeah,  everyone’s  already  told  us  all  about  you.  they  said  your  very  INTROVERTED,  ARTICULATE,  and  HOT-HEADED.  which  we  think  is  just  awesome.  of  course  they  told  us  that  you  remind  them  of  LOUD  MUSIC  IN  A  SMALL  APARTMENT,  COFFEE  ADDICTION,  &  AN  OLD  GUITAR  CASE  ON  THE  SIDEWALK    and  RUNAWAY  by  AURORA.  so  we  feel  like  we  already  know  you  so  well.  we  can’t  wait  to  get  to  know  you  better.  (  autumn,  est,  24,  she/her  )
hugo  was  born  in  paris,  france.  his  father  was  a  business  man,  and  his  mother  was  a  socielite.  he  grew  up  in  the  upper  class.  he  went  to  a  private  boarding  school  for  the  majority  of  his  time  in  paris.  he  was  there  for  the  majoriy  of  his  time,  so  when  he  was  fourteen  and  his  mother  and  father  informed  him  they  were  moving  to  america.  his  father  was  offered  a  job  and  was  getting  a  work  visa.  they  were  going  to  move  within  a  few  weeks.
being  at  a  boarding  school  did  put  a  wedge  between  hugo  and  his  parents.  he  wasn't  around  them  very  much,  and  now  that  he  was  going  to  be  around  them  constantly,  he  felt  he  had  to  get  to  know  them  again.
when  they  moved  to  america,  they  moved  to  denver.  everything  seemed  perfect  at  first,  but  slowly  hugo  was  shown  who  his  parents  truly  were.  or  more  like  who  his  father  truly  was.
by  the  time  he  had  started  school  in  the  area,  his  father  had  picked  up  drinking  (  a  habit  he  had  in  france,  but  not  something  that  hugo  ever  really  got  to  see.)  and  thats  when  the  fights  started.
at  first  it  was  small,  but  as  time  went  on  the  fighting  got  louder.  three  months  after  they  got  there,  hugo  heard  the  sound  of  his  father  hutting  his  mother.  it  shook  him  to  his  core,  and  as  a  fourteen  year  old  boy,  he  had  no  idea  how  to  handle  the  situation.
at  first  he  thought  maybe  he  had  heard  wrong,  but  then  he  heard  his  mother's  tears  and  her  face  the  very  next  morning.  she  lied  of  course,  not  knowing  that  hugo  knew  the  truth.
from  there,  it  all  spiraled  down  hill.  when  he  was  sixteen,  hugo  finally  stood  up  to  his  father.  they  got  into  a  physical  altercation,  and  his  mother,  in  fear  of  what  his  father  might  due,  took  his  father's  side.
that  was  the  first  time,  hugo  was  ever  put  into  juvie.  he  was  only  there  for  a  few  days,  but  it  was  enough  for  him  to  know  what  type  of  family  he  was  born  into.  from  that  day  on,  hugo  was  running  away  constantly,  getting  into  more  fights  at  school,  doing  drugs,  drinking,  and  just  about  everything  he  possibly  could  so  that  he  didn't  have  to  go  home.
when  he  was  seventeen,  his  father  forced  him  into  rehab.  of  course,  hugo  couldn't  help  but  find  the  irony  in  the  situation,  but  while  he  hates  the  man's  guys,  rehab  was  where  he  found  his  love  for  art.
it  calmed  him  down,  and  even  took  his  mind  off  of  the  situation  he  was  in.  once  out,  he  graduated  high  school  and  went  to  college  for  a  degree  in  graphic  design.  once  he  moved  out  of  his  parents  house,  hugo  cut  them  off.
he  didn't  want  anything  from  them,  nor  hear  from  them.  while  he  gets  small  jobs  here  and  there,  hugo  is  struggling  to  put  his  name  out  there.
he  also  goes  by  hue,  because  he  got  the  name  hugo  from  his  father,  and  it  makes  him  very  angry  when  someone  calls  him  by  that  name.
