wip wednesday

okay so i am like fully procrastinating the fact that i have an exam next week for a course i have not had a lesson for since DECEMBER and i'm working on a bunch of little tumblr ficlets instead of any of my big fics so take this from the accidental kiss fic:

They're in the baking aisle when Christopher brings it up.

"Am I just supposed to pretend I didn't see that earlier? Without a bribe?" he deadpans, eyebrows raised expectantly. Buck glances at him over his shoulder distractedly, a furrow between his brows.

"Pretend you didn't see what?" he asks as he compares the prices of self-raising flour.

"Buck." Chris sighs, long-suffering.

"Kid, I'm gonna need more than that." Buck grabs the bigger bag and drops it into the cart before turning to give Chris his full attention.

"I saw you kiss dad." Chris rolls his eyes. "You did it right in front of me."

"What?" Buck blinks. Of all the things he'd been expecting, well, let's just say that hadn't made the list.

"Buck, you can't gaslight me," he scoffs, rolls his eyes harder. "I saw you French my dad."

"Where are you learning these words?" Buck blurts out, unwilling to face up to what his heart already seems to know as it pounds against his sternum.

"Mason." Chris shrugs. "He made a Tumblr account."

and the opening of the neighbours au because i am so attached to this idea already and its probably gonna end up being a behemoth of a fic that i won't finish until august:

Buck isn't entirely sure how he ends up owning a house at twenty-six, all he knows is that Hen shoots him a dirty look when he tells her how much it cost him.

It goes like this: they arrive at a medical alert button call in a small neighbourhood of semi-detached houses, Buck breaks down the door and locates the old woman who had fallen, he talks to her as Hen and Chim diagnose her with a broken hip, she tells him that she's moving in with her kids, he tells her that he's trying to move out of his ex-girlfriend's apartment, then she's offering to sell him her house for the same price she bought it for in 1978.

The next thing he knows, he has a wholeass house.

um and my brain is mush so idk who to tag but yeah do it if you want to !!!
