Eight months ago, I started helping with a fundraiser for a friend’s film. Today, the documentary is screening all around the UK. We often say it’s just the two of us on the project, but really we couldn’t have done it without the support of the online community who fights and denounces the injustices of the UK’s criminal justice system everyday. Today, we have 1,000 followers on Twitter and that may not mean a lot in the grand scheme of things, but for us it’s a milestone.
