Cotton voile my best friend cotton voile
#this 1920s summer dress I made > literally every other article of clothing I own#I’m not confident or comfortable enough to wear dresses and especially vintage and historical dresses outside the house#but it’s literally The Most Comfortable for doing chores because it breathes so nicely#I just wear a light cotton slip underneath and an apron with pockets on top and I’m good to go#so much comfier than my usual jeans and a tshirt#those are comfy too don’t get me wrong#but for housework in 100+ degree heat???#cotton voile is my new favorite fabric#vintage sewing#sewing#natural fibers#summer fashion
